However there was some follow-up that needed to be done, they came out a few times for repairs that I had a warranty on but never really solved the issue! I tried calling, texting, leaving VM, Nada!!!! That's when I decided to check on Yelp again and give it one more try! I came across Pool Sharks pool service. Called Andy up, he responded very quickly via VM. When we finally were able to speak, Andy came over the same day we spoke, probably within minutes, as he was already in my area. Charged me the service call fee, which was very reasonable. The last company had a difficult time getting my vacuum to clean the pool, there was no flow going through my salt cell, it was a mess. Pool starting to turn green pretty quickly! Andy came over, took the motor apart, started cleaning the motor, discovered that leaves were getting in the propeller, or something like that? Taught me how to put the basket back in so that it doesn't happen again! Made it easier for me to take the Filter cap off so that I'm not spending 10's of minutes trying to put the cap back on, which can take up to an hour trying to align the steel rod back into its groove!! If anything, just that one little trick was worth the service fee!! He really went above and beyond!! Needless to say, I will be using Andy for all my pool service needs!! I would highly recommend Andy!!

Today I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner, who parked his company van in a way that completely blocked the view of oncoming traffic for anyone trying to exit the community. The car ahead of me struggled to get out, so I rolled my window down and let him know he was blocking visibility at an actual intersection. His response? "What do you want me to do?" I suggested the obvious: pull up a little so people can see. He said he couldn't because it would block the guest lane. I suggested pulling to the other side. His response? That would block the resident lane. Here's the fun part: there was no one in either lane and still about 100 feet of empty space in every direction. But apparently, basic spatial awareness and public safety were too much to ask. So instead, the owner of this company chose to block an intersection, argue about it, and refuse to move--despite being told it was dangerous. I still couldn't see oncoming traffic, and when I finally made a left turn, I almost got T-boned. If this is how this man handles a simple, common-sense situation--being made aware that he's creating a legitimate safety hazard--I can't imagine trusting him with heavy equipment, construction, or something as basic as pool maintenance. I wouldn't trust him to dig a hole in my backyard, let alone manage a pool, even if he were the last option on Earth. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and wildly irresponsible. Hard pass.

I'm also providing an update on my situation with the replacement Quattro cleaner I received in March 2024. (See my previous review.) First off, hats off to Marco for going ABOVE AND BEYOND for me relative to this product! I'm not sure anyone else would have made this much effort, but he truly values his longtime customers. The new Quattro did not even last 20 months! Starting in September, I noticed the cleaner was not climbing the pool walls properly. It then no longer rotated and would stall at the steps. Marco has been trying to discover what is at the center of this malfunction for several months, replacing various parts in an attempt to get it to work properly. He contacted his local Fluidra representative and they first said the Quattro was out of warranty. Marco would not take that position as a final answer. He requested the manufacturer send an entire new set of "guts" and he replaced every part FREE OF CHARGE. Sadly, the Quattro still does not run properly. I'll be looking to buy a new cleaner in the Spring, but Marco was not finished. He is working with the representative to see what discount I would receive on a future Quattro should I decide to stay with this manufacturer. (Not sure I will do that given the quality problems with this cleaner and the fact the manufacturer does not stand behind its defective product.) However, I give Marco extra credit to attempt to get me the best deal possible. Therefore, a huge amount of thanks and gratitude given to Marco and The Pool Pleaser for standing up for their repeat customers. We had Doc Dean Pools for years. Issues are never their problem no matter what it is. For weeks we've had a yellowing green pool and was assured that our pool would be looking perfect for our backyard party. This is not safe for anyone to swim in! Again, Not their fault!!! It still was not looking clean at all after two weeks!!! We actually had to move our party to an another venue!!! This was not their problem again, and again. There have been issues over the years where they would never take any responsibility and I just let it go but this time was different because of the way James was in my face.
