Scott's boat repair provides great service and care for your boat…read more I trailered my boat 5 hours to have boat winterized and wrapped because reviews were poor and pricing were way to high in Northern California. When I unwrapped my boat it was dry, no mold, and started right back to. I'll be back again. Thanks to Big Mike and crew!

I placed a call to check on getting a gimbal bearing replaced. I was quoted a price on the phone that was very fair. Upon arriving I was greeted with a welcome smile. The facility is amazing and their parts dept was stocked. The price I was quoted was honored and the work was completed the same day. I have since taken my boat out a couple of times and I can confidently say, they did a great job! Thank you SBR!!!

I called up Mark at the boat dock and said I'd like to get my motor installed. He said he's 200 an…read morehour and I agreed to it and then when I said I drop it all off he literally blew up on me saying he didn't have parking spaces for the boat, which he never made clear and then he got all frustrated and said we probably shouldn't do business together. Obviously, if he's running his business that way, I wouldn't assume he would do anything else correctly and the one star ratings on here are probably more accurate than the five star. I run a couple businesses and I would never treat anybody like this so I'm not sure how this guy can even repair a dinghy.

We have now taken two different freshwater bass boats to this place for repairs and every time we…read moreare told 'the problem is fixed' and it isn't. We get charged, of course, and then we have to haul it all the way back over the Grade because 'this time' they are going to 'really fix it' . . . for another bill of several hundred dollars. This has now cost us thousands of dollars. Today was the last straw. First, he could not find our paperwork on his desk and he could not find our information in his 'program'. After standing around for 15 minutes while he fumbled through his pile of disorder, an employee in the back located us on the computer. As we forked over ANOTHER $355, I asked what our recourse was if the boat was still not fixed. He said we'd have to bring it back so he could take it on the lake to check it out. Not "it's finally fixed", mind you, because he finally admitted he doesn't even know what is wrong with it! At this point, I think this 'Doc' needs to be sued for 'malpractice'. He is a charlatan and a conjurer. We didn't know this because there was no Yelp review before ours but now that we know of his reviews on Yahoo, we are *not* surprised. ( http://local.yahoo.com/info-21213392-the-boat-doc-paso-robles ) I emphatically can _NOT_ recommend this place. Learn from our very costly mistake and stay far away from this Mock Doc.

As a…read morebusiness owner myself (SLO Party Bus) I know the importance of customer service and Lake Life 805 hit the hammer right on the nails head. We rented a couple of jet skis from out of town and acquired a cabin at Lake nacimiento resorts for the weekend. However we dropped the ball on renting a boat or pontoon. I searched up boat rentals in my area, and to my surprise there were very few. Lake life 805 answered immediately and was very helpful and reasonable $$ about booking my reservation.. we booked a 10 passenger pontoon which had an amazing sound system, and new limousine style seating arrangements. They emailed over my rental contract, and even offered to have a copy available for my convenience if I did not have a printer. Which was very very helpful in this last minute situation. Upon arrival, everything went very smoothly from beginning to end. Thank you so much for making this weekend amazing. I would definitely be back again *Yelp please do not hide my review, Jennifer and Mike were amazing and our weekend was the best
