What a great campground especially with resident pricing. Many sites on the water with fire pit and ramp to water on your site. The fire pit had a grille on top so you could cook right over the campfire Our site had water and electric. The sites are double a normal campsite size. There's a playground and pond bathrooms were clean. You can also bring your golf cart. I loved the electric hookup receptacles

Tons of beautiful sites here but not ours. Site # 10. No bueno. Totally on a slant. No level ground to be had on our site. They never answer the phone or return messages. Perhaps you could fix the screen door in the restroom.

My husband and I somehow got super lucky and scored an amazing spot here for two nights on thanksgiving week. Most all of the spots are right on the water with the exception of the middle field spots. Check-in was quick and easy and the campsite was well maintained. They had 3 bathrooms onsite, a playground, boat docks, and several open fields to play frisbee or kickball. Most everyone had a boat or kayaks and majority of the guests stayed in campers while others stayed in tents. Our truck bed tent was one of it's kind this trip. Fishing was great as my husband and I both had luck right off our lot. We also faced the beautiful sunset in spot #63 and saw lots of dolphins over the course of our stay. The lots each have their own hookup to water and electricity so bring a hose and extension cord for your stay. We will definitely be back!

We took our NEW 1990 motorhome here the day we picked it up and slept in it that night. This is a really beautiful spot right on the water. All the campers and staff we encountered were very friendly. All sites have water and 3 electric choices in a nice tower with a light on top. Many sites allow you to put your small boat or SUP in and out directly and there's also a ramp for bigger boats with motors. Not a ton of shade as this is a barrier island. All facilities seem to be nicely kept up. At the entrance to the park there's a general store and bait/tackle shop and a cute restaurant that sells souvenirs too. This is a Brevard County Park. If you want to book a weekend night, especially during the high season, you have to book Friday and Saturday. You'll find BIG rigs here all the way down to ultra light tents. There's a playground for the kids, each site has a fire ring, and there's a big picnic shelter too. The front gate is locked at night for security but all campers receive a combination lock code. Can't wait to go back and stay longer!

This campground is a few miles north of Sebastian Inlet State Park. The park is very big with a lot of sites. There are a few camp sites that have an amazing view of the bay. This campground is actually a island so even in the hotter months you get a nice breeze, hot breeze but hey, at least it is a breeze. Pros: 1. Some water front camping available. 2. Boat launch. 3. Swimming in the bay. 4. Playground. 5. Clean restrooms and showers. 6. Fishing in the area. 7. Most sites are grass, little dirt. Cons: 1. Small sites, smaller than average camp sites. 2. Absolutely no shade, summer months a fan is a must! This park would be perfect if it had more trees! Otherwise this parks makes a great get away for those who like camping near water. While not on site, roughly a mile away is a small bait and tackle store so anything you forget you can pick up there.

This is one of my favorite campground not the nicest but we seem to have the best time when we come here. My kids are able to play in the water the entire day campsite is literally on the water kayaking and fishing is awesome!!!

Best campground for the price. Neat areas, kids playground, clean restrooms, waterfront sites, great views and friendly staff.

Nice park surrounded by the river and ocean. Staff is very accommodating. There are no dump stations on sites, but can dump on the way out.

Vero Beach is close by as well. It is soothing calming & quiet here, every once in a while a plane flies over & parachuters exits the plane & you see the chutes open & colorful. There Is a dock where you can look over the water. I believe there is also a hiking trail. Here you may see some wildlife such as the agressive racoon, the timid squirrel, noisy armadillo, lots of birds chirping away, if you're lucky you might get to see a venomous snake however you're most likely to see black racers and corn snakes. Now you might think the agressive racoon is cute and cuddly animal but don't you dare try to pet him cuddle him or feed him. As a matter of fact the raccoons will show up your campsite during daylight hours but don't be fooled, this is a reconnaissance mission. Once everyone goes to bed, they come back. They revisit the sites that had the best goodies. They will open your coolers and go through your trash.

The beach is just right through the sea grapes hedge and the beach is gorgeous! You never find any trash left on the beach and everyone picks up after themselves. People are able to surf out there. Lots of families and lifeguards on duty. Prices are reasonable and you get a veteran discount. On some things, souvenir items, they're a little expensive because this is a tourist town. You can watch the huge cruise ships leave port from the campground. You can ride in a helicopter. There airplane tours. There is always a cool breeze by the temperature of the water and it always is a bit windy, which makes it very pleasant. We will continue to come here year after year as our 30+ camping partners will do and have done for many years. It's peaceful, no one is ever loud or disrespectful. The staff members are very helpful and nice. They have two new gift shops, fully stocked with things you might need. Grocery stores are nearby too. We had lunch at the campground. The food was good, just a bit dry. The deco is great too. And, we were lucky enough to watch an awesome launch of Elon's rockets going up! I'll load a few short videos if possible. Our group of campers highly recommend Jetty Park campground and we will definitely continue to come back.

The preserve was created when the state…read moreof Florida bought up large tracts of land in 1995 to preserve the watershed to the St. Sebastian River and the Indian River Lagoon. In addition to protecting the water the land also protects rare and endangered species of plants and animals. The preserve is made up of grassy forests and the long leaf pine that was common before the development of Florida. Here you will find the biological communities of cypress dome, scrubby flat woods, sand hills, and strand swamp. The preserve contains one of Florida's largest populations of scrub jays, a species listed as vulnerable. Many native plants and animals make their home here including over 50 protected species. Animals that can be found here include the red-cockaded woodpecker, Bachman's sparrow, Eastern indigo snakes, bald eagles, wild turkeys, river otters, bobcats, and tortoises. This preserve is part of the Great Florida Birding Trail. Travel in the preserve is along unpaved roads. There is a buffer road that runs along the C-54 canal. In November through March you can find manatees in the canal. There is a platform to view them at the end of the buffer road. The preserve is divided into quadrants by the Fellsmere Canal and by I-95. Each quadrant has long hiking trails. There are over 60 miles of hiking trails through 22,000 acres of wilderness. There is a visitor's center at the entrance that is staffed Friday through Sunday. You can hike, bike, or horseback ride the preserve. From this preserve you can canoe, boat, and fish the St. John's River. There are six primitive camp sites which can only be reached by hiking. Hiking trails include red, yellow, and blue and can be rough because they are also used by horses. Along some of the trails you can see the remains of homesteads from when the land was used for growing citrus, ranching, turpentining, and logging. The preserve contains a portion of the rails to trails path, a hiking and biking trail along the abandoned Trans Florida Central Rail incorporated in 1924. The surface of the trail hasn't been decided on yet and there are few signs marking it. As a sign in the park says this is the real Florida. Photographers, nature lovers, hikers, and equestrians will love exploring this vast open wilderness. Come see Florida the way Mother Nature intended.
