I'm going to review this for my husband since he's not a big Yelper but has been getting his hair cut here since we first moved down almost two years ago. He found the place on Yelp and has been very pleased with every cut since his first visit, and I'm sort of ashamed to say he gets way more compliments on his hair than I get on mine! Seriously, men and women just randomly comment on what a great haircut he has, even other hair stylists. I believe he pays $12-$15 including tip for each cut and he told me that recently this shop is open on Sundays too. Oh, and if you like soccer you'll have plenty to watch and talk about here. Bring cash, friends. read more

Great place amazing prices. Jason was great he cut both of my son's hair I'll be coming here from now on.

Amazing service, Jason is the BEST! Definitely recommend! We're definitely making this location our new go-to for haircuts. He did an excellent job on my fiance's beard too! read more

I got a completely different haircut than the one I came in with. I do not think it is a coincidence that I now look like a retired Navy petty officer. But it is low care and took little time. It is next door to Cajon Pass Deli which makes fantastic sandwiches. read more

I really wanted to like this place since it was so close to my house. It stays open late, and open on weekends! The missing element was if this place was any good or not. I had passed this place plenty of times and was always empty. I explained how I wanted my haircut and showed previous photos of my haircut has been and asked him to cut it similarly. Once I was turned around and saw the outcome I asked if he can bring in the sides a little more so that was definitely not a fade. The barber replied with... "It's already faded" Regardless if it was or not and the customer is making an additional request it is your job as the service provider to render said service. I did not bother to argue so I just said ok and still provided a $5 tip for a total of $20. Once I got home I fixed the weed whacker job as best I could since I was preparing for a trip. Needless to say I will not be returning. If you want to know what to expect when you ask for a "fade" see my posted photos. Enjoy! read more

I've been getting my hair cut here for over 10 years, and Jason (owner and barber) has never disappointed.

Jason, the barber and the owner, did a great job on my hair. He's friendly and skilled. It's refreshing to get a haircut that I actually like. I live in Los Angeles but will definitely make the drive down to get my hair cut by Jason again. read more

Wow! My husband just had hair cut by Jason yesterday. I'm impressed!!! First time coming to this barber shop.

I didn't get my hair cut, but went with a friend who did. Being from out of town, we used yelp to help find the closet place for an easy cut. The guy, wish I could remember his name, was Very nice and friendly. Did a good quick job! The hair cut was jus a simple one but my friend is very particular. So from my standpoint I guess you could say that they did a really good job, because he was satisfied. read more

I have been going to this place over a year now. I go to Joseph, hes the best! I used to pay for 25 a hair cut, and I go here I pay 10 bucks and he uses a razor to line you up! which is worth it! I recommend this place! Go to Joseph hes the best!! read more

Patrick's barber shop has always done a great job on the last pieces of hair left on my head... Seriously though, these guys are great! The minute you go inside the folks that work there treat you like family and have always been friendly. Hair cuts are usually speedy and great looking. Not only that, but they are one of the few places that continue to finish up the job with a straight razor around the edges which is an added plus! Highly recommended, great prices, atmosphere! P.S. See Joseph, he's a great guy! read more

Came here 8 years ago had to wait for an hour one time the jerk getting a touch up didn't want a lot taken off, barber did a good job. Jerk didn't like the look, then wanted a little trim, then a box cut in the back. Didn't like that either so got a fade...got to say it the barber was so far beyond being patient......I was about to give the guy a buzz haircut myself then when he's done....are you ready for this pulls out a credit cardsigns all over CASH ONLY. I love this place great service usually walk in get a fantastic haircut pay cash with tip. Stop saying it's a cheap haircut, if you want to pay more just leave a bigger tip read more

Patrick's Hair Cuts - Barbers Near Me - El Cajon, California

This shop has a great laid back atmosphere, and the barbers is extremely personable and talented. They offer everything from haircuts to shaves and beard trimming, and also have a cool collection of men's grooming products you can check out. read more

My girlfriend recently went in there for a haircut which does look good by the way but she could have done without the crotch being pressed against her ass while she was looking around!!! Or the inappropriate pick up lines I know guys will be guys but there's a time and place and professionalism. So the location is great just don't go alone. read more

I've been going here for some months now and haven't had a bad cut. They're simple, quick and cheap. $10 gets a guy a good haircut and even a straight-razor trim; definitely a touch that other barber shops don't have. The only downside is that they don't accept credit cards, so I make sure to get cash before going. Still, that's a minor thing considering that these guys deliver on every other aspect. read more

