So I called office to see the doctor (around 9am). 1. My phone call went answering machine, I left a short message with my phone #. No response for all day. 2. Next morning, my back pain got worsen, called again and went answering machine again. Left another message to see the doctor. No response for all day. 3. Next morning, searched different doctor and treated for my pain following days. 4. At my routine checkup day, asked lady doctor (not Dr.Kim, he was out) why my messages are ignored, she had no clues. 5. Asked same question to the front desk women, her response was hilarious... "Our answering machine cannot translate Korean to English properly. You need to leave a message with English only". 6. I am a Dr. Kim's patient since year 2005 and I know all other patients are Korean. Also all people in the office and all other doctors and nurses are Korean. What answering machine translates the language and why? 7. According to web page, Dr. Kim won't take new patients any more, I guess he is about to retire soon. 8. Dr. Kim is a decent doctor however, not all people at the office.

I started seeing her back in the 90's and have been going ever since. Not only is she one of the smartest people I have ever met, she is pure gold. She cares. She tells you the truth. She will explain everything and give you advice on how to live and eat well. She is a very special doctor, and others know about how special she is. Sometimes the front office staff can be a little "rushed" and "short" with you, but that never is the case with my doctor. While on the way, I called to inform them I would be about 5 minutes late, but I was told I had no appointment and that the doctor was not accepting new patients, despite the fact that I had already been scheduled and selected under my insurance. I want to mention that the office itself was clean, quiet, and well organized. There were two receptionists present, and both of them were respectful, kind, and did their best to assist us professionally. After insisting, I was told to come in. My father was in a wheelchair, weak and confused, and needed care. Unfortunately, Dr. Sheidaei's behavior was very unprofessional. He appeared impatient, dismissive, and spoke to us in a disrespectful manner. He also stated that he does not accept Medi-Cal patients, which was confusing given the prior confirmation. What was most upsetting was the tone and attitude we received during such a vulnerable moment. Instead of compassion, we felt judged and unwelcome. When I asked if he could also see my mother in the future, he responded in a very inappropriate and humiliating way, saying in a threatening tone that I should "not push things" or he might refuse to see my father as well. This was extremely distressing and unacceptable, especially given my father's condition. I understand that medical offices are busy, but basic respect and professionalism should always be present, especially when dealing with patients in critical conditions.
