Customer Service representative told me today that an at-home customer service estimate is $495.00 (out of warranty)! I was hoping for a possible small repair for a window that was difficult to close/lock! It was difficult getting through to customer service. When I was finally able to leave messages over the past three weeks, my calls were never returned. Finally spoke to someone after three attempts and it was suggested I send them a photo or video for review to avoid the $495 estimate. I felt too discouraged and disappointed to further pursue them. Fortunately, I found an alternate solution through someone else. Love my patio . . . customer service policy not so much. read more

Please be very careful if considering Patio Enclosures. We had a sunroom installed several years ago. When the roof began to leak, about 5 years ago, they tried to repair. All attempts failed. The last attempt was to seal inside the room, which left iwater continuing to leak inside the roof. So much damage has been done inside the roof that it must be replaced. Patio Enclosures has been non-responsive. We inquired about replacing at our expense. They so no, lifetime warranty. They will take care of it. Then they go no contact and totally ghost. No one will respond to request for service. Do not recommend. read more

well where do I begin. First they delivered the wrong colored windows. Some were scratched and replaced . Then 1 month after installation was completed, a neighbors lawn company kicked up a rock & shattered the bottom window on 3/5/25. it has taken 9 MONTHS, (10/12/25) to get that window replaced. The customer service is the worse. The 'go to person' was the worse ever. He lied to us all the time about the status of the window. Everyone pointed fingers at each other! This had got to be the worse experience i ever had and this includes a custom home we had built ( the builder built another style home on my lot!) The windows are very good but the service is very bad. Also the cruise voucher they gave us is worthless. We threw it away. I paid $15K for a 3-season sunroom/patio enclosure, only to have it leak, twice. It was a challenge to get them out to research / seal a leak; however they eventually did. Then, another leak was discovered (that was there and co-existed with the first leak); however, they will not respond to fixing it. They continue to give me the runaround, stating they'll send someone out, but no one ever calls or shows. No one EVER answers the phone at the main office and they don't return calls. I would never work with them again and regret contracting with this business. read more

I wanted an open deck transformed into a screened-in room for my cat. I signed a contract in June, but the room wasn't finished until mid-October, mainly because of a lack of communication with the city about the permit. I agreed to pay $56,000 on a loan from GreenSky, which I started paying off monthly before the work had even started. Now that the room is finished, so to speak, there are fingerprints all over my white siding, marks on the new Trex floor, a latch that doesn't work, and a rough metal edge inside near the roof line. The workers were very careless about cleaning up after themselves, even leaving some materials in my driveway which I had to throw in my trash. All in all, this was a drawn-out, stressful experience, so I can't recommend this company. read more

Patio Enclosures does NOT stand by its warranty so I advise not using them. In June, I sent, "I had a 3-season room added in the Fall of 2023. The contract is dated 4/28/2023. Now, the patio door does not slide properly and is almost impossible to close. According to the contract, "All balancers, rollers, locks, keepers, wheels and hardware are warranted to operate properly and serve the designed function. Therefore, I believe that a service call is in order. I'd like to get it scheduled asap." I contacted them nearly every month (mom passed in July, so I missed a couple) and the new Columbus manager called me in August, (or September). I followed up with Angie in October and this time they didn't even bother to respond. The door is still broken. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT PURCHASING FROM PATIO ENCLOSURES SINCE THEY ARE CLEARLY NOT RELIABLE. read more

Tried multiple times last fall and again this year to get a screen replaced (at our cost) and no one returns the calls - for service you just leave a message and they "will get back to you at their earliest convenience". I did finally get someone to tell me last fall and say that a service repairman would call to schedule with me but no one ever called. I have left several messages again with no response. Once you purchase their product, KNOW THAT YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN FROM THAT DAY FORWARD!! THEY STINK! GO ELSEWHERE!! read more

