Today I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner, who parked his company van in a way that completely blocked the view of oncoming traffic for anyone trying to exit the community. The car ahead of me struggled to get out, so I rolled my window down and let him know he was blocking visibility at an actual intersection. His response? "What do you want me to do?" I suggested the obvious: pull up a little so people can see. He said he couldn't because it would block the guest lane. I suggested pulling to the other side. His response? That would block the resident lane. Here's the fun part: there was no one in either lane and still about 100 feet of empty space in every direction. But apparently, basic spatial awareness and public safety were too much to ask. So instead, the owner of this company chose to block an intersection, argue about it, and refuse to move--despite being told it was dangerous. I still couldn't see oncoming traffic, and when I finally made a left turn, I almost got T-boned. If this is how this man handles a simple, common-sense situation--being made aware that he's creating a legitimate safety hazard--I can't imagine trusting him with heavy equipment, construction, or something as basic as pool maintenance. I wouldn't trust him to dig a hole in my backyard, let alone manage a pool, even if he were the last option on Earth. Unprofessional, inconsiderate, and wildly irresponsible. Hard pass.

The owner, Jason, was extremely disrespectful and dismissive throughout the entire situation. Looking back, I should have trusted the negative reviews I saw before booking with them instead of brushing them off. One of their pool technicians came out on Monday to inspect our filter. According to Jason, the filter was inspected but not cleaned or serviced. He also stated that at the time of inspection, there were no signs of leaking or damage after the technician left. The very next day, we noticed a leak coming from the filter area. When we contacted Jason about it, instead of taking any accountability or even considering that something may have happened during the visit, he immediately claimed the unit was "old and broken" and needed to be completely replaced for $1,700. How does that make any sense? One day the filter supposedly shows no signs of leaking or damage, and immediately after their technician visits, it suddenly becomes "broken" and needs a costly replacement? Jason completely disregarded the obvious concern that something may have happened during or after the inspection. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect from the owner alone is enough for me to never use this company again. I would strongly recommend others do their research and proceed with caution before hiring Blissful Waters Pool Company.

Jason and James are professional, on-time, and communicative. For the first time in my time in Orlando, I don't have any pool worries! Pricing is quite reasonable for the services provided, but Blissful Waters goes beyond providing the service requested and makes excellent suggestions to improve how my pool is maintained. Living in such a hot climate, I am well familiar with the weekly need to add water to our pool. Even before I had engaged Blissful Waters, Jason suggested that I get a hose bib timer so that his team can take care of adding water each week. I did not know that hose bib timers existed or that they were so affordable. Adding water to my pool is one less thing I need to remember to do, because Blissful Waters takes care of it for me. Each week, I receive via email an excellent summary of the services performed, including a photo of the pool. If I have questions, Jason is just a text away. Quite simply, I am thrilled with the service that Blissful Waters Pool Care provides!

If you're looking for a pool service company to solve your pool needs and problems, DON'T contact…read morePooltek Pool Services, unless you're ok paying up front for an assessment with no solution. The first red flag should have been that they required a $95 payment before even scheduling a tech to come out. And even after making the online payment, I had to reach out to them to confirm receipt and prod them to send out a technician. In short, my pool pump stopped drawing water effectively. I was stumped after checking the PCV joints, O-rings, the impeller, and having backwashed my line. The first tech spent all but 12-15 minutes on site to say he didn't know what was wrong but suspected a clog in the line. He said he didn't have the equipment on hand (the equipment being a $12 bladder kit I picked up at Ace Hardware later that same day -- something any pool tech should carry with them). After I tested the line for a clog with the bladder kit, water appeared to be flowing just fine. After several unanswered phone calls to PoolTek, I requested another tech come out. I told a man named Robert (presumably a manager I can't recall, that I had never had a pool repair company come out to my place and not leave with a fix or a solution. A second tech came out and after about 25-30 minutes, he also concluded there was a clog. So, that's when I contacted Dr. Pool Leak Detection to have them pressure-test the line for a clog/ leak ($300 more dollars out of pocket). While I thought it a bit pricey, the tech who came out was very thorough and gave me the results I expected -- NO leak and NO clog. He also pointed out a steady drip of water from under the pump, which I overlooked beforehand. I decided to purchase a pool pump seal repair kit for about $35 and disassembled the pump. Sure enough, I saw worn and broken seals/gaskets. I replaced them, reassembled the pump, and am happy to report it's working perfectly. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT USING POOLTEK POOL SERVICES - unless you like throwing away money and being gaslit.
