Came here hungover and had the best meal of my life! All the staff is in a great mood and the food was made perfectly within minutes of ordering. I cant stress enough that this place deserves 5 STARS. Our waitress was very friendly, and gave us everything we asked for! The cook is such a sweet lady :) Everyone should come here. The chocolate milk was gassss and the hollandaise sauce is to die for. Definitely the best breakfast i've had in a while.

A bit rough on the eyes, but a good choice.

The large hanging sign has an added "freedom fries now available" shingle at the bottom. It seems like the local old time farmer haunt. Smells somewhat like cats when you first walk in (an olfactory observation that was disputed by my wife - to be fair). It's like an authentic slice of the rural midwest, minus the choking haze of tobacco. Which is a bit weird. But the food and service is great. I was surprised. This being October, my wife had the pumpkin pancakes w/ apple cider syrup, which was really good. I had an egg/cheese/sausage breakfast sandwich on pumpernickel bread, which was also very tasty. Even the coffee wasn't half bad. Patti's is a bit rough around the edges, but it's a good choice. It's also rather small inside, so take a quick peak through the window before you decide to park. They also DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS, so bring your cabbage. And try not to get preoccupied attempting to understand the curious illustrations + captions adorning the wall inside - 'survived by fecal duck' - ?? Some inside jokes are better left uncirculated within the dining public..

Very "home town" kinda place...I love diners like this! We were warmly welcomed (that doesn't always happen to "non-townies") and by luck, a table for 4 was open. We got orders in and food came quickly. One kid got pancakes and bacon - all good, other kid got a plain hamburger and could not have been happier. Husband got Eggs Benedict and pronounced them not only edible but good...and the man has had Eggs Benedict all over the world! I had steak and eggs - nice sized, tender steak, cooked perfectly - eggs were also cooked perfectly over medium. My only complaint? A total lack of seasoning...zero. BUT, I kind of get it too...they are more likely to let you season to your own taste, as the hometown crowd might not go for a lot of seasoning...it's personal. We enjoyed ourselves, walked out full and were treated like a local. What more could you want, really?

A well known establishment patronized by locals and out of owners alike. Splendid food and service. Extremely strong support of community.

Finally used to the Batman 'Hall of Fame' but I will say, the times I've been here, the meals were all quite ample, very fairly and appropriately priced and minus my first foray in, very good service! I've been all over the menu so I can't point out any 'one' thing, but I did just have their Three Brothers (eggs) Benedict which is definitely worth noting! Taking my neighbors son in for brunch this week. I'm sure he'll be enthralled with the decor (I mean it's for REAL), although I'm sure he's likely been here before!

"Holy Unexpected Diner Experience, Batman!"…read more That's exactly what ran through my mind as I limped away from a tire blowout in New Milford, CT. While the tire shop warned me it'd be a long wait (my car apparently decided to audition for "Most Dramatic Vehicle of 2025"), my son, daughter, and I wandered across the street to 3 Brothers Diner... expecting, you know, a normal diner. BAM! POW! WHAM! We walked straight into what can only be described as the Batcave of dining. Every inch--every single inch--of this diner is covered in Batman memorabilia. From ceiling-swooping Batplanes to walls lined with Dark Knight treasures, it's like stepping into the Caped Crusader's personal brunch headquarters. Gotham could only dream of such ambiance. The place is spotless, the staff friendlier than Alfred offering warm advice, and the food? Absolutely delicious. I had the lasagna--cheesy, saucy, perfect. My son devoured his Philly cheesesteak like it was fuel for fighting crime. My daughter kept it classic with eggs, toast, and home fries, all perfectly cooked. Honestly, if you ever find yourself with a blown tire, car troubles, or just a sudden and overwhelming desire to dine with the Dark Knight--3 Brothers Diner is your spot. To the Bat-Diner!

It's that good. Food quality/price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is classic family friendly diner. I stopped here after I just happened to pass by while headed to a friends house and decided I could eat some breakfast. I'm very happy that I did. The place was bustling on a Saturday morning and I was probably lucky to get a seat at the counter. By the time I had finished breakfast, there was a waiting line out the door which is always a good sign. The owner and Griddle Master, Peter, and his wife Stephanie, have operated this diner at this location for more than thirty years! I had the breakfast special of two eggs, HOMEMADE CORNED BEEF HASH (like striking gold), homefries, and bakery fresh rye toast - incredible! Probably the best breakfast I've had in years, seriously. The corned beef hash was properly crispy, as were the homefries, which rarely occurs at most diners even when requested. There were at least five people keeping the customers happy, and the staff and customers were all friendly and talkative. That is a bonus found only in small country towns like Southbury, a small New England postcard quality town right off Interstate 84 exit 15. If you're looking for a truly old time experience that is rare these days, run here as soon as you can. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed! I will be bringing the wife back very soon. But we keep coming back, collecting calories around our waist because everything is so good here! Service - always awesome. Everyone here looks like they work cohesively, everyone is smiling working hard . Coffees always refilled. Food- fantastic, always fresh, on point. This time I got an omelette with tomatoes and this is the first time I had an omelet where the tomatoes don't get mushy. Their hash browns are also amazing! ... while we like the shredded we LOVE the fried- like mini French fries. While all of their proteins are awesome - their turkey bacon deserves a special shout out because it often misses the mark at most places.. but not here .
