This guy brings bad customer service to a whole new level. He may or may not be a good mechanic, but I'll never know. Every time I tried to call him to make an appointment, he said he didn't have his appointment book in front of him. Huh? Heard of "apps" dude? No less than four times he said he'd call me back, to either arrange the appointment, or later to arrange for me to deliver the motor for his assessment. He never calls when he says. I had to hunt him down. No thanks. I ended up waiting two weeks for an appointment, but could never pin him down to meet to deliver the motor (I tried for three days). I gave up, took it elsewhere. I still believe you shouldn't have to beg someone for THEM to give YOU the service they are selling. I took the motor to Scotts the same day I called. It might be a while, they warned, as it is "boat season," but at least they took my call, took the motor, and so far have done what they said they were going to do. I had Junior come out to do a basic service on my boat, he quoted me a price initially over the phone .He came out and not only did he do the agreed service but did some additional work for no additional charge. I found Junior not only to be very knowledgeable but honest as well. Junior made some recommendations which I will have him do before the next boating season.
