The parking lot placement is a little weird, but there were spots available, but just beware the spots were tight. When I arrived I was quickly greeted. Since I did all the initial paperwork online prior to my appointment, the only thing I needed to do was pay when I arrived. In less than 10 minutes I was taken back by Miranda. She brought me back to a room, let me know what the process would be for the MRI and she also had to do the contrast (I was unaware that I was getting contrast in my arm). She did a great job and it was a quick and almost painless experience. The MRI took about 20 minutes from start to finish. Was it loud? Yes. They did give me headphones, but it doesn't do a great job of draining out the beeps. I was in and out of the entire facility in about 30 minutes.

The wait was a bit long which prolonged my anxiety My name was called and I was led to a room where I had to take off most of my clothes and put on a gown. Then I went across the hall to the MRI exam room. They had put an IV in me as the doctor requested contrast the last five minutes of the MRI. It took a while for technician to get the IV in which was uncomfortable. But I guess any IV is not fun. My friend gave me advice the night before which was to close my eyes before I went inside and keep them closed until I was out. I listened to her advice and it worked. By the time it was over I had relaxed. I was inside the tube for roughly 20 minutes. They were in communication with me through the headphones and checked on me a few times. It was pretty loud and I was hoping for music but that was not an option at this location. I would use this location again. But I hope I don't need to for a long time!

Repeated misinformation from call center scheduling staff, confirmed appointments ignored, with no resolution except another booking on a different date for another 2.5 hour drive each way. The imaging technician at this location was professional and courteous -- this review is about everything else. After a 30-minute call full of contradictory information from call center employees, I was booked for two upright MRI appointments at the Gate Parkway location and drove 2.5 hours from Savannah, GA to attend them. On arrival, I learned the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright MRI -- the specific equipment I had explicitly requested and been confirmed for. The resolution was to rebook me for a later date, meaning two round trips of 100+ miles each way for a single appointment. The scheduling failures, in sequence: Doctors in Savannah, GA, sent scripts for two MRI examinations -- one of the cervical spine and one of the right shoulder. When I called to book, the representatives could not locate the scripts, then found one, then claimed they found two but that both were duplicates until the realized the scripts were distinct. This consumed the first portion of a 30-minute call. I made one requirement explicit throughout: both MRIs had to be in an upright machine, as pain prevents me from lying motionless in a horizontal unit. I was first told neither the Gate Parkway nor the Mandarin locations had an upright MRI. When I said I would cancel, I was then told Gate Parkway did have a UPRIGHT MRI. I was then told back-to-back same-day appointments were impossible -- only to be told they were possible, and they were booked. At this point of my exchange with the call center employees, we have four contradictory answers regarding equipment availability and four more regarding scheduling. You may wonder, why didn't I call locations directly and avoid the call center fiasco. I did. My calls were rerouted to the call center. Following the booking, I completed all required pre-appointment steps: uploaded my ID and insurance cards, filled out the intake forms, and confirmed both appointments. Despite this, I received daily text messages prompting me to book and confirm appointments I had already made and to upload documents that were already uploaded. A technician came to retrieve me twenty minutes after my appointment time. When I mentioned I had driven 2.5 hours from Savannah specifically for an upright MRI, the technician -- relatively new and unable to speak to the matter authoritatively -- confirmed the Gate Parkway location does not have an upright machine. Staff at the front desk were apologetic but unable to resolve the situation. An attempt was made to redirect me to the Mandarin location that same day; it was closed. The outcome: a wasted trip and a rebooked appointment, requiring a second 100+ mile drive in pain at a future date. Management must be aware of this call center problem. It's their business, and culpability is with management. June 2026

Definitely don't plan this during your lunch break unless you're prepared to be gone much longer than expected. If your doctor refers you there, I would strongly encourage you to ask for another option. There are other imaging centers that respect appointment times and their patients' schedules. This was an extremely frustrating experience and a clear disregard for people's time.

The front staff and techs all have taken care of me like no other. Kayla, Emily (both Emily's), and Lisa are all so friendly, warm, understanding and always puts the patients first. The facility is always super clean, modern, and upon walking in, I feel at ease. I always get super anxious doing my MRIs and everyone here makes you feel so comfortable and always attend to all of your needs. I feel super happy every time I leave the facility. My appointments are always on time. If you miss your appointment or late, they try their best to work with you and your schedule. Sometimes, there might be a wait (mostly my fault for being tardy lol) but it doesn't bother me at all. I understand as I've been to many appointments to treat my tumefactive multiple sclerosis, that sometimes especially in medical settings, the doctor, tech, nurse, etc. can run behind due to treating another patient, other issues, etc. And that's okay, it happens and you roll with it. At the end of the day, you want a facility that genuinely cares about you and here, they do. Speaking for myself but I've never had a problem with them answering the phones or receiving my reports. They've always came in pretty quick and all I need to do is send them an email to request them or pick up a CD. I plan to come here for as along as they have me! She asked if I had an appt, made copies of my drivers license and insurance card, gave me some papers to fill out and sign, I returned them and she got me ready to go back in the back. The mammogram tech came out and took me back to the changing area and showed me where the lockers were to lock up my personal items then I went into the imaging room. She asked me some verification questions and we got started. This machine is not the most comfortable but I've been other places where they forreal, forreal mash you hard. Here, it's a little more tolerable. Afterwards they give you some breast cancer swag like some lip balm, pins, a pink ribbon, rubber bracelets, even a scrunchie. That's cool. Not only did the person at the front desk infer (and directly state) I was fighting with her because I questioned the charge, her lack of knowledge about the insurance process made me feel uncomfortable with the competence of the front office staff -- and potentially the doctors -- at this facility. When I mentioned my concerns, she said she was new and had been trained to say this to patients who questioned the charge. She said she didn't want to fight with me about this, which I found disconcerting as I was not fighting. I just asked why I was being charged when my deductible had been met. She explained that my individual deductible had been met, but not my family one. I questioned this interpretation, as this is not how the deductible is defined, based on my experience and my visits to other health care providers. She repeated that she was not going to fight with me, then in a curt tone, she said I would be getting a bill from my insurance company. The term "fighting" along with her attitude toward me -- and what this said about the quality of care I might receive at this location -- made the decision to find care elsewhere an easy one. And I left.
