The beach is just right through the sea grapes hedge and the beach is gorgeous! You never find any trash left on the beach and everyone picks up after themselves. People are able to surf out there. Lots of families and lifeguards on duty. Prices are reasonable and you get a veteran discount. On some things, souvenir items, they're a little expensive because this is a tourist town. You can watch the huge cruise ships leave port from the campground. You can ride in a helicopter. There airplane tours. There is always a cool breeze by the temperature of the water and it always is a bit windy, which makes it very pleasant. We will continue to come here year after year as our 30+ camping partners will do and have done for many years. It's peaceful, no one is ever loud or disrespectful. The staff members are very helpful and nice. They have two new gift shops, fully stocked with things you might need. Grocery stores are nearby too. We had lunch at the campground. The food was good, just a bit dry. The deco is great too. And, we were lucky enough to watch an awesome launch of Elon's rockets going up! I'll load a few short videos if possible. Our group of campers highly recommend Jetty Park campground and we will definitely continue to come back.

For a KOA, we were more than a little disappointed. The proximity to I 95 offers a nice stopover…read morefor travelers however, beyond that there's not much in the immediate area (both the national seashore and Kennedy space Center are a bit of a drive). The reception area offers very limited convenience items, and while the folks that greeted at the front desk were nice, they were clearly sick and unmasked (coughing in customers faces) and no sign of a yellow KOA shirt to identify personnel. From our perspective, we're starting to see that many of these campgrounds have stopped catering to the short term camper/travelers that are not in 40+ foot self-contained rigs ( ie not using centralized amenities). The trailer or camper parking spaces are concrete which is a plus and include a nice picnic table and barbecue grill. Cabins and tent Camping on the grass is also available in the park. Cable hook up is also available. The electric and water were in good working order at our site. Some spaces are a little larger and offer fire pits for an additional fee. The reason we cannot give them a higher rating, is the condition of the bathrooms and general security surrounding the Campground. While the large bathrooms have key code door locks, they were inoperable most of the time, and there is nothing (fence, gate, security guard) to prevent outside traffic and foot traffic from entering the campground. We observed Campground outsiders/transients utilizing bathrooms and laundry facilities unchecked. The showers were spacious enough in the central facility, but temperature regulation (ice cold or scalding hot) and/or water pressure was nonexistent with hot water not available in several of the shower stalls. The ladies handicapped bathroom door lock was broken. Bathrooms available by the poolside are open to the public, not clean, and the men's bathroom door appeared to have been kicked in and gone unrepaired for some period of time. These were reported to the front desk, but nothing had been done before we left. The entire facility needs a once over on the maintenance side and a good cleanup. There is no garbage pick up service at the individual campsites that is typically found at other KOAs. All trash must be hauled to the front entry of the campground. I would say that this location is OK if you're looking for a night or two stop on a journey , or for someone who has their own rig and does not plan on using the central bathrooms, beyond that I would suggest you consider alternative options. This location is not a standard representation of the KOA brand.

Noise Level: yes I can hear the traffic from the interstate traffic when my air conditions aren't running so I'm sure if you're in a tent or in a cabin it could be somewhat annoying. Much of the noise I noticed was the sound of kids running on the play ground screaming with laughter or splashing in the pool - this wasn't so annoying to me, it actually reminded me of my childhood when I spent countless weekends camping with my family. If I wanted total silence I guess I'd find a deserted beach or boon-dock in some remote wilderness area, those are amazing moments too but not the norm at a family camp ground so set reasonable expectations and you may look at this place differently. Accommodations: Tent Camping - Cabins - Back-in or Pull-through sites for practically any size Motor-Coach or Camper. I paid under $100.00 for a premium site for my 38' Coach with all the hook-ups (50 Amp Electrical Service, Water, Dual Sewer Connections and Cable) from Saturday at 12:00 PM until Monday at 12:00 PM - they have a store, they have a laundry facility, showers and bathrooms if you need them. They have a playground for the kids and a giant pool. Most of the sites are shady and concrete, with a picnic table and are nicely landscaped. There are plenty of trash bins next to the office and they even have a clothing donation kiosk if you are feeling charitable. What could be better: The roads are paved, gravel or dirt depending on where your site is - the roads are narrow and the turns are tight (you may want to unhook the toad before going to your site) your guide will meet you at check-in and take you to your site, my guide was Eric he stayed until I parked and he explained the hook-ups. Your neighbors may be a little close but all I encountered were friendly. Wildlife and Domestic Animals: I met a few friendly squirrels and noticed one cat that seemed to be friendly - I didn't encounter any feral cats or barking dogs. I did encounter a small lizard but he was friendly too. All in all no complaints here...

