I'm pretty sure that Pat's Pizza was the missing food group while I was in college. Located across the street from Salisbury's campus and accessible via the tunnel, this restaurant is more than just the local college hangout. This restaurant is probably one of the mot family-friendly options in the Salisbury area. Simply put, there is something on the menu for everyone! My college roommate and I lived on splitting a medium cheese pizza and a large Greek salad during our time at SU. Although I would sell my soul to go back in college again, I do enjoy going to Pat's to meet my mom for lunch when I go back to Salisbury. At least I can show up in yesterday's sweatpants and last night's hangover and not be judged. I'm not 19 anymore... The restaurant is exceptionally clean and they do agreat job getting your food to you fast! Even when I'd meet my parents there for lunch or dinner during my time living off-campus at SU, we never had to wait more than 10 minutes. If you're looking for a great Greek salad, consider Pat's. In fact, all of their salads use the freshest of vegetables. Their pizzas are cheap and a force to be reckoned with. It is a typical Greek-style pie, which is my favorite kind! Pat's offers a great family-atmosphere while also appeasing to the SU students. There is practically always an open table and is great for large groups. Furthermore, there is plenty of parking and friendly staff. Whether it's lunch or dinner, give Pat's a chance!! read more

We called in an order and picked it up as we have done many times before. When we got home and gave everyone their food, my daughters husband starting eating his Whole Cheese Steak and found a HAIR! We immediately called and explained the situation. At first they told us to bring it back which we were willing to do. Then the manager got nasty and said that they could not tell if the hair belonged to anyone there. So for $14.00, they lost a Customer, getting this review, and we have certainly spread the word to our family and friends on how we were treated. Did not ask for a full refund on order, just for the sub. We understand that things happen and at the time we were not mad, just wanted our money back. DO NOT GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT HAIRY FOOD!!! read more

We could not eat the undercooked THICK pizza. We trashed it with a promise to never return. Some may like pizza prepared like that but it's not for us.. read more

I went there for lunch recentLy. There is no real service since you order at the counter. The counter person was very pleasant. Prices have definitely gone up since the inflation jump hit in 2022. That said, the quality of the food is still very good. I will certainly go back when I can afford it. read more

This was my first time here as we were in the area where my girlfriend went to school and we're feeling nostalgic. I had heard great things about this place from my girlfriend and others so I decided to give it a try for the last leg of our anniversary trip. We got a slice of pizza I got pepperoni she got cheese. We also got plain cheese steaks with cheese but no other toppings as my girlfriend does not like onions. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks as my girlfriend loves them and they use wet breading versus dry breading like traditional places this gives an even coated crust that adds to its crispiness. I used ketchup for topping and we ended with taking two desserts to go a lemon cake and a rice pudding. We also got a fountain drink. The atmosphere was very nostalgic feeling in terms of the old pizza shops of the '90s. The service was decent nothing really out of the ordinary to report there. The place was also very well kept in terms of cleanliness. This spanned from the eating areas to the front counter all the way to the restrooms, which I had to visit before getting on the road again as we live far away from this location. Overall, not a bad experience I will definitely have to come back and try more options and another cheese steak with more toppings to my liking. I give this place a four out of five. You can also tell a lot about a place about how clean they keep their bathrooms as their bathrooms typically tell you how clean the rest of the place is usually operated and I'm happy to report this is one of the cleanest bathrooms that I've seen in a restaurant as of late. read more

Weekly staple because great food and great price. The staff is wonderful and the if you dine in it's diner style.

Sometimes your body craves pizza or pasta. Who am I kidding? Sometimes? Try any time of the week and twice on Sunday. Anyway. We were in Salisbury across from the university hoping to check out a Mediterranean place my wife had heard about from a friend. Well it was "carry-out" only so we opted for the restaurant nearby: Pat's Pizza and Pasta. It's a Mom and Pop place, very clean and with friendly staff there to help you. The food in a word: serviceable. The salad was good and fresh; there were complimentary pizza dough swirls brushed with butter and garlic (lighter than you'd think). We chose onion rings as an appetizer and they were okay, a little underdone. I had Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife had Spaghetti with meatballs. Both needed salt, both pastas were maybe over cooked (starchy), and the fettuccine needed healthy doses of parmigiana. The meal cost roughly what Olive Garden might charge but probably at half the taste. Patrons near us eating pie said it was great pizza. So meh for us. Still it's a Mom and Pop biz and sometimes the body wants what the body wants. So Pat's will do the job but you know not having you singing their praises to the rafters. Rafters? You get the idea. read more

Personally, I think they have the best pizza in Salisbury. It's hot, tastes really fresh, and the people who work here are always very friendly. Prices are pretty fair too, in my opinion. Nothing to do with the food, but the columns outside the building make me smile every time I come by. read more

