Shortly after buying the vehicle, I had to pay out of pocket for a replacement/programmed key, and diagnostics later identified an engine misfire (P0300), wheel bearing concerns, and brake/rotor issues. Before purchasing, I raised concerns about warning lights and visible damage on the vehicle and was told the issues were minor or cosmetic. I was also told the vehicle was good to drive. After contacting the dealership about the issues, I was initially told in writing that I could bring the vehicle back and unwind the deal. However, the dealership later refused and stated the vehicle was sold as-is. I attempted multiple times to resolve the matter professionally and have since filed complaints with the Virginia DMV and BBB. I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from this dealership have the vehicle independently inspected before buying.

After Audi of Bethesda Dealership did a $900 diagnostic because it's a Audi hybrid I was told the engine would have to be taken out and the timing chain would need to be replaced which is a $9000 repair. The warranty I bought through my credit union would not repair because I only had the car for a few days and it didn't have at least 500 miles on it. Resultingly the credit union returned my $3000 I paid for the warranty. I reached out to Marcos and wanted to return the car to but he would not take it back. I guess that what I get for paying for the car outright. Marcos owns an electric car which he mentioned to me and that he is saavy with reprogramming computers in cars. Thus, I believe he tinkered with this vehicle computer to get it sold before the engine light came on. Marco referred me to an "Audi Specialist" in Manassas who gave me false information about the car but not before he sqeezed me out of $1200 in repairs. He claimed he fixed the problem and turned off the check engine light so I could drive it the 500 miles for a warranty to fix the problem. BIG FAT LIE!!! Once I got a warranty with Car Shield and the 500 or so miles, I took it to the dealer again and got the same diagnostic. I contacted Car Shield after I put it back in Audi of Arlington and they came in with a forensic engine specialist that put cameras through the engine to prove they were not responsible for the issue. According to the computer it was able to provide a freeze frame of the actual time and date of the original check engine light after I got the car and of course it was before Car Shield warranty was obtained. I was stuck with a car that needed fixing so I took it to another Audi repair shop in Pasadena, Md that offered to fix it for $3600. That did not happen!! He made so many excuses such as my dog died, Covid issues, parts stuck on ships in the ocean from Germany, blah blah blah. The car left his shop worse than it came in. The only issue I had was that at first, the owner was not interested in allowing me to take the car for a pre-purchase inspection, however after being adamant that I was not going to be interested in buying unless I could get that done, he agreed and even allowed me to take it to my mechanic that was a county away. The car was in great condition for a car of its age and only needs incredibly minor work done. The price of the car was reasonable and all of the staff were very kind. They were also very honest with me about the financing part of the deal and in the end actually talked me out of doing a loan through the company they finance with since I would save money in the long run using other options. I saw another review online with someone complaining about their car title being mailed to them and having issues with that - I was able to have my title in hand when the car was paid in full, all I had to do was ask. We then noticed the battery light on and a notification on the vehicle screen that battery power is low. Sean told me it was no big deal and he would send me "a $5 dollar part" (harness) that the mechanic broke when changing the battery. We've never received it and after much back and forth and empty promises of sending the part he told my husband to quit contacting him. The battery is also the wrong size and we're having to replace that as well ourselves. When we brought the vehicle home my husband immediately noticed the tires were dry rotted. Sean and his uncle the owner promised to send us a check to pay for new tires, then rebuffed, and then blamed the inspection site and forced us to deal with them to get proper tires. We ended up getting new tires on our own because we were afraid they would not put decent tires on it after all the issues we've had. Bottom line is the car shouldn't have passed inspection whatsoever. There's some shady relationships with this dealership and the local inspection stations. We have also contacted the VA state police who told us they had this business and others along this highway in Stafford on their radar. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE.

Upon our discovery, we attempted to return the car to which the manager consistently and adamantly declined. This company buys vehicles from the auction and does not fix them before they sell them. This was admitted to me by the manager himself. They did not inform my nephew of the many issues and salvaged parts prior to his purchase. The repair shops will not touch the car. We pleaded with the manager to take the car back and he responded by saying "buddy, not in a million years". The salespeople are totally unprofessional and blocked my nephew's calls as he tried over and over again to resolve the matter. We are currently working through litigation to sue the company. We also reported the company to the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, DMV and the Attorney General so they can never take advantage of another customer again. Hamid sent me all details on the vehicle then went out of his way to meet me early one morning in Northern Virginia to show me the truck before I hopped on a flight out of DCA. The SUV was exactly what I was looking for and exactly as it was described. Hamid then spent a week taking it to a local Mercedes dealer for me and having some maintenance and other items taken care of before my family and I flew back two weeks later to pick it up, have it for vacation driving, and then drive back to Ohio. Paying almost $50k for a luxury SUV from out of state was concerning, but VIP Auto was excellent with communication, paperwork, and scheduling. Hamid is very professional and came through on everything, far exceeding our expectations. I would most certainly buy another car from VIP Auto again or recommend them to friends. Even for buying out of state, the description and pics of the vehicle were fully accurate and Hamid answered all questions I had (and I had a lot!).

