Today, I pulled up to Advance Auto Parts on my skateboard to get a battery for my vehicle. Upon my arrival, Billy greeted me warmly, asked me what type of vehicle I had, and went through the different battery options they had in stock. When he asked me which of the three I preferred, I jokingly remarked, "I'll take the least expensive, lightest battery you have that fits into this backpack." Realizing that I intended to skate the battery back home (a little over a mile), Ravin told me that Billy could give me a ride back to my house! I was relieved not to lug the battery all the way home, and my boss was relieved that I wasn't too late to work. These guys treated me like a friend and neighbor. They called and said they could source the same brakes in the correct size within the hour and have them installed without delaying my car being picked up.