I am a Pat's regular now! My first meal here and most recent one was the chipotle chicken sandwich. This sandwich HITS. They got flavorful bacon with tender juicy chicken inside of rustic ciabatta buns smeared with beautiful chipotle sauce. Their waffle fries on the side shmack too! read more

Completely butchered my order that I clearly specified, and the best resolution their "manager" could offer was 25% off my next purchase lmao. I used to to here 2x per week, never again read more

Service is great. Ambiance is typical college restaurant with red naugahyde covered booths and some tables, wall mounted TV's; order at the counter and they deliver or order to your table. Also can order on line/phone and get take out. Their pizza is freshly prepared with a thin crisp crust. Their lasagna is good. Their tomato sauce used to have a robust sweet tomato flavor with a hint of herbs. Recently their sauce (or gravy, if you're from the northeast!) has lost its sweetness and has a strong garlic flavor. If that's to your taste, you'll love their pizza. read more

It all started on a Tuesday afternoon. The craving for pizza and mozzarella sticks came on strong and I immediately remembered Pat's having both on the menu and that they tickled my fancy in the past. After my experience this time around, here's what I have to say... Positives: -Delivery didn't take too long -Pizza was decent -Lunch special was affordable Negatives: -My beloved mozzarella sticks were all busted open upon examination...parted like the damn Red Sea with cheese hardened everywhere. All that was left was the breaded shell of a perfect mozzarella stick that once was. The disappointment I felt created tears which fell into the marinara sauce, which had no use to me anymore. read more

The food here has never been a disappointment! Everything is always good here! Stromboli and calzones are delicious. Any sub I've eaten has been great! Highly recommend it!!! read more

on Friday, 28 July I was in town from Columbia, SC. I wanted some crab cakes and I knew that Pat's had some pretty good ones. Imagine my surprise when I opened my food that I had delivered and saw 2 blackened, charred, dry lumps in the box! They were $26.00 for two and I had 4. I was sorely disappointed that Pat's would send out food that was not fit for human consumption like this. They used to be much better. They did not even taste like crab at all! They were so dry they fell apart when I tried to get them out of the box! just awful! All that money wasted for nothing! Do better Pat's! read more

I had to go lasagna with sausage. Nice cheesy and generous sausage. The salad was crisp and cold. All was great. I will order again!

The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I have been eating from this establishment for years.

We love the pizza here. The cheesesteak pizza is the greatest thing ever! I would be so sad if they ever took it off their menu. Other entrees have been good as well. read more

Literally all three employees were sitting on their asses when my husband and I walked in. Not even acknowledged or offered a table so we could order in as planned after waiting two minutes. best pasta ever. my boyfriend loves the crab cake platter, he gets it almost every time we go here. GO EAT HERE!

Delicious calzone with a nice crunch and sauce. My bf got the buffalo sub and he highly recommends it!

Highly recommend this pizza house. They also make good subs and I love their garlic knots / tho my husband says they're too greasy.

Guys, their cheesesteaks are out of this world. Just order them already. Yummy bread, so much steak you're like "whoa, easy on the steak, fella" and the cheese....please. Their fries are kinda "eh". That's why I order cheese on the side. But let's be real, their online delivery order tracker is really what makes them the awesomest. You can see when they're approaching your home. Minute by minute. And it's not even creepy. It's helpful. You're welcome. read more

We had the Philliy Cheese steak sub. French fries. Everything was delicious. Did the carry-out, didn't have to wait.

Pats seems to be a solid choice. They should incorporate weekly specials. Other locations offer weekly specials.

This is one of my favorite places to eat pizza in Salisbury, it's flat and crispy and the cheese is amazing!!

We got the lunch special number 3 and number 17, a cheese medium pizza and two slices of pepperoni pizza. This was a stop on the drive back to DC from Chincoteague/Assateague, as Yelp alerted us that there were lots of decent pizza options in the area. Pat's ambiance is really nice, it's actually set up like a Greek/pizza restaurant. That said, the pizza is just ok. It's not the best, but it's not bad. Prices were reasonable, and service was ok. read more

I stopped in with a friend while in town for the Sea Gull Century. We were looking to carb load with pasta so we both went for the chicken parm with spaghetti. The salad was large but wet and flavorless. My friend's dinner came about 15 minutes before mine. When mine came, it was different. I had no breading on the chicken and it was like rubber. When the waitress asked how the food was, I told her and she brought it up with the manager. He tried to make it right by making me another but after all the waiting, I wasn't really up for more. Also, the pasta was overcooked and the sauce was bland. At $12 for the meal, I expected better quality. read more

