I thought it was a scam as I had received nothing from summit funding telling me that they had sold my loan. When I reached out to Lisa to find out if my loan had been sold or not she told me she no longer worked for the company. Mr. Cooper is tearable. Can't even talk to a real person there. Very unhappy.

Great sales in the beginning, but poor communication and no follow through once they get you. I started a potential refi in January of 2021, and was clowning around with these brokers until September 2021 - 9 months of empty promises, changing rates and disclosures, to finally having to go to a different lender. I note that from start to finish with the new lender, I closed within 30 days! Getting tied up with this company probably cost me upwards of $10,000 because of the lost interest savings. They are filled with empty promises, and they never get back to you on time. I would strongly suggest that anyone looking to get a mortgage or refinance use another mortgage broker, lender, or at least keep a parallel application going so you don't have start over and lose all of the time and money that I did. Very frustrating.
