I've been looking for a chiropractic office that wasn't built on gimmicks, and actually paid a little more individual attention to what was going wrong with my body each visit. I think that Dr's Chris and Cynthia have put together a very professional office that works like a well-oiled machine. They obviously care about their clients health more than most (I've been to 5 different chiropractors recently). What I don't like about most chiropractors is an over-reliance on whatever the latest chiropractic tools are out there, and especially when they have a "one-size-fits-all" approach to chiropractic. I'm not saying the tools don't have their uses, but they're all some chiropractors seem to wanna use these days. In my opinion, these guys really understand when to use different methods, and adjust on the fly with whatever your concerns are when you come in. I'm feeling so much better from the stresses of running my business since I started two months ago, that even last night I found it remarkable that I was finally able to take a deep breath in for the first time in forever (the statement sounds absurd until you realize what your body hasn't been able to do for so long). Okay, I am so grateful for Dr. Renee and her practice that I literally made a Yelp account just to…read moregive her a review. I want to start by saying that the receptionists were very friendly and as far as I can tell, most of them (including Dr. Renee) can speak Spanish. The office is open until 8pm, which is wonderful because I work 8-6 on the weekdays and don't have to leave work early to get an adjustment. They have water, coffee, and tea available in the waiting room, though so far I never have had to wait long to get adjusted. Also, I got a new patient special: $20 for the session with x-rays and a free 30 minute massage, which you have to schedule after your first appointment. I had mine this week and it was very relaxing. I came in primarily because I started feeling numbness in my limbs and face for the past few months. No neurologist or MRI could explain why this was happening. I told Dr. Renee what the deal was, she took some X-rays, showed and explained everything she saw in those in X-rays, and then gave me an adjustment. She was VERY approachable and KNOWLEDGEABLE (which I appreciate because it made me trust her a lot more than other healthcare practitioners I was seeing). She was also careful to make sure that I was aware of every adjustment she was about to make before she made it (again, it made me trust her!!). Since that first session, I have not felt any numbness whatsoever. I write this only after my second adjustment the following week and I want to say that being healed of my numb limbs and face has not been the only benefit I have noticed: 1) I stand up straighter without any effort (I suppose this is to be expected, but still feels amazing) 2) When I run, I don't get low back/hip pain any more. I didn't even realize I had that pain until it was gone! 3) Literally just sitting in my car feels more comfortable (driving used to be an immediate trigger for starting to go numb). 4) My right shin has been sore because I walk differently now. My right foot doesn't flare out as much as it used to. 5) I'm making more progress at the gym with my lats and traps. My form is better and I can actually FEEL my back muscles engaged. It's probably pretty dramatic to say this, but I honestly feel that in two short weeks, Dr. Renee has sort of changed my life. I may be a special case and it could be that my back has been extra messed up in my 23 short years of life, but I am SO grateful to feel as amazing as I do now. Thank you, Dr. Renee. Truly. I would also like to address another comment I saw on here regarding the billing. Before signing up for a monthly membership, I was informed that a 30-day notice is required to cancel. I felt that they were very transparent about the pricing and billing. They also give you the option on how often you want to be billed (e.g. weekly, bimonthly, monthly). I got to her practice crippled and limping and my knee was super swollen the size of a cantaloupe. After my 3rd acupuncture session I stopped limping although I couldn't bend my knee 100 % and was still swollen. Well, after 2 weeks of treatments 3x each week I'll be teaching my Zumba class tonight and I couldn't be more excited! I discovered acupunture 7 years ago after I tore my meniscus and ACL and I was told by my doctor only surgery would fix it. Back then I had a Chinese Zumba student who offered to fix it without surgery with acupunture, being skeptical at the beginning I gave it a try. My knee was healed in a month and since then I've been squatting, kneeling, doing weight training, high impact including plyometric jumps, everything! During pandemic my acupuncturist closed and I injured my knee for second time back in October of last year during vacation which led me to find this awesome lady. They use a chiropractic gun, which I also found to be a plus since it seemed to be less traumatic (a gentle approach for my nervous daughter). Both Dr. Cipollo and Dr. Wallace are wonderful and really made sure my daughter felt comfortable. She has improved greatly and looks forward to her visits now. I recently started getting treatments myself. I'm a runner and have been suffering from tightness in my hips, which over time has become painful. I can't believe how out of wack I was. The chiropractic gun they use, in my opinion, is better than the traditional method. I feel like there is an immediate relief and that more pressure in the surrounding areas are released.
