My boneless wings in Gangman sauce were ripping hot and very flavorful. During lunch hours (ending at 3) there is a wing combo which includes 5 wings (or boneless?) and a small side plus a soft drink. I wish this was available later in the day. Since it was after 3 pm when I went I had no choice but to order 8 pieces of chicken and the sides were all almost 8 dollars and presumably very large. So i just had my boneless pieces and a soft drink. 5 pieces and an individual side would have been a better fit. Overall I think this business aims higher than the average take-out focused inner city place so for that I give it 4 stars.

The ribs fell off the bone and were delicious. The beans and creamy Mac and cheese were wonderful, and the cornbread was moist and great! Our hospital hosts an annual employee picnic on the rooftop of our parking garage, and we needed a caterer capable of serving a large number of staff members across multiple shifts while accommodating various dietary restrictions. Nicole and Darin confidently assured our event council that they could meet those needs, and they delivered on every promise. They even provided food samples for our team to try and carefully took notes throughout the planning process to ensure every detail was covered. On the day of the event, the team performed exceptionally well, quickly adapting when additional food was needed for our first shift. Their flexibility and professionalism ensured that every employee was served and satisfied. On June 10, 2026, Mission BBQ successfully served more than 1,800 meals at our main event. The feedback from our staff was overwhelmingly positive, with many people raving about the quality of the food and service. In addition, Mission BBQ catered for all 24 of our off-site locations over a two-week period, delivering and setting up self-service catering at each site. They also provided on-site catering for our Highland Family Medicine location, serving approximately 200 people. I cannot say enough about the extraordinary job Mission BBQ did. Their attention to detail, organization, customer service, and ability to execute large-scale events were truly impressive. We are incredibly grateful for their partnership and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional catering services. We look forward to working with them again for future employee events and picnics.

10/10 - Absolutely Incredible!…read more We catered my daughter's graduation party from Texas BBQ Joint in Spencerport, and I honestly can't say enough good things about the food. We ordered the pulled pork, baked beans, salt potatoes, cornbread, and every single dish was beyond amazing. I've been to plenty of events with catered food, and let's be honest--it's usually just "okay." Most of the time, catered food never tastes as good as it does in the restaurant. That was not the case here. Everything tasted like it had just come straight from the kitchen. The pulled pork was unbelievably tender and juicy. It honestly didn't even need BBQ sauce...and I have never eaten pulled pork without adding sauce! It was that flavorful. The baked beans were next level. The meat mixed throughout made them so rich and delicious. My family used to make the old Momma Brown's baked beans all dressed up with bacon and other ingredients, and I've missed those for years. These were even better than I could have imagined. The salt potatoes were cooked to perfection--every bite tasted like it had the ideal balance of butter and salt infused throughout. And the cornbread...I am so glad I didn't cancel it when I was debating! It was more like a sweet, moist corn cake than traditional cornbread. It held together perfectly, wasn't dry at all, and was hands-down the best cornbread I've ever had. The best part? Every single person at the party was talking about how amazing the food was. We picked everything up ourselves, and it was still hot, fresh, and ready to serve. We will absolutely be ordering from Texas BBQ Joint again. If you're looking for catering--or even just a great meal--do yourself a favor and give them a try. You will not be disappointed!

You would think that a restaurant who only does take out would have a better presentation in its to go containers. My husband ordered a 2 meat 2 side plate and both his sides were essentially combined, as were his meats. His container was on the top in the oversized bag on top of a container with a potato and then a container with a sandwich at the bottom. Stacked completely out of weight order. His had also leaked all over everything else so it was a mess. The food itself was just OK. The best item was the cow boy baked potato. The side of corn tasted fresh out of a can, not sure how it's "Cajun". The beans (now mixed with corn) had a nice flavor and probably would have been really great by themselves. My husband didn't eat much of his chopped brisket so that must have not been tasty. He did eat all the chicken. My pulled pork sandwich was really lacking on the amount of meat. I ending up eating it open face because there was way too much bread for the tiny smear of pork. My daughter liked the Mac n cheese and she's picky. If I ever come back it will probably only be for a potato.

They were so good that I wanted to leave a review both here and at the K2 Brewing page. The fries are perfectly crispy and hold up well against the slaw and barbecue sauce. The pork was so delicious--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. I will definitely seek out the truck this summer to try more of their food, and in the meantime I'm glad they're available at K2 Brewing!

Their menu is small and straight forward, but it seems like a lot of their menu items had big portions. I inquired if they served any of their meats a la carte so I don't stuff myself before hitting the next truck. Unfortunately they don't, however the staff member was more than happy to let me sample pieces of their pulled pork and brisket before deciding. Both of these meats were awesome but lacked the heavy smokey flavor I was looking for directly. No worries, because they were still so good that I opted for the Connor Plate knowing well that I couldn't finish it all. For $12 the Connor Plate was a heaping portion of meat, mac salad, corn and beans. The mac salad was not too heavy on the mustard and mayo (perfect!) and the bean medley was sweet and abundant. The barbecue sauce was added the savory and smokey flavor I wanted but was also sweet. The whole pallet of the dish is a little too sweet for me but for everyone else, this dish is still a solid choice! I think they might have other sauce options (hopefully something spicy), so I look forward to checking them out again and pigging out!
