My mother also had a root canal on a wisdom tooth on one side. Dr. Chen handled it with great care, and her recovery was smooth. My first surgery appointment here was canceled without warning (I only learned upon calling them to ask about my surgery), but the office apologized for it and was able to set me up with another appointment easily. I had four extractions done including three bone grafting, one infection treatment and was able have one implant placed. This was done in less than 2 hours with local anesthesia and minimal discomfort. Afterwards I hardly had to take any over the counter pain meds. With the friendly staff and Dr. Yang's expertise I can't say enough praise about this practice. I have to be back for implant placement in six months and look forward to rest of my treatment plan. I was in a lot of dental pain and I was able to get an appointment the same day to figure out what was wrong. They told me I needed an extraction and started looking for a good time to schedule me in it was a Wednesday, and they said the earliest they could get me back in was the following Monday morning. But the next morning, they called and said they had a cancelation., Luckily, I could get an appointment within 24 hours. The office was super clean, and the staff were so nice and reassuring. Even though I was scared and anxious, the staff were incredibly helpful and kind, making me feel better during my visit. My procedure was surprisingly painless and quick. I've never had a root canal before, but I don't think it could have been any more of a pleasant experience. I was moderately nervous but it helped that I felt safe under her care. The root canal was virtually pain-free. You can't really avoid the initial prick of the local anesthetic at the roof of the mouth. I've had worse lol. There was some post-op soreness (typing this about 6hrs after) but OTC meds alleviated most of it. I had zero issues with the office staff as well. We were able to share some knowledge about dental insurance. I hope I do not need another root canal in the future but if I do, I would want to do it here.
