I would rate Pat's Cafe a 10/10. The food was amazing and came out promptly. Staff was very nice and attentive. Place was clean and homey. Would definitely recommend and will be coming here more often.

the food was so salty :( I so sorry, but we tried to not pay too much attention to it, but it was hard. thankfully, the waitress was on top of it to fill up our water so that we could wash it down. the waitress quickly took our orders and was watchful if we needed any more re-ups. I will say that the bite of the hash brown was very welcoming with the warmth and that the French toast was smoothly made. could have been nice with more syrup made available to us as well as more servings of fruit on the plate. but, we worked with what we got and grateful to have had the table with the different dressings and sauces beside us to tweak the taste in the dishes. when you enter the restaurant, it could be a bit confusing because there is another restaurant right next door, so if you enter through the doorway in the direction of where the gas station and parking spots are, go on the left side if you want to eat here. quite crowded in the restaurant, too, with the tables and chairs overwhelming the floor space. will say that I love how the kitchen is just there so that you can watch them cook and connect with the chefs in conversation.

Sometimes you're hankering for a good breakfast without all the frills. And Pat's Cafe delivers just that. Food: I was pleasantly surprised at my boyfriend's corned beef and hash. I'm dubious of "fancy" corned beef because it always tends to be dry and inedible but it was DELICIOUS. The savory, salty and soft corned beef went well with the crunchy bell peppers and onions. My skillet was decent as well. The hash browns were a little over fried but I like my crunchy lol. The coffee was hot and fresh and served in gigantic mugs. Service: sweet and friendly staff, I believe they may be a family. They also offer Thai food which I might have to try out. We didn't have to wait long for our food. Ambiance: clean, brightly lit with some traditional Thai decor and modern farm house feels. I believe the restaurant was converted from a house.

Finally stopped by Pat's on the corner of Pacific and Carpenter, and wow, what a gem! It looks like a little house on the corner, super cute and inviting. I've driven past it for years, always curious, and now I'm kicking myself for not stopping in sooner. Recently, they added Phuket Thai to the mix, which cranked my curiosity up even more. While the economy has definitely tightened how often we eat out, when we do, my fam bam and I make it a point to support small local businesses. And this is one I'm thrilled to shout out to the community. Pat's is open for breakfast and lunch, serving up both classic American fare and Thai dishes, yes, you read that right! The food was absolutely delicious, the Thai coffee was chef's kiss, and the vibe inside? Friendly, clean, spacious, and totally welcoming. We'll definitely be back. Don't sleep on this spot, it's a neighborhood treasure! If you're in the area, stop in and grab a bite and say hi. You won't be disappointed.

There is absolutely nothing fancy about Pat's Cafe. Just good sized portions and tasty food. DO NOT go if you're in a hurry. Food is made to order on a small grill. It really should only get three stars (maybe) but the staff are so kind, efficient and apologetic. They were very busy and seemed to have quite a few return regulars. Looked like a good place for young families. Special straws on the tables for younger patrons. Hopefully those younger patrons aren't starving.

Wow! Big changes in place for Pat's Cafe! Cassie is back, the previous owner's daughter, and she's got plans. The metamorphosis has already begun, with new fresh paint and enthusiasm when you walk in! Gone are the knick-knacks of yesteryear, the old paintings on the walls, and the counter at the front door that took up valuable real estate. But not to worry, the menu stays, and the bones of the rooms remain the same. Simply put, you can't take the charm out of this place...but you can bring it to the 21st century. Congratulations Cassie! Market the hell out of this special place, keep the great food, and stay enthusiastic. You've got this!

Farmer's Omelet

Driven by this place for literally decades...finally decided to stop in for brunch. Bigger inside than I imagined. Service was a bit slow. Coffee was weak. Asked about the hash--not house made. Went with Farmers Omelet. Was not very tasty. Came topped with a melted slice of American cheese...yuck. Just was not that great unfortunately. I cannot say that I would want to return.

We started with some amazing coffee, but when the most amazing biscuits and gravy came out, I was astounded by the rich mushroom gravy that was more of a stroganoff than a country gravy. The sausage set this dish off and topped with two eggs made every tastebud swoon with delight. Saving the best for last, these evil sorcerers decided to make French toast out of a dense, thick slice of bread pudding. I've recently had a trip to Toutle for 4th of July. Not many places were open for breakfast on the…read moreholiday. My friend was only able to find this place so we went for it. GETTING THERE At first, we didn't realize this place is inside of a Toyota dealership. It's maybe about 5 min from the I-5 exit. It's extremely easy to get to and easy to find. Literally find the dealership with 100 Toyota cars and trucks parked outside haha PARKING Parking availability is just like any dealership. There wasn't a designated spot for the restaurant, but there was a huge gravel/dirt lot just on the outskirts of the main lot. We parked there since we had a trailer with a car on it. Its maybe about a minute walk to the main building where the restaurant was at. AMBIANCE/SERVICE It was 4th of July and the front had maybe 8-10 salesmen all lined up to greet customers. It was a little intimidating when we walked up since we weren't looking to buy a car, but the one closest to us understood we weren't interested and he helped direct us to the restaurant. Not much for ambiance. It is just like any other dealership. No special decor. Just a few lounge chairs, massage chairs, TV, and a brand new 2026 Toyota Tacoma parked next to the dining area for you to look at. The counter where you order at is fairly small. You just walk up, order, they give you a number, then you just grab a seat somewhere. There have limited seating near the counter, but you can opt out to sit at the tables by the front window where the display vehicles are. The staff was friendly and the food didn't take long to arrive. FOOD I ordered the breakfast pizza. I've had breakfast pizzas before, but this one is a little different. It comes with a biscuit crust instead of a typical pizza dough. Then it's topped with normal breakfast toppings like bacon, sausage, ham, cheese, and 2 fried eggs. The eggs aren't scrambled and mixed into all the fixings like others I've had, but I didn't mind this. This also had sausage gravy which I don't typically see on a breakfast pizza, but I enjoyed it. The gravy and the eggs helped balance out the saltiness of everything else. I enjoyed this version of a breakfast pizza with the biscuit crust, but it was a little too heavy for one person. I ended up sharing about half of it. I can definitely finish it, but I won't be moving for a while. The coffee was pretty standard. I also wasn't wanting anything too fancy, so it was exactly what I needed. OVERALL I enjoyed this place and I would come back. At the time, I didn't realize it was the same business as the location in Lakewood, which I've ordered from in the past on DoorDash. I've been meaning to check it out in person. But despite it being in a dealership, I'd say this place is still a good place to check out if you need a quick stop off the freeway.

