Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. He came with a workman, Nazario, in a couple days who did the patches - expertly and even redid one that I hadn't noticed where the A/C company (a big name that I won't mention) did a bad job on. Benjamin then came two days later with a second workman, Santiago, who did the fogging on the patches. Benjamin was here in person for both days both at the beginning and at the end of the job. He is a good communicator. He said that no job is too small which is good to hear because we all have small fixes that need doing. He started as a handyman and now has his contractor's license, so he can do about anything. Both Santiago and Nazario did near perfect work as far as I can tell. The kitchen and primary bathroom were the biggest transformations, but the new staircase and tile work on the risers are probably what grab you first when you walk into the house. The quality of the finished work really shows. Austin was an excellent project manager and had a lot to coordinate on a pretty involved project across multiple trades. Tabo and others did excellent plumbing work, including some fairly complicated changes with our Brizo shower and bath fixtures. Armando and others handled the electrical work, including getting our Lutron Caseta lighting set up throughout the house. Ivan and Juan Carlos did beautiful, artistic tile and masonry work, including the fireplace, which is one of the highlights of the remodel. Dakota did expert fabrication and installation of our Taj Mahal quartzite and large-format porcelain slabs, and Damian and David built and stained a beautiful new staircase that completely changed the entrance to our home. The tile work, stairs, fireplace, plumbing, and stonework are all areas where the craftsmanship really stands out. Austin was always kind, patient, and positive, even when there were problems to work through. His personality is honestly tailor-made for project management, and he was good at pushing things in the right direction without creating unnecessary drama. There were a few points where things were moving slower than expected and I reached out to the owner to help grease the skids, which helped get things moving again. Austin was also very good about addressing things he knew bothered us, no matter how small. The biggest area for improvement was the schedule. The project took a bit longer than we expected, and for a project this involved, I think more realistic milestones and completion targets could have been established up front and updated along the way. There were stretches where we were guessing when certain things would actually be finished. My advice to anyone starting a large remodel would be to ask a lot of questions about the schedule at the beginning, get realistic milestones clearly defined, and then be patient. Having worked with other contractors in the past, we know some of this is just part of remodeling, and I think TNT managed it much better than others we've worked with before. That said, remodeling is ultimately about what you're left with when everyone is gone, and we're extremely happy with what TNT built for us. The workmanship made it worth the wait, and we would absolutely recommend them to someone who puts quality ahead of rushing through a job. I'd much prefer the former than the latter!

When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from.
