We are celebrating my 34th birthday early!!!

Christina has been our bartender for the past 2 day and can I just say, YAAAASSS!!! We have had a great time watching the astros game! Christina directed us as to where we could grab some great food to go and bring it in to eat it at the bar! Highly recommended from 2 current out of town bartenders.

Last stop at the end of a long night but I wish it would've been a first. There was nothing particularly exciting going on but it had a cool vibe and was most comfortable for us than any other bar on the strand. Bartenders were prompt and friendly. Drinks were reasonably priced and they had Corona on tap which is extremely rare. Local hangout for sure.

Smells Horrible, wouldn't recommend at all. Beer tasted old and not cold. Will not return.

We have ben a total of 3 time THIS YEAR already and we are super impressed with the seating, the service (thanks to McClane, Allen, and Cameron), the TVs all around, the prices, and now the food! (the hotdog photo was taken after I cut a piece off for my friend to try. The burger photo was taken after my friend dug in. Too good to wait! Next time we will try the breakfast!!! 1/3/2026: We really like this place! I see it being a spot for spring coming up. Abundance of TVs, 2 patio sections with TVs, great inside seating with booths, high tops, and a bar top. Draven was a great server. He kept the drinks coming for our 4 top group. We only had drinks that night, but they have a full menu that I must try, including breakfast! I was super impressed with everything I saw and experienced. $50 (before tip) for 7 glasses of wine between my friend and me. That's fantastic! This used to be a BBQ place before they moved in. It is a little farther west away from all the super busy beach places. I prefer that. I think we found a winner! Seems like it could be a locals place, but having a beach house in the area, I'd say that classifies me as a local. :) We will be back, Draven! Thanks for the impressive service!!

They have Tombstone (top 25 movie of all time in my book (leave me alone)) playing on repeat on various TVs in the restaurant. That's pretty legendary! I'd go as far to say that it made my entire week (and I have had a great week thank you very much). The Good- Service was great and attentive! Daphne at the bar was super sweet and proactive in refilling drinks and getting food out on time! Also, the portions are ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE! I've never seen anything like it in my life at a restaurant. The amount food per dollar is definitely worth it. THE MID- I've seen a lot of reviews on how the food is fantastic. This is simply not true. Whatever those people were on writing those reviews... I want some of that! Seriously though, the food tasted like frozen food (I CANT PROVE THAT), and if it's not, then at best, it is seriously bland. When calling a friend later that night, I recall touting the restaurant as "The Target Version of Applebees". It's definitely better than an Applebees or Chilis... but not by much. In short... if I was rating on food alone... 2.5-3 stars. But the atmosphere and the omnipresent Tombstone on the TV cranks this place up to a 4. I won't be back, but it was 1000% worth it to go once.

We discovered it through Galveston Restaurant Week. They offered three course meals so diners could get a feel for what they offer. The portion sizes are insane. I never finish my meal, always take it to-go. You'll never leave hungry. Service is always warm and friendly. Our waiter, Aaron on our first visit was an absolute character. He kept the jokes coming. The shrimp Mickey was amazing and an unexpected flavor. I was expecting something closer to scampi flavor but it had way more depth. The dipping bread was also spectacular! The artichoke dip had huge chunks of artichoke in it so they did not skimp! Chilled shrimp was nice and fresh! My older kids didn't love the calamari but I think they were just overwhelmed by the tomatoes. The creamy tomato sauce that came with it was so delicious I would buy it jarred! My youngest reported loving the sliders and the fresh fruit cup was good fruit not cheap fruit. The sole reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the hostess humiliated my oldest, albeit unintentionally. He has a brain issue and is small. When I tried to give him an adult menu the hostess was questioning him on his age and was visibly surprised he is a teenager. I tried to shut her up but it ruined the experience for him bc he doesn't want to discuss medical info to make people stop talking. I could see if I were trying to get an older child a cheaper kid's meal but that wasn't the case. I think she just needs better training to not grill people. Just let them eat. The waitress was amazing and the bartender made the drinks PERFECTLY!
