Today my husband and I are celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary. The parking lot was packed and we were still able to get a table for 3 without waiting. My husband ordered Chicken Parmesan on Angel hair pasta with Vodka sauce on the side. I ordered the Cavatelli without any sauce. Our waitress was very kind, she gave us a bread basket with butter, olive oil, and shredded Parmesan cheese. We had a great time and will be back again. First time dinning there had a great experience. Was looking forward to going back which I did tonight & will never be back. Service was incompetent at best, appetizers were brought out with the main dish and the kicker, the chicken was raw in the middle. When it was sent back all that was done was re-firing it and brought back seconds later. No apologies, nothing. I told the waitress I don't want the appetizer now, we're halfway thru our meal. She just stood there clueless. I told her to just wrap it up to go and lo and behold, I was still charged for it. Not only is this incompetence, it's dangerous & a food safety issue. Our first time eating here. We came on a Saturday afternoon about 2pm. The bar was packed and loud. Thankfully, the dining tables on the other side of the restaurant had only a few diners and it was quiet. Our server did a wonderful job working the dining table area. She really hustled to take care of the 5 or so tables that were there at the same time as us. I ordered the sausage pizza slice. I wanted to see how their Italian sausage tasted, since each pizza place has different sausages. I liked the Italian sausage on the pizza slice. I ordered one of their salads. Salad was good. Slightly disappointed that they were out of Thousand Island dressing but I was ok with the creamy Italian dressing. My husband had one of the pasta dishes. It was rigatoni with spinach, lots of cheese and of course a marinara sauce. Very good. We really liked the meatballs. They were a very soft meatball that melted in your mouth. I like Pasta Mia. The restaurant section is simple but a comfortable vibe. The bar area is always packed and sometimes there is live music. The blue cheese olive dirty martini is perfectly chilled and delicious. And one of the main reasons I go here. The chicken parmesan and pasta is good. The braciola dinner special was ok. And it only came with one small piece of meat. They ran out of bread on a Saturday night. On another visit, the shrimp was totally over cooked. Gluten free foodies BEWARE! I called in an order for gluten-free pizza and said the words "gluten-free" at least four times. When I had eaten some of my pizza at home, I noticed it was not marked gluten-free on the receipt or on the pizza box. They had not given me gluten-free pizza, and the girl who answered the phone was obviously clueless as to the importance of a gluten-free diet. Half price Monday or not, do not risk your health. They did offer to make me a new pizza but when I said I wouldn't be able to eat for probably 24 hours, they didn't even offer me a refund. Great service! Great food! I had the pot roast. My wife had the chicken versuvio. We both enjoyed very much.

We ordered the eggplant roll for an appetizer. We didn't get it until the middle of our main dish. It was given to the table behind us, they just sat down and 5 minutes later they had our appetizer. I had the chicken vesuvio which was made with 3 very thin slices of chicken breast. It was missing the peas and had a dull flavor. It wasn't cooked with white wine & garlic..Being Italian this is not how you serve/ make an Italian classic meal read more

We were visiting family and my mother-in-law wanted to eat at Pasta Mia. We were a bit skeptical because of the reviews but we had a lovely family dinner and they were very accommodating to us since we had an elderly person who struggles to hear and has a walker. They gave us a corner table, we ordered a bottle of wine, and started in on the bread. We shared a pizza which was very tasty - hot, fresh ingredients and more than enough for 3 of us. My other family members got pasta dishes which they enjoyed. My brother-in-law ordered the special which was fish and the sweet potato side he said was a bit too sweet and the fish a tad overdone but that didn't keep him from cleaning his plate. The noise level did get quite loud toward the end of our dinner, and for those who enjoy live music, that was happening on the patio. What a disappointing meal... Out of bread at 5:15 PM on Sunday evening. After our food was delivered, our server (after we had to ask) he said they were out of bread. His excuse was that the kitchen normally closes at 5. A decent Italian meal comes with bread of some sort in my opinion. I understand sometimes things happen but absolutely nothing was offered as an alternative. The food was actually good, but if you own this place, I hope you read this and actually listen. Maybe your employees were not acting in a way you trained them on and I want you to be aware of it. I understand that just "we're out of bread" does not seem like a big reason for this review, but for me it is. Very nice looking place. Outside and inside however inside lighting was so low it made reading the menu a little difficult. Not sure of the purpose of the ambient lighting in the women's restroom. It appeared that the majority of the patrons were seated on the outside patio. Our server was very good but she alone was working several tables. After placing our order and waiting a long time we asked for some bread. Our food is served and 2 of the burger orders were not what was asked for. This was not the servers fault as she clearly wrote down what was requested. Like a slice of raw onion for a burger. What was received was cut up tiny pieces of onion. I have never been in an Italian restaurant where so much plastic is used. Plastic cups for beverages. Ask for parmasean cheese and served in tiny plastic condiment cup. For close to $4 for a can of soda a real glass would have been nice. Maybe also tell the young girls walking around that clean off the tables to wait until people leave before they lean in on you to remove the salt and pepper shakers off the table. No pardon me from her just a surly face. I ordered spaghetti and meatballs and honestly it was some of the best that I have ever had and certainly worth giving it another try. read more

The pretzel sticks were overcooked and dry. Last time they were so soft and tasty. On to the service: It was crazy packed, a young gentleman at the counter helped me out right away. I have been ordering from Pasta Mia from 2-3 times a week for lunch for several months. One hectic day, I ordered my favorite salad: Grilled Sausage Salad, 2 actually and a Salmon Alla Mia. Unfortunately, I only had time to eat one salad and therefore took the 2nd salad and salmon home. I get home, open the salmon dish and I was VERY disappointed. Paid $20.00+ for a sliver of salmon. I called, talked to Peter about it, sent pictures. (I called twice) They told me that the price of salmon is extremely high. AND they admitted to cutting a salmon fillet in half! I have been here twice and both times the food is fabulous! I highly recommend the bruschetta with cheese added, the stuffed artichoke and the arancini. For entree the chicken vesuvio with potatoes is amazing. Today I had the stuffed shells in meat sauce. For dessert, shared a cannoli and pistachio cake with friends. I don't know what that means and I don't care. If you choose to work with a 3rd party, figure it out. Don't put that on the paying customer. I regret to leave a poor review, but I have absolutely no choice in this case. Under no circumstances, should anyone EVER go here. The food is overpriced and substandard in taste, but that was not the worst part. What bothered me most was the fact that the women behind the bar and some of the waitresses were extremely RUDE and unprofessional. they had no people skills, no service ability, and acted like they were doing others a favor to wait on them. The female bartender Sophia as well as multiple other female employees showed immediate disregard and disrespect towards me , as well as other women who came into the restaurant, and yet treated the men coming in to the restaurant with the respect and kindness that they deserved. The owner sat at a table behind the bar, watching his female waitstaff be openly disrespectful to the clientele, and said nothing. I had a horrible experience in this restaurant, I will never go back, and I do not encourage any woman, alone or women in groups to ever give this establishment their business. The only nice person in this restaurant who was nice was the owners girlfriend, and she was quickly silenced when she tried to encourage good service. This place is awful. This was one of the worst experiences that I have had in a very long time and and I urge all of you to find a place to go where you will be treated with kindness.
