(Everything was cheaper than the dollar store in the same strip mall) The checkout line was like twenty people deep before they opened another register. I was foolish and didn't grab a cart so my arms were literally shaking by the time it was my turn to pay lol. Checkout employee was nice enough and friendly. I could tell they were exhausted from it being so busy. On that note I will also say that I didn't see any employees while I was shopping... so it's a good thing I didn't need any help?

It tends to be pretty busy on the weekends though, so consider that. Additionally, everytime I am here, I find myself waiting in line to check out for quite awhile, they usually seem pretty under staffed in that area. A clean store, the employees are helpful and it is easy to find everything as well. The prices are good, nothing too special or incredible.. but it does get the job done. If you are looking for any sort of home good item.. this is your spot!

After 6 mo the tables showed signs of warping in the wood. We also had weird spots start showing up on the top of the sideboard (it was always covered with a piece of custom glass). Mike the store manager was so understanding and helpful and let me exchange it for a different piece (we did have the extended warranty). Then, we went back and bought another table for our kitchen.We purchased the Oliver. Once it was delivered, it just didn't look right in our kitchen. And when we fully extended it with the leaf, there was large gap in the middle and it was very noticeable.We went into this store within two days and stated we would like to exchange it for something else. Sam was obliged to do so, although we were told we had to pay a 20% stocking fee. We did end up exchanging for a different table at scandinavian design, but we did end up having to pay a $300 restocking fee. Seems excessive especially if you're exchanging becuase of a product your not satisfied with. So my advice is to make sure you ask them to open it if there's a leaf and really, really pay attention to the quality before you bring it home. We will still continue to buy from there.Although I will pay more attention to those aspects.

I didn't fall in love with any of the sofas. Mostly every display was a sectional, and while traditional sofa and loveseat were available for most of the styles... there weren't and models on the floor. I found the person who initially helped me, and they shared that if I need a visual reference they could pull some up (online). Eventually I found 1 modular style, that I liked. DIdn't love, but would do. I saved it for my records, but didn't buy anything in the moment, because I was truly settling. Anyway, although I didn't find anything that I wanted to buy during this trip, I had a good browsing experience and customer assistance from Primus.

Today I made a triple batch of cookie dough. When I went to use the scoop, it wouldn't release the dough. I talked to a gentleman at the store who said I could return it as I was so upset. As I am in Stage III kidney failure, I asked if it was ok if my adult, 36 year old, adult daughter, could return, as I don't like to go out too much because of possible Covid exposure. He told me yes. When she got there, they charged her 20% of the cost...approximately another $3.25. At this price the thing should make the cookies by itself! So, at least $18.25 plus tax now! Talk about a rip off! Too bad I wasn't there myself, because I certainly would have raised hell and Never have paid any more for it! I came in specifically to look at Joybird sofas as they are an authorized retailer and have sofas on the sales floor. Its scary to make an online purchase (and such a large, custom purchase) without touching and feeling an item, so I was thrilled to learn this store was so close to home and had what I was looking to purchase. I had a great time working with Kristin. After countless emails and a couple visits to the store I ordered my sofa, and also ended up with a chair and lamp. Kristin was great to offer her designer opinion while listening to mine and helping me make the big decision based on my existing home design. They offer financing (OAC) and 'white glove' delivery (they take all the packaging stuff with them when they leave, set the item in the room of your choosing) just like Joybird, but they will for other items you purchase there, too. The kicker is the 2 week in home trial period. Keep it for two weeks and if you decide you hate it they will take it back to the store and offer you store credit to replace the item. This really eased my worry about spending 2K on a sofa I may not like as much in person. I can't wait until it arrives! They also have home decor items here, like pillows and lamps. Its a super fun place to just look around and get inspiration, or fall in love with a custom fox lamp which would totally look amazing on your nightstand. I wasn't sure if I could afford it so I had her price out a chair for me it was $1100 but they had a 20% off sale so it would be $880. I'm new to furniture shopshopping so I went to another store later (La-Z-Boy) and it was comparable to that. I walked in at 20 minutes to closing on a Sunday night, but Billie didn't seem rushed at all. I was the one saying "let's just wrap this up. Can you give me something to look at online?" I declined their offered and bluntly told them that I would use more of my time and effort to take them over to my favorite mom-and-pop, non-chain thrift store and give them away for free so that those folks could make some money off of them, part of which will actually go toward helping people who are overcoming drug addiction and other similar situations. I will never again bother to bring anything to sell to any Half Price Books store.