I purchased a vehicle sight unseen and had a mobile pre-inspection done. I'll get to that later. If I had flown to VA, I would have saved myself the headache and the tens of thousands in negative equity. There were many scratches, dents, and touch-up paint all over the vehicle ($2,000). Cheap aftermarket AMG replica rims with snow tires ($3,500). Lower center chrome trim damaged ($250), driver headlight cracked. The interior was also in terrible shape. Cigarette burn in the headliner, missing rear console door ($185), overly discolored leather seats, rips in the leather, and if there is a clip to hold something together, it was either broken or missing. Two main clips that were broken and missing held the chrome strips on the door handles ($740), a car that is supposed to be quiet was filled with rattling noise when driving. After 3 months with the vehicle, the check engine light came on. Hooked it up to the computer; 3 cylinders are misfiring ($1,000 in parts, work done myself). The dealer wanted to charge $4,000. Rear window stopped working ($385). The mobile mechanic stated that the brakes were in excellent condition; however, they were as thin as a sheet of paper and squealed even when the transporter was backing the vehicle from the truck ($1,500). After five months, a significant leak occurred from one of the coolant reservoirs. I didn't know how much that cost because I had to sell the vehicle after having it for 6 months and driving less than 2k miles. My total was $46,560, and I sold it for $27,500 because it was in such poor condition. Almost $20k in negative equity makes me want to vomit! PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!

Absolutely Horrible Experience with General Manager Jose Diaz at Woodbridge Auto Sales…read more I cannot stress enough how terrible my experience has been dealing with the general manager, Jose Diaz, at Woodbridge Auto Sales. From the moment we purchased our vehicle, it was a downhill journey riddled with deception, hostility, and blatant disregard for customer service. We purchased a vehicle via cashier's check and were led to believe everything was in order, including receiving the title. However, we later discovered--only after attempting to register the vehicle--that they had retained the title without notifying us. This critical detail was never disclosed at the time of purchase. The only explanation given later was that they wanted to "make sure the check cleared." While we understand financial precautions, it is completely unacceptable that we were not told this upfront. After three weeks of calling, following up, and trying to get clarity, we finally got through to Jose Diaz. Instead of an apology or even a solution-oriented conversation, we were met with confrontation, defensiveness, and finger-pointing. He coldly told us that they would "get it to us when they get to it." No empathy. No urgency. Just blatant disrespect. We even asked if they would cover a same-day courier service to receive the title due to the urgent need to register the vehicle. Jose Diaz refused and said it would be delivered the next day instead. When we followed up the following day to confirm, we were told by the administrator that the title was only just being sent out that day--meaning Jose Diaz had blatantly lied with no regard for his word or ethics. This level of dishonesty is completely unacceptable for someone in a leadership role. Despite all this, I want to acknowledge the one bright spot in this entire ordeal: Mary Lou, an administrator at Woodbridge Auto Sales. She was the only professional and courteous person we encountered. She apologized for the inconvenience and actively worked to resolve the issue. She offered to make things right by ensuring the title would be sent out immediately and even offered to renew our temporary registration if needed due to their delays and errors. Her integrity and willingness to help were the only reason we were able to make any progress. When I asked Jose Diaz for the owner's contact information to escalate the matter, he arrogantly told me that he was "as far as it goes" and refused to provide any names. Thankfully, after speaking with my attorney, we were able to identify the owner as Chady Nasr, and we are now pursuing a negligence claim due to the mishandling of the transaction and the unprofessional conduct we experienced. If you are considering doing business with Woodbridge Auto Sales, especially under the management of Jose Diaz, I strongly advise you to think twice. He is hostile, unprofessional, and lacks the basic skills and ethics required for leadership. The experience has been nothing short of exhausting, and no one should have to go through what we did just to get the documentation for a vehicle they legally purchased. Avoid this place at all costs if Jose Diaz is your point of contact. If you do end up there, I hope you're fortunate enough to work with Mary Lou instead.