I am a very picky person when it comes to getting my haircut... This place did an awesome job!! The barbers here are really nice and easy to get along with, they are constantly trying to talk to you so u dont get bored. It is a great atmosphere! They do a great job in the haircuts too! I got exactly what i wanted!! I went to this place because of yelp and im glad i did! Highly recommended!! read more

The first time my 17 year old son went to Patrick's, he came home with basically a 'high and tight' look. He said it was shorter than he asked for but oh well, it will grow back. Be Very Clear about what to cut and what to leave. He has been a number of times now, and it's always a wee bit shorter than he hoped, but so well trimmed and precise it's hard to complain too loudly, especially for the price. Cash only, by the way. read more

Needed a new barber shop since I moved to a new area. These guys are less then a mile away so I decided to give them a try according the good reviews. It didn't seem like things were going to go too well at first but I was wrong when it came to the finished product. He cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. .5 shaved haircut against the grain, even all around and a razors edge, a real razor edge. I'll be going back for sure. read more

I've lived in Santee for over 2 years and am in the military. I have been looking for a decent place to get my hair cut since I've been here. That search ended today. Patricks is exactly what you want in a "military" style barber. They are courteous, they know how to cut hair, fades are great, and if you don't feel like small talk you can sit and enjoy the silence. I will be a repeat customer! read more

Went there today after the yelp recommendation, and my regular haircut girl is closed on monday. Was very pleased, clean looking, spent alot of time on it, I could tell by watching the guy in the chair next to me that they knew what they were doing. AND if you are over the big 60, you get a ten dollar haircut for eight bucks.. can't beat that. I'll be back. read more

I've only ever gone the second chair so this is solely based off of him. He is awesome, I just go in to get my head shaved, but he never leaves any stray hair. The edges are always perfect even going so far as to use the straight razor to get everything exact. I tried a straight razor shave once and while my skin wasn't having it, it was done spectacularly. If you need a barber, you should totally go here. read more

I have been here maybe 4 to 5 times and can say nothing bad about this place. I have received the best haircut every time I've come in. Yes, I go home and finish it with hair gel, and my hair looks really good-My opinion. I would and Have told my friends about Patrick's Hair cuts because I am so impressed. The price is low but quality is high1 Glad to post this for this place and glad I found it ---and will keep on going back...Randy read more

My son goes in here & gets his hair cut & sometimes a straight razor shave. They do an awesome job. He refers all of his friends here. They are very good with ethnic hair & do very good tight lines! I highly recommend this place. read more

Great cut and excellent prices. Only complaint is cash only but worth the trip to an ATM.

Been goin here for a few years and I love it, best hair cut and customer service around.

Igot a haircut here two weeks ago and the only reason I came here was because it was open early and it was an emergency. If I didn't need to I Most definitely wouldn't of. My first and only experience was extremely unprofessional. I came in for a haircut not to get molested. As I Was showing the guy how I wanted my haircut he dared to put his hand on my waist and put his crotch on my behind. I have never in my life felt so violated in my life once I told him he stopped and I Still needed my hair once he was done he started massaging my neck and I Told him stop i'm done! he kept telling me if you need anything come after six when i'm not busy. are you kidding me. who tells a person that after they have told you multiple times to stop. the hair cut was good but i will never be coming back. and if your a girl who has short hair cuts that need a barber be careful if you come here . read more

This place is the best if you're looking for a man's haircut. I was an Army infantryman, and kind of got used to keeping my hair short and skinned, and bit, I haven't found a place that can do my hasty l hair like those Ft. Campbell barbers. I've been coming here fit about six years now; Patrick was my original barber, and you could just tell the man cared greatly that his customer was more than satisfied with the way they looked when he was done. Patron hasn't been around for awhile, so Jason became my de facto barber about three years ago, and he's just as good. He totally respects your mood, whether you feel like being chatty or not, and he always has something entertaining on their big screen HDTV. All in all, there bit a barber shop in East County, prolly all of San Diego county as well. If you want a great haircut, and maybe even a hot shave, this is far and away the best place to go. On top of everything else, they're not too pricey, just $10 fur a haircut. Let's see any chain place (Sport Clips, Supercuts, etc.) match that! I hope Jason stays around for years to come, for as long as i have hair in my head, this is my resident haircut. read more

Patrick's Hair Cuts - Barbers Near Me - El Cajon, California

I tried this place out last week for the first time. The location is near my office and I drive by daily. This will be my last visit. The haircut was decent, but the straight razor he used to shave my neck left a rash that I've had for a week now. Bottom line, they need to clean their equipment. Completely Gross!! I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Wonderful experience!! I took my two baby boys here and Jason was amazing with them. Best haircuts they've ever had, and I'm extremely picky. Loved it!! read more
