Mrs Heather has the patience of a Saint. She is kind and my kid is very fond of her. Nothing bad to say prices are fair and she is flexible. My child has been taking piano lessons at this school for two years and she loves it. It's a group setting and all the kids attending seem to have good time there. The piano teacher is Mrs. Heather and she is very experienced in working with children. They all respond to her very positively and she knows how to build rapport with them. I have yet to see a child that doesn't want to go and learn there. I am also amazed about how quickly my child learned to read musical notes. The price is of great value and the children have a chance to showcase their skills at the end of the year at a Holiday Concert. We love this music school. read more

I've been taking private ukulele lessons from David for a year and a half. (He also teaches guitar.) He's nice, genuinely interested in his students learning, and he's patient. He also seems to have students of all ages. Years ago, I took guitar lessons from 2 different teachers for 8 months to a year each and got frustrated because they spent most of the time teaching only fundamentals, learning a chord or scale at a time, and never having anything to "show for it" or make progress more tangible. David seems to take the opposite approach: teaching notes and chords through playing songs. He even takes requests, so if there's a song I'd like to learn, he'll print it out and away we go working on it. Along the way, he teaches the basics, like finger placement, tempo, and how to read music. I'm impressed with how much I've learned and enjoy being able to pick up my ukulele and make music whenever I want. read more

My son has been taking piano lessons in a group setting with Ms. Heather for 3 years now. In those 3 years, he has learned the fundamentals of piano and to love music! Ms. Heather is kind and patient; she also knows how to work with students of all ages and abilities. She makes the classes fun; students don't feel pressure. I will also add that the prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend Patrick's music school for piano or any other instrument they teach including voice lessons. I could not in good conscience recommending this place to my friends and family. We have been taking piano lessons there but the instructor is always late or on vacation. I understand Covid has really made things difficult for a lot of businesses these days but I really was disappointed with how this business was non existent to phone calls and contact. They offered a summer session on their website which I called week after week for more information and never received any calls back. The ad was vague, and even when the summer session began I made a call and nobody answered or returned my calls. It's just too unreliable for me. I could pardon them for the summer and say it's because they were on vacation but at least respond to the answering machine when you are finally back in session. Not sure why that's so hard when you are operating a business and makes me question how properly you are running things. read more

I highly recommend this music school. My son is autistic ( level 2) and Ms. Heather has been his instructor for years. Her piano class is fun, powerful and stress-free. My boy started at 4 yrs old, when he still couldn't talk, but it was Ms. Heather's class that opened him up. He was gradually able to join the group, perform on stage, and follow instructions to practice at home...this class has given him a lot of confidence and social opportunities. I truly feel that the weekly group piano class taught by Ms. Heather started his overall improvement. Ms. Heather is professional in both piano and general education. She is patient, attentive and loves kids, even the ones with special needs. My son is very lucky to learn from her after trying many different piano classes nearby. He is now 8 and able to perform piano in school talent shows lol. I'm glad people see him differently due to his piano skills. Surprised more people haven't left a review. My 6 year old son has been taking piano classes with Ms. Heather for 3 months now and he loves it. Her approach is great, keeps them calm, interested, and it's all so much fun. I took piano growing up and was eventually turned off by the pressure with both my instructor and parents, Ms. Heather understands that frustration can lead to a child quickly becoming uninterested and that's what I love about her, she understands what's needed with my son. I signed my son up originally through the City of Fullerton programs, which set us up with Patrick's Music School for 6 weeks of lessons with other children (like a classroom), from there you can choose to continue (which we did). It's a good gauge on whether or not it's something your child might want to do. The classroom environment helps with the younger children to stay engaged with the lesson. They're now beginning to play both Treble and Bass clef notes at the same time, can't wait to see how much more he develops. read more

My daughter's have been taking lesson's with Ms. Lisa for well over 10 years now. They both started when they were two years old (now 11 and almost 13). Ms. Lisa has been a great fit for them at every age and stage of development. She challenges them in positive ways, but also allows them to develop at a pace that is comfortable for them. After 10+ years of working with her, both of my girl's LOVE playing the piano (so much so that sometimes I have to ask them to QUIT practicing so that they can get their homework done!). Ms. Lisa is an incredibly talented pianist and instructor, and she cares very much about the kid's she teaches (as well as their families). My son has taken piano there... although the teaching is good it is VERY inconsistent. 30 minute paid lessons somehow turns into 20. They are CONSTANTLY late and inconsiderate of your time. They Preach commitment yet they can NOT uphold their part. It's very disappointing and very unprofessional. LOOK somewhere else before you throw away your money here and save your kids and yourself the huge disappointment they deliver. That's the only thing they are consistent about. read more