I had the Veggie Pizza and my husband had the Cheesesteak Pizza. Overall we thought the pizza was delicious. Good: Service, price, location/setting (convenient/casual), chicken parm dinner, chicken alfredo dinner, wings, some of their lunch sandwiches. Not so good: pizza is subpar (esp. compared to other places in town), fries (meh no seasoning), garlic bread (always dry and overcooked). This place overal is OK. Not great, not poor; but just ok. It's good if you are looking for quick and convenient Italian food. However, if you'd like a better quality dining experience, better pizza, and overall better food quality, there are other (and better) options around. read more

So let me give some backstory quickly. I attended SU for undergrad from 2006-2010 and during g that span of 4 years I only ate at Pats twice due to the flavorless sauce and cheesesteaks that's left a lot to be desired. However when in the are yesterday I wanted some lasagna and after no one being able to provide a great place to get lasagna when you don't feel like putting in the numerous steps to make your own I decided to SETTLE FOR pats. It was not settling at all. Now my 5 stars is for the lasagna and lasagna alone. I ordered a half which was enough for my daughter and I to eat on for two days, it had peppers and onions cut up freshly, a flavorful sauce and loads and gobs of cheese. Pats will now be my go to for lasagna. The chicken wings lacked proper old bay ratio, when will restaurants learn to dip the cooked wings in butter then old bay to keep the seasoning on and make a crunchy layer by broiling for 2 minutes afterwards ‍. Also I couldn't order all drums even with paying extra it was a no go. I enjoyed the garlic knots that came with the lasagna great for dipping on the sauce. The Caesar salad was the worse salad I have ever had which is saying a lot since salads are one of the easiest items to prepare. There was no fresh Parmesan only a dash of shredded, and the croutons were wet which is disgusting. The dressing was packaged and more or an Italian than a Caesar. read more

Love ordering from here! Stuffed steak pizza is my go to. And the party pizza is great for groups!

My husband & I LOVE Pat's in Salisbury, MD! Their pizza tastes so natural & delicious w/ their homemade sauce. You can't beat $5.99 for a medium cheese pizza unless you're Little Caesar's & they're terrible! The Italian entrees are delicious, too (my favorite is the stuffed shells) & you can order half-sizes if you aren't too hungry; Yet they still seem like 4 portions, regardless. My go-to, though, is the grilled chicken salad: grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, mixed shredded cheese, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, croutons, bacon, hard-boiled egg, onion, garbanzo beans, black olives, jalapenos & Ken's Ranch (even though its delicious enough w/o dressing! As a matter of fact, I'm going to order Pat's right now, lmao! read more

Pats's is hands down one of my favorite places to order from. The delivery never takes longer than 45 minutes and I have never had an order messed up. The food is absolutely delicious! I would suggest you try their chicken cheesesteaks or regular cheesesteaks. The cold subs are full of fresh meats, fresh bread for all subs. But my all time favorite is the chicken quesadilla, it's big enough for two people! read more

I had placed a delivery order for Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp. I was told it came with a side salad and garlic knots so I was pretty excited at first but it all went downhill from there. I was told that my total would be $20 and that seemed very pricy since I only ordered one entrée. I was also told my order would be ready after twenty minutes, which turned into a little over forty five minutes. I know that seems reasonable for delivery, but the delivery was only about one hundred feet (across the parking lot) and they charged me the extra $2 for a delivery fee. When I received my meal, my salad and dressing were sitting on top of my Fettuccini Alfredo so as you can guess it was a hot soggy salad. The shrimp were a decent size and tasted ok. I didn't like that they still had the tails on them because picking tails off can become a little messy with Alfredo. It wasn't the worst Fettuccini Alfredo, but it wasn't the best by far and definitely not worth $17. I think the worst part was when I heard garlic knots, I thought knotted bread with garlic, yummy. Nope, they had pepper flakes all over them which I didn't realize until after I took a big bite out of one. I cannot have anything spicy so when I felt my lips and tongue tingling I knew something was wrong. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed in my experience since I work close by and was hoping to find a good place to get Italian food. Update: I've tried giving them a few more tries. I do recommend their salads, they're great. The pizza is okay, you've got a 50/50 shot of it being too greasy. read more

I have frequented Pat's 3 times, all to order a take-out cheese stake or some other quick sub. On each occasion it's taken over 30 minutes to make the sandwich. The workers are generally surly and seem nonplussed when you ask, "is my order ready yet... it's been 25 minutes?" But do ask-- this is precisely when they'll remember your food has either been sitting behind the counter the whole time, or conversely, the moment when they choose to place your order in the first place. I'd love to say the food is worth the wait, but it's not. Maybe Pat's philosophy is to build costumer desperation by making everyone wait so long, and thus when folks do get their food they won't notice the lack of cheese on a "cheese" steak or the limp, somehow-already-cold french fries. But methinks this is more the case of general incompetence and the curse of low expectations. Next to Salisbury University, I suppose there's always another undergrad to step up to take the place of all the locals, staff, and faculty to scorn this place like the black hole of time-stealing negative energy that it truly is. read more
