I was a patient at this office for many years, then my physician retired. Dr. Livingston took over…read morethe practice. For almost a year I saw the nurse practitioner. In September I had an appointment with Dr. Livingston. The day before the scheduled appointment, the receptionist at the office called me and told me I did not need to be seen by Dr. Livingston. She canceled the appointment. I am very sure I do not need a receptionist being in charge of my medical care. Finally in May, an appointment with the nurse practitioner had to be canceled and a new appointment was made with Dr. Livingston. I showed up 10 minutes early for the appointment. I was seen by a nurse who took my vital signs. Forty-five (45) minutes after the nurse had completed her work I was still waiting for Dr. Livingston. During this time I had him having a discussion with another patient in the next room. After 50 minutes I told the staff that I was leaving. I was told it would only be "a few more minutes". I asked how the staff knew that. Finally, I asked if I was 50 minutes late for an appointment with Dr. Livingston would that be okay. Of course, I was told no. My response was "There you good." General Practitioners no longer go to the hospital, do not provide emergency care, and are not therapist. If the physician cannot see you near the scheduled time, find another physician.

I went back to this doctor thinking my first visit was an anomaly but it wasn't. I had to leave the office prior to being seen because I had already waited an hour and hadn't been seen and no one came into the room to tell me if the doctor was coming or how much longer is have to wait. The next visit I waited an hour after appointment before even being taken back to a room. I will never see any doctor at this place again. They clearly have no respect for their patients.

It was my fault that I missed the phone call for a follow-up to go over bloodwork, but when I tried to call back a few minutes later, no one answered. Then I get charged $75. For an NP follow-up phone call. It's crazy. I explained to them that I work at a school in a super busy office and unfortunately missed the call, but they refuse to reduce it. I also could hear every word of the patient visit in the room beside me while I was waiting during my initial appointment, and when I was talking to the NP, a delivery driver was dropping boxes off and it was so loud she had to stop talking and repeat herself etc. Absolutely do not recommend this office. (Also, they push Lymes disease testing way too much.)
