Now I will not say that is a bad thing. This well-oiled machine operates successfully by the skilled and highly experienced medical professionals and staff who run the front office area. Though the lobby is large, it was still a pretty crowded house. I had to take my dearest for a medical procedure here with Dr. Ibach and I found the care overall as highly impressive. I appreciate very much that Dr. Ibach visited the patient (which I did get to be part of) after her procedure, even though she was still pretty dazed as the anesthesia hadn't worn off yet. That was ok. No one forgets good quality Dr. to patient care. Dr. Ibach is a first class experienced professional who I would recommend to anyone anytime. As I watched things move along here, I did notice on the monitor that the names on it moved on and off pretty quickly overall. To its credit, this Borland Groover clinic has created a fine-tuned machine in moving patients along through this medical treatment center. With that, I will add it's good to see their human side too. They do treat the patients in a very caring manner. It is a clinic I would recommend to others. Recommend: HIGH

He WAS in full remission, verified by a colonoscopy, but won't be soon without his medication. The gross incompetence of the billing department caused unnecessary insurance costs. They just want your co-pay and will charge you for a missed appointment (even with confirmation the appointment was preemptively cancelled). As big of a clinic as this is I am sure they will not care about their reviews, but if anyone looking for care reads this, I hope they consider taking their business and health care needs elsewhere.

The facility is top-notch, the campus is modern, clean, and the staff is terrific. Everyone we came in contact with were helpful and knowledgeable. The place is beautiful, art everywhere, places to sit and relax, history of the Mayo family and how it all came to be, photos, and information. This was all just in one part of it where we were, the ER and Davis Building. They also have quality places to eat and even a full Starbucks here. This is a state of the art hospital with world class physicians. Walking the corridors there an air of calm knowing you or your family member are being treated by the best.

My weight had plummeted drastically to the point where I was skin and bones. My gastroenterologist kept telling me to take Pepsid but did nothing to address the root issue, which was a hiatal hernia. After several endoscopy sessions confirming the presence of a hernia he chose to just monitor the situation. I only wish I had found Dr. Sharma sooner. He took the time to listen to my symptoms, order the right tests and personally did my endoscopy. He discovered my hernia was much larger than my gastro initially relayed and I was scheduled for surgery soon after. His skill as a robotic surgeon is unparalleled. I did not have to take any pain meds post op at all and the incisions healed extremely well. What a blessing not to have any complications, something that speaks to Dr. Sharma's level of competence and experience. I am truly thankful and will be forever grateful for him and the standard of care he and his staff have shown to me. He has indeed given me a new life. I should also mention his facilities are spotless and state of the art. That in addition to the sweet and caring staff has always put me at ease. I couldn't recommend Dr. Sharma and New Life Surgical more for anyone who is suffering from any gastro related problem that requires surgery.

Went to my appointment and the only staff I saw was a person who wanted to make sure I could pay and to accept my insurance. That was back when Dr. Borland was still in practice. Fortunately, for every patient he retired. My most recent experience I have been suffering with sharp stomach pains. It took me one month to schedule an appointment. I went on July 3 and was told the doctor needed clearance from my cardiologist. The clearance request was to be sent the following Monday. I called Borland-Groove spoke to a person answering the Clinic main number. She told me that no request for a clearance had been sent. It took three phone calls to Borland-Groover and two calls to my cardiologist. The cardiologist assistant finally was able to get a clearance request form from Dr. Cabi's office at Borland-Groover. It is a sad state when a physician's office or a clinic is being run by the staff and not the physician. I believe it is all about the money that clinic or physician's are making and less, or no regard, for the patient. A similar experience recently was with Southeast Orthopedic where it took four months to diagnose me with a broken hip. You can read my review at their site.

One of the worst experiences of my life! I had been referred there for some severe stomach pain,…read morenausea, and vomiting. When I went in they immediately told me that I needed to get a colonoscopy, so I scheduled one. The first time I did my prep, I had a terrible reaction to the prep medicine and it didn't clean me out and my procedure was scheduled for the next morning at 7:00am. Since the prep didn't work at all and just made me sick and lethargic, I called the colonoscopy office and the doctors office and on both I got a voice message saying that they didn't open their phone line until 8:00am so I had no way to talk to anyone and explain that I couldn't possibly come in for the procedure, so I left a message and then I called again as soon as the office opened up. They told me that they understood and it was fine. They rescheduled me and the doctor gave me a different prep medication (that was not covered by insurance and was outrageously expensive). I did the prep again and went in for my procedure. When I woke up from the colonoscopy the doctor said that I hadn't been completely cleared out so they had to put a lot of air in my stomach. I was in ENORMOUS PAIN! I couldn't leave the bathroom at the colonoscopy center for more than an hour because I was sitting on the toilet praying for the gas to leave my body! My stomach was hard as a rock and nobody there cared enough to check on me. Then fast forward 2 months, and I never got any results so I assumed that it must've been fine and then they started hounding me. Not to give me results or follow up with me about my stomach issues, but to collect $100 for missing the first colonoscopy! Unbelievable! Please do not go here, there are so many doctors in Jacksonville who actually care about your health and this place is really not worth it! It should honestly be shut down! What's worse is that they have more than one yelp review page like they keep opening up new ones so they won't have such a bad review score.

When we arrived, we were instructed to go to the ER waiting room, let staff know who we were with, and that once my mother was placed in a room, we would be able to go to the back. While my sister and I were in the waiting room, a staff member called my mother's last name, told us she could now have two visitors, gave us a pass, and used her key card to let us in the back. Once we walked to the back, a tall man in scrubs immediately stopped us, put his hands up, and questioned why we were there. We explained that we had just been called and shown a visitor pass. He said we should not be there and then brought over another woman, who also spoke to us in an aggressive and dismissive manner. After we explained multiple times that we were following the instructions we had just been given, we were eventually allowed through. As we walked toward my mother's room, one of the EMTs grabbed my arm and said, "You know you're not supposed to follow us here." I told him I did not know anything about that, that I was only worried about my mother, and that we had followed the instructions given to us. He then became more aggressive and got in my face. This was an extremely upsetting experience. My mother was having a medical emergency, and instead of being treated with professionalism and compassion, my sister and I were met with hostility, aggression, and disrespect.