Yum!) my husband isn't as predictable, and this time he had the Spanish omelet. He said it was delicious, made with Chorizo sausage, Tomato, Green Onion, and Pepper Jack Cheese. Topped with Salsa. He also ordered country gravy on his hashbrowns. The omelets also include a fresh baked biscuit. If you are not up for a full breakfast, they also have a lighter-side menu, or delicious scones. Standard drip coffee or hot tea are complimentary. Over the years they have become quite popular, keeping busy not only with Toyota employees and customers, but also locals and you will see food delivery drivers picking up to-go orders. Usually our meal arrives in a timely manner (in fact, our typical comment is 'oh wow! That was quick!) but today it took 40 minutes to get our food. It was a Monday morning, order was placed at 10:32 and delivered to the table at 11:12.

The server apologized and quickly got us a new coffee! Accidents happen so we were just happy with the quick response to the issue. We ordered the chicken and waffles, Dungeness crab Benedict, and their classic sausage and eggs plate. Chicken and waffles were super good! Crispy chicken, and the waffle was nicely cooked. It also came with a piece of bacon which brought a good saltiness to the syrup. The Dungeness crab Benedict was also amazing! Instead of a crab cake patty, it was just Dungeness crab on top! Definitely prefer it this way because other restaurants tend to skimp on the crab when they do a patty version. The hollandaise sauce on top was nice and creamy and the eggs cooked perfectly. At the end of our meal, we did get the pie of the day. It's a rotating pie everyday. That day, the pie was a blackberry and peach pie. When the pie came out, it was well plated and the crust was flaky and hot. However, the blackberries were still a little frozen on the inside, so I don't think they allowed the pies to thaw out thoroughly before baking. In general, I would give this place a 4 out 5 stars just because service was good and the rest of the food was delicious. The restaurant itself is huge with lots of space for customers. They have a somewhat open kitchen concept, if you walk towards the bathroom you can see the cooks working hard in there. Cool environment and if you're looking for a place to have brunch and drinks I would recommend visiting.

Apparently their first visit was so good that my husband kept insisting we needed to come back together because he was convinced I would love it. He was right lol. We came on a Friday morning around 11am and this place was PACKED. The parking lot was full and there were so many people inside that I was expecting us to have to wait awhile, especially since we were a party of 7. Thankfully, they actually had a table available and seated us pretty quickly in a corner. My only complaint is that it does feel pretty cramped inside. There are a lot of back-to-back booths and tables close together, and some of the walkways are really narrow. I'm personally not a huge fan of the space, but everything else about our experience made up for it. Our server was really friendly and attentive, especially considering how busy they were. All of our orders and requests came out correct, and she still stopped by to check on us in a timely manner. We never felt forgotten even though she was clearly busy. We ordered a basket of fries for everyone to share while waiting for our food and OMG THE RANCH. We don't know what they do to their ranch here but it was SO GOOD. You have to try it!! Everyone at the table agreed that their food was delicious. Ironically, I didn't even order breakfast lol. I got the fish & chips and they were spectacular! The batter was nice and crispy while the fish inside was perfectly flaky. The tartar sauce was really good with it too. And the portions are HUGE. I couldn't even finish mine and ended up taking the rest home to eat for dinner later, so I basically got two meals out of it. It was super filling and satisfying and still tasted amazing later after throwing in the air fryer. The prices seemed pretty fair too, especially considering how much food you get. I definitely don't mind paying when I'm getting a portion big enough to become another meal later. So yeah... my husband was right and I'm glad he made me come here! Good food, huge portions, friendly service even when they're slammed, fair prices, and ranch that I would genuinely come back for. I gave a 5 star rating a year ago although visited several times since then. I can't figure out what happened. Did the chef (s) move on, or pass away and a crew from a local fast food restaurant was hired as a replacement? I ordered the meal with filet, crab leg, lobster (portion?) with baked potato and Death by Peaches for dessert. I have had crab legs here before. This had been boiled until there was no flavor, and very ittle meat. And that was the selling point for me. The lomaster was fine but the sauce wasn't hollandaise as the bartender said. A watery, mustardy sauce. Not terrible but not very good either. Ordered filet medium, came well done. I took it home hoping to add to chili but too tough to eat. Took the baked potato home to save room for dessert and it was good. The real slap in the face was the dessert. I have ordered Death by peaches over and over and was never disappointed. What arrived was a heavy, dry, dense cake without much flavor, some peaches and a small scoop of ice cream. It needed a lot of ice cream or peaches to get through it. I left most of it. I don't mind splurging and I have without complaint but this was such a a disappointment. Most of the patrons were older and I had to wonder if management feels their expectations are lower?
