I read lots of amazing reviews on Mundae and requested a service. They were so responsive and talked me through the process. It wasn't long before someone came out to take several tests that consist of an air sample outside and inside and an actual sample of the mold, and a walk around to see if they spot more mold anywhere else. The report came back quick and scheduling of the mold remediation was quick. 3 workers were sent and it took half a day total since it was just our upstairs that needed it. Everyone we encountered was friendly, kind, and informative. Responsive whether it was text, phone call, or email. Appreciate the speediness in which the issue was resolved and felt very pleased with the service. Also I can report back that since then no more mold has appeared. During the inspection he seemed knowledgeable and confirmed to me that he was licensed in mold remediation. He was very concerned with the state of the house and with our safety being in it. We have VERY high humidity levels, poor air circulation in the home and high moisture readings in almost every wall of the house. We sent the report we received after the inspection to our landlord and they talked price points for the job. The day of the job Cameron was no where to be seen despite texting me at 11:30am to confirm our 2pm appointment and another shortly after said there was an "emergency" at another job location and he would be arriving soon after his partner. At 1:30pm Cameron's partner arrived. The gentleman at the door said he was here to start the processes of covering home items and that Cameron should be there shortly. What he actually did was haphazardly cover about 1/4 of my items with the thinnest painter sheets I've ever seen and stuck it up with blue painters tape. He also took off every single baseboard and put them out on the street. At 4:30pm, after all the baseboards of the house had been remove and put on the street Cameron finally arrived. He was at the property for exactly 30 min. He was supposed to be at the job the entire time, doing follow up readings, carefully inspecting the areas of the house that are behind the baseboards to check for mold and wet wood, ect. Instead, in those 30 min he unloaded his truck of the fans, blowers, and large dehumidifier and set them up in the house. He made a phone call to someone outside at some point, showed me how to use the dehumidifier, and I showed him a couple of areas that were so obviously mold, that him telling me the house was "fine" and "safe" was insane. The house is very small and I was present the entire time during the days process. He never looked at anything. Not a thing. Then just gave it the ok and expected us to blow mold all around the house, us, and our pets for the next 3 days. He lied to me about being licensed in mold remediation and doing a fake mold remediation inspection. Which he wrote a report for water mitigation to the home owners which is his actual license (that's what he back tracked and said at least) BUT if mold was found during the removal of the baseboards he was supposed to stop everything and a new plan of action was supposed to take place. He wasn't here for any of that and didn't bother to look or care. He tried gas lighting me saying that he was at the house the whole time, that him and the other guy covered everything, and he sprayed anti microbial on everything which.... None of that happened. Save your energy, time, health,money, and literally everything inside your home and call a different company. Oh yeah, the guy that was at the house with me for 2 1/2 hours waiting on Cameron to show up, stole money from us as well. They spotted the camera outside but obviously not the ones inside.

I waited 35 minutes before seeing a technician who did testing (the recent eye appointment was a comprehensive one so testing was a repeat) and dilated my eyes. Finally, an hour and a half later (after watching the same video three times), I saw the doctor. He examined my eyes briefly and then continued with the technician's discussion of macular degeneration. After explaining a treatment they are offering, I said I'd like to do more research before considering. Dr. Gonzales then said to follow up in a year. When I realized he was dismissing me without having addressed the reason for my visit, I was stunned. Once I mentioned it, he gave me some information, but I realized that one of the procedures I was hoping to discuss, he doesn't even do! Not only is Dr. Gonzales condescending, he is also unprepared--doesn't come to an appointment ready to discuss why the patient is there! He seemed way more interested in "selling" me a treatment. Unconscionable is the only word I can find to describe the wasted two and a half hours I spent today.

I needed a lot of advice on how to maximize the use of this very small space and Dan really hit the ball out of the park on this project. Besides age, space, and lighting, a big issue we had was that the shower was recessed about 6 inches into the foundation and also had a dropped ceiling. We did not know what, if anything, was inside the drop. Dan found that the dropped ceiling was just empty, unused space and added that back into the shower compartment. He also added a much needed in-shower light. He brought the floor of the shower up to be appropriately level to the floor which was something we really wanted as stepping into and out of that dark, wet 6-inch recess was sometimes treacherous. Dan's excellent planning provided us with about 3 or 4 more inches of much needed counter top space without making the room feel crowded. The very well-made custom cabinetry exceeded my expectations. Dan's use of recessed lighting, a low profile toilet, a custom-made cabinet above the toilet, and the larger tiles with fewer grout lines all contribute to maximizing the use and the feel of the very limited space in this room. The tile work is just beautiful. Every tile was cut and every edge was hand-beveled on-site as needed for a perfect fit and finish. The paint was sprayed so is very smooth and even. And, of course, Dan and his crew repaired and replaced anything they found that was water-damaged behind the walls in this 60 year old bathroom. They cleaned up behind themselves daily. We had a leak from our toilet which we didn't notice until... well too late, as we found that our…read morecabinet had rotten, the flooring ruined, and some of the wall had to be cut out. This happened at the beginning of Covid, and we had postponed fixing this, for when the number of cases were more manageable. After 6 months, we didn't want to wait anymore. Dan Shannon gave us a free estimate for the work (plus changing the flooring in the other bathroom to match as well) and had that scheduled soon after. They called 2 days before we were scheduled to start, asking if they can start a day earlier as someone else cancelled, and we agreed (we aren't going anywhere in this pandemic so why not?). Dan and his crew came by right on the scheduled time. Everyone had their masks on (hurray!). They put on heavy paper across the house so they don't scratch our floors as they worked. They were very respectful to us, our home, and our property as they worked, which we're so grateful as we were around the whole time. We're also very satisfied with their craftsmanship, and would use them again for any future remodeling work. Highly recommended.