Salesman in my opinion was scamming us right from the get go. We just didn't realize we were scammed until later. We feel we were provided with fake numbers to make us choose the single pane windows over the thermo pane windows. We found out neighbor only paid $7k more for their enclosure with Thermo pane windows than we paid with single pane windows and their enclosure was even larger than ours. Our quote for thermo pane windows was about $30k more than the single pane. As far as the installation, I was not impressed with the actual quality of the installation. I had to point out mistakes that were being made during the installation. There were issues with the fabrication of some of the windows and they were later corrected but things that should not have happened with a very simple fabrication project. I have had a leak in the one corner since the installation and the guy tries to seal off the area but that did not work. He came back again and caulked along the entire floor where it meets the enclosure and we still have an issue with it leaking. They are supposed to come back out next week to try and fix it again. Unfortunately, it will be the same guy that has been out twice already for the same issue. He keeps looking for the simple fix but I think it is more involved and he is just trying to avoid a major repair for the company. I would like to see someone else come out and look at it. Hmm, maybe the installation supervisor would be nice or someone in QC. I am actually going to send an email after I complete this review to request that a QC person comes out instead of the repair guy. I want to get this repaired correctly and not half assed like it seems to be getting done. The repair guy that has come out has been nice but there is absolutely no enthusiasm. I may be a little hasty (not) with this review which is why I'm going with two stars and not one. But when you've paid $21,055 for a product and the service to have it installed, you expect not to be kept waiting and wondering about the issues you have with that product . Our main issue is the handles for the three sliding windows. They are at different levels, and not just slightly different. There is more than a foot difference in height between the handles on the two center sliding windows. This is supposed to be a custom fabricated unit, but whoever fabricated the parts did a poor job. There was a lot of cutting and hammering being done to get the pieces to fit. There are some gaps that could allow water to seep in. There are places around the windows where the seal is popping out. There are a lot of scratches and at least one dent in the frame. There is an overall unfinished look to this project. It has been just under one month since the unit was installed. The company already has its money because we chose to go with an 18 month no payment no interest offered by the company through a company called Green Sky. There was one attempt from the company to schedule the drywall portion of their service which we were unable to do because we were out if town on the day they wanted to come out (7/31). I contacted the company but they have not gotten back to me at the time of writing this review (8/18). My issues are not with the two man crew that installed the unit. Someone should have come out and at least looked at the project after installation. That has not happened and I am beginning to wonder if it would even make a difference. We will see. 9/17/20225 Update: On 8/19 I was told that they would have the new parts by 9/13 and be out on 9/15 to install and fix other issues. Have not heard a word. 9/18/2025: Received message from bank indicating they will be communicating with company regarding this project. Will know more in next 24 to 48 hours. I am not sure what happened. We had our patio enclosures done 20 years ago and it was great. Now we need some maintenance done and I can't get them to call me back. After finally reaching them in June and having someone come measure for a glass that broke, I can't get anyone to call back or tell me the status. Although one of the two rooms is awaiting the reinstallation of one window which was a different size than ordered, I can say that the work that is complete is exactly what I wanted. The people with whom I have dealt went above and beyond to please me and make the project fulfill my expectations. They have been professional and patient in meeting the challenges. After reading reviews regarding Patio Enclosures' customer service. I went ahead and scheduled an appointment to get a quote to build a screen-in porch. Big mistake. The representative was asking a lot of personal questions that had nothing to do with the structure/quote. I'll assume he was trying to get information to see if I could afford it. Yes, I can! He says to me "You're seem very guarded with your information. Actually, it's none of your business. Anytime someone starts a sentence with "I don't mean to be disrespectful..." Right! They're about to say something disrespectful. If you have to start off with that sentence, you're really trying to excuse or soften your statement. I spent over twenty years working as a first responder. I'm never surprised with what people say. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted to know the contract, warranty, structure, material, timeframe, etc. However, I sat over an hour to finally get a quote, no, three different quotes. He seemed surprised I was not signing a contract that day. He stated "You'll be surprised, over 90% of people sign the day we come out...." I replied "I'm in the ten percentile." This is an investment over $30K. I'm taking my time. Yes, they build beautiful structures. The representative is a major factor on why I'm going with a local builder. To date, I have not received a follow-up email nor a written quote. His interaction with me validate some of the reviews. read more
