I was trying to get a quote on removing mold from my vents and possibly fixing ceiling damage. I guess they don't go to condo units all that often because despite telling the scheduler over the phone and in email what my unit number was, it was never included in my address. In my experience, most services will give you a notification that the technician is on their way. I got notified when the guy called me because he went to the HOA office, since he didn't have my unit number. The HOA wouldn't have known anything even if someone was there since I own my condo and am responsible for the inside. The guy arrived, walked around inside with his dirty boots, and only peaked into my vents which were my main concern. He did test the stains in my ceiling with what I assume was a device that measures moisture. Then he said "I have everything" and left. No "goodbye" or letting me know what he saw or what next steps could be taken.

After sending them photos…read moreof discoloration on my exterior brick wall, they could've easily recommended expensive mold testing or remediation. Instead, they gave me a clear, honest assessment--explaining it was surface staining from environmental factors and offering a simple DIY cleaning solution. In a world where many businesses might take advantage of a homeowner's lack of knowledge, they chose integrity over profit. That kind of transparency is rare, and I truly appreciate it. I'll absolutely keep them in mind for any future needs and recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy service. Thank you for doing right by your clients. --James, DeSoto TX

What initially created the need for the call was a gas fireplace that would not ignite I had previously tried ChatGPT, called a chimney sweep company, and even called the previous owner of my house, all to no avail. Within a few minutes of of arriving, Jordan was able to locate the hidden shut off for the gas fireplace and get it working pretty promptly. While here, he was able to notice a couple of other things that needed attention. My tankless water heater had been installed incorrectly by the previous plumber, and the technicians from Hukill's were able to manage that. And also, when it came to a clogged sink in our master bathroom, they were able to address that as well. By the end of our time together I had heard some good stories from Jordan, I was able to practice my French with Joseph and most importantly had a lot of small annoyances cleared up (literally) leaving my home in better functioning order than when they arrived.
