Chicken Fingers Waffle Fries

Consistent tastey food. Great portion for the price and never disappointed. Definitely one of my regular places to eat at.

This was my first time here as we were in the area where my girlfriend went to school and we're feeling nostalgic. I had heard great things about this place from my girlfriend and others so I decided to give it a try for the last leg of our anniversary trip. We got a slice of pizza I got pepperoni she got cheese. We also got plain cheese steaks with cheese but no other toppings as my girlfriend does not like onions. We also got an order of mozzarella sticks as my girlfriend loves them and they use wet breading versus dry breading like traditional places this gives an even coated crust that adds to its crispiness. I used ketchup for topping and we ended with taking two desserts to go a lemon cake and a rice pudding. We also got a fountain drink. The atmosphere was very nostalgic feeling in terms of the old pizza shops of the '90s. The service was decent nothing really out of the ordinary to report there. The place was also very well kept in terms of cleanliness. This spanned from the eating areas to the front counter all the way to the restrooms, which I had to visit before getting on the road again as we live far away from this location. Overall, not a bad experience I will definitely have to come back and try more options and another cheese steak with more toppings to my liking. I give this place a four out of five. You can also tell a lot about a place about how clean they keep their bathrooms as their bathrooms typically tell you how clean the rest of the place is usually operated and I'm happy to report this is one of the cleanest bathrooms that I've seen in a restaurant as of late.

Sometimes your body craves pizza or pasta. Who am I kidding? Sometimes? Try any time of the week and twice on Sunday. Anyway. We were in Salisbury across from the university hoping to check out a Mediterranean place my wife had heard about from a friend. Well it was "carry-out" only so we opted for the restaurant nearby: Pat's Pizza and Pasta. It's a Mom and Pop place, very clean and with friendly staff there to help you. The food in a word: serviceable. The salad was good and fresh; there were complimentary pizza dough swirls brushed with butter and garlic (lighter than you'd think). We chose onion rings as an appetizer and they were okay, a little underdone. I had Fettuccine Alfredo and my wife had Spaghetti with meatballs. Both needed salt, both pastas were maybe over cooked (starchy), and the fettuccine needed healthy doses of parmigiana. The meal cost roughly what Olive Garden might charge but probably at half the taste. Patrons near us eating pie said it was great pizza. So meh for us. Still it's a Mom and Pop biz and sometimes the body wants what the body wants. So Pat's will do the job but you know not having you singing their praises to the rafters. Rafters? You get the idea.

Chipotle Chicken Sandwich

I am a Pat's regular now! My first meal here and most recent one was the chipotle chicken sandwich. This sandwich HITS. They got flavorful bacon with tender juicy chicken inside of rustic ciabatta buns smeared with beautiful chipotle sauce. Their waffle fries on the side shmack too!

What a mess!

on Friday, 28 July I was in town from Columbia, SC. I wanted some crab cakes and I knew that Pat's had some pretty good ones. Imagine my surprise when I opened my food that I had delivered and saw 2 blackened, charred, dry lumps in the box! They were $26.00 for two and I had 4. I was sorely disappointed that Pat's would send out food that was not fit for human consumption like this. They used to be much better. They did not even taste like crab at all! They were so dry they fell apart when I tried to get them out of the box! just awful! All that money wasted for nothing! Do better Pat's!

It all started on a Tuesday afternoon. The craving for pizza and mozzarella sticks came on strong and I immediately remembered Pat's having both on the menu and that they tickled my fancy in the past. After my experience this time around, here's what I have to say... Positives: -Delivery didn't take too long -Pizza was decent -Lunch special was affordable Negatives: -My beloved mozzarella sticks were all busted open upon examination...parted like the damn Red Sea with cheese hardened everywhere. All that was left was the breaded shell of a perfect mozzarella stick that once was. The disappointment I felt created tears which fell into the marinara sauce, which had no use to me anymore.

Pats seems to be a solid choice. They should incorporate weekly specials. Other locations offer weekly specials.

The pizza is ok if you like a doughier crust. The ingredients taste fresh and you can taste some of the herbs they use in the sauce which is nice. I would get it again since food options are limited but I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone . Service was fine, seems they'd prefer if you order ahead . We were traveling and didnt know that. They seemed almost annoyed that we wanted to order to go without placing a take out order ahead of time. Pizza took about 25-30 minutes which is perfectly fine but just something to note. The inside of the restaurant is pretty dirty , definitely gives local pizza joint vibes. Overall not terrible food but below average

The mighty meal of a tailgate party or lazy day at the beach.  The subs at Ponzetti's are built on a foundation of flavorful meats and cheese with your choice of toppings! I ordered the whole Italian sub. The bread was soft, the amount of meat was a bit lacking for my taste, and the seasoning was great. Overall, the Italian sub was good and hit the spot for my lunch craving! I also ordered a small fry to go along with it! Oh, and don't forget the drink being born into a Pennsylvania Dutch household, I definitely had to get us a large Pennsylvania Dutch Birch Beer! I'd say overall, this is a pretty good place to get a sub! When you walk in, it looks and smells just like the old Italian sub shops I would go to near Philadelphia growing up. I couldn't tell you about the pizza other than they looked great coming out of the oven, and people were picking them up left and right! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful while taking our order and dealing with other customers while we were waiting. So, if you are looking for a place to grab a quick bite to eat, stop by Ponzetti's, and give them a try!

They have a good selection of beer and I tried the Grapefruit Shine which I really enjoyed. I had the Ultimate Chicken Sandwich. It was a fried chicken breast on a roll with bacon, cheese and Old Bay aioli. Three of us ordered this and we all thought it was really tasty and my husband enjoyed his Hot Honey Chicken sandwich. But be warned it is messy. So yes food was good so why the four stars instead of five unfortunately it was our service. Even though we ordered our appetizer, a Bavarian pretzel ahead of time it did not come out until our meal. And yes this can be timing from the kitchen. Multiple sours for me, hazy IPAs for he, and pumpkin flavored beer to usher in autumn. After that huge setup all we got were fries and beer lmao. The point is we COULD HAVE gotten more if we wanted it. Fries were hot and crispy. The pumpkin beer was incredible. And of note, the actual restaurant space was huge. With Rona numbers on the rise, we opted to sit outside on the huge patio. All in all, def worth a visit especially if you're in nearby Assateague or similar attractions and are tired of crabs lol.