We're pretty easy to please when it comes to RV parks (we're full timers and have seen many a park) but my gosh, this one is a huge disappointment unfortunately. Mostly due to the rates! We have a 42 foot RV towing a Jeep Grand Cherokee and we couldn't even begin to fit in the site that was supposed to be 100 feet long. Utilities are at the very backend of the sites so no parking the car back there. The park is pretty run down with a mishmash of mostly older RVs and park models with a lot of junk in some the yards. Not that I mind that but the kicker is that a nightly stay here is $94! They do not have WiFi or cable, which we don't need but others might want to know that. Interior toad are very narrow and the sites are paved with gravel. The overnighter park we stayed at in Lake City last night was about the same caliber for $29. That's about how much I would expect to pay for this one. We're here for 2 nights and will be fine but my goodness, the cost! I guess is what gets my goat. Not too much competition for them on the Space Coast as RV parks are few and far between here so I guess they have a corner on the market. I don't normally write reviews unless I'm really happy with a park or really disappointed. I've been disappointed a very few times. Guess this is one of them, darn it!

The staff and seasonal full-timers here were very friendly. The resort suffered flooding from Hurricane Irma, but they are on the road to recovery. The main office has been repair, painted and has new flooring. The activity center is still out of commission and may be a total loss due to having over 4' of water inside. To make up they are using the dining room area for activities and have a large tent room set up for other activities. They have community meals at least weekly and various groups meet for card games. The heated pool is clean is a nice place to hang out. There are two laundry facilities with plenty of washers and dryers in clean, good-working condition. The private shower rooms are clean and there are several available. There are a couple of small ponds which provide a place for the ducks to hang out and are a pleasant place to walk dogs. If you like shuffleboard, they have four courses and there are horseshoe pits near the community kitchen/dining area. There are no tennis or pickleball courts or a playground. The desk clerk told me this resort has been here since the 60's and many guests have been wintering here for many years. It's very clean and although there are many long-term and full-time RVers here, the resort is neat and well-maintained. New electric panels are being installed throughout the resort. Many of the fences are new and there's a lot of fresh paint after the storm cleanup. Some of the pads could use more gravel and there are not picnic tables at each site. Short-term sites are mixed in with the long-term and park model sites, but there is a large section at the entrance that had only motor coaches and tow behinds. There is very good internet service available for a reasonable fee (we paid $10 for 3 days). The location is central to many attractions - Cocoa Beach, Kennedy Space Center, Orlando, and a couple Grapefruit League spring training ball parks. We enjoyed a day at KSC and watched an Atlas launch of a NASA Satellite. We went to Port St Lucie and saw the Mets & Nationals play in a beautiful little ball park. Plenty of shopping, restaurants and other services are nearby. We found a nice kennel nearby (Cocoa Kennels) where we left our dog and cat for grooming and boarding one night. I'll review it separately.

We reserved a site with water access. Our site easily fit two large tents, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. The bathrooms were as clean as a campground bathroom can be, but the shower water pressure could definitely use some improvement. There's also a small store right at the entrance, which was handy for grabbing snacks or ice. Our only real issue was with the check-in process. We arrived after sunset and, despite waiting twice, there was no one in the front office. Since we'd already paid online, we decided to head to our site and set up. The next morning, we tried again, but still no one was around. Eventually, we flagged down a staff member who was not very welcoming and came off as rude when we asked to check in. Having someone available at the front office, especially after dark, would make the experience smoother for guests.

The prices are pretty reasonable, about $50 a site for water and electric with a firepit and table at each site. The view is beautiful and we almost always see dolphins and manatees swim by. We usually book our site a year in advance but they recently changed the policy that non-residents can only book 6 months out so we will probably have a little more trouble getting a site. There is not a lot of shade so it can pretty hot and the mosquitos and noseeuns can be very intense even during the day. I ran my thermocells almost non stop this trip. But the view makes it worth it. And no visit to longpoint is complete without a stop at the store at the entrance to get the super delicious fish dip. It's a little pricey but yummy!
