Visited on a Wednesday evening at 6:00. Our server was sweet and seemed to be trying very hard. She did great. Wine and beer selection. I had the tortellini and my guest had the variety plate. Food priced for serving size. Our entrees were shareable. Garlic bread was simple but nicely executed. My pasta was cooked perfectly, chicken thinly sliced which I preferred. My guest said his Italian sausage was excellent and comparable to the Italian found on the Hill in St. Louis. Cheese ravioli was also delicious per him. Atmosphere is exposed brick, soft lighting, both and table seating. There is not a bar and they have a small waiting area. I am visiting from California. I had been to Pasta Grill once before on a previous visit to Conway Arkansas; and this is the one place I had to dine at again. The place was packed with several large parties. I was told by the host it would be 1-1 1/2 hours to seat our party of eight. I told the host we were willing to wait. The host did some maneuvering and was able to seat us in about 30 minutes. The food was everything thing I expected. Absolutely delicious! Pasta Grill serves all the typical Italian dishes. They also serve steaks and have a large variety of unique specialty dishes. My choice was the shrimp and grits. The name is simple, but the dish is amazing. Beautiful presentation and layers of texture and flavors that will make you want to come back again and again. Even all the way from California. I highly recommend Pasta Grill. Conway AR is our stopover to OK city. Read the reviews for Pasta Grill and had to try it out. Great choice for my wife and I. She is a chicken parm fanatic and rated this as one of the best. Portions were perfect for the lunch entree. I ordered the Portabella Alfredo Raviolli and spouse ordered Manicotti. Overall we spent no more for the two of us than we would have had we gone to Chic Fil A or some such fast food establishment. The total for just the two of us was $20. I grew up in a big Italian family and am a bit shocked that other Italians here on yelp approve of the Pasta Grill. I've been to the PG a few times and my food has been mediocre at best. They have a very bizarre tendency to mix in Mexican inspired elements into their "Italian" food. The "cannoli" is a tortilla fried cheesecake thing (Conway residents don't know the difference I guess) I was excited back when you guys first opened because Conway is seriously lacking when it comes to Italian cuisine...unfortunately they still are. :( read more

As a frequent patron I would be remiss if a review was not written. Our weekend visits and takeout are for the consistently wonderful prime rib. Of the items we have tried on the menu all have been excellent. The French bread and marinara sauce is so good an appetite could be satisfied. Must be careful. We are new to Conway and the Pasta Grill came highly recommended. Friday night, we gave it a shot. First thought was the interior decor was simple, yet amazing. All the staff were very pleasant. Taylor was our server and he was great! The food was phenomenal... which is a slight understatement. The soup & garlic bread was so delicious. I had the Cajun Shrimp Pasta and my wife had the Chicken Fetteccuni Alfredo. Both dishes were the best pasta we've ever had. Hats off to the Chef's and crew! AWESOME food ~ never had an entree that wasn't perfect. Shrimp & Grits probably my favorite. It's my go to place for Italian. It's a quaint restaurant, nice atmosphere for date night. Excellent food, friendly service. Because it is SO good and therefore, so busy I highly recommend reservations at night. Even if you forget to call ahead, it's worth the wait ~ you won't regret it. Food and service are pretty good however the owner has a policy that they will not plate two items separately. A simple request and refusal on 4 different visits. Even the staff has commented and apologized but says they're not allowed to do it. The last visit they denied the request but compromised by putting an empty dish in between the items. Been a long term fan of Pasta Grill but we had our first disappointing meal this past Saturday.. We arrived about 5:15 and were immediately seated. Sat for some time before our waiter appeared and we ordered our wine. Took some time for the wine to arrive and then another long wait to place our order. After placing our orders we had to stop our server and ask for bread, then stop him again for another drink. When our food finally arrived we only received 3 out of the 4 meals. when he finally did come back to ask how everything was we had to tell him we were still missing one meal! Two of our party were never served another glass of wine. The southernmost pasta which is my go to favorite was bland as were other meals that night. Again we had to track down our server for our check. When leaving i asked to speak to the manager and she never appeared, then I had to track her down and explained the poor service and she really didn't seem to care. Did not receive our meal after waiting over 45 minutes. Three tables near ours received their food even though we were seated first. We kept our choices simple, but that didn't seem to help. The server blamed a large table on the other side of the restaurant for the delay. If this were true, then the other tables seated after us should not have received their meals either. He should have just admitted it was his fault. The hostess/manager tried to make it right, but it was too late. We invested an hour of our lives that we will never get back. Left hungry and went to Wendy's. Also, check your soft drink fountain, ours tasted a little funny. I hate to write this, because our previous visit was very good. We will not return. read more

Great food but that is where it stops. The restaurant 'doesn't technically do reservations' but if you wait in the foyer you will see persons come in after you but sit before you because they 'called ahead'. The online menu prices are not currently the actual price and when speaking with a manager (term used loosely) it was met with sarcasm. The service. or lack thereof, ruins the experience and it seems to be an issue that starts with management. This is the conversation: They have a menu with pricing listed for lunch and they charged us a total of $6 more than listed on 4 lunches - so I called and the guy to report this and he was like "yeah - we are working on getting those changed" I said why would you change the actual prices before you change your menu itself - you realize that when someone makes a call in order they are using that online menu the same way someone in a restaurant uses the one handed to them He said - no its not, but I am not going to debate that with you read more

Well, if you're reading this now, Thom S., I have to say you are a lucky man. My girlfriend and I arrived at PG an hour before they closed, asked for a table, and were told that it would be an hour wait. We put our names down on the list and proceeded to head across the street for a beer, which we were recommended to do by the hostess. After a quick drink, we returned 30-40 minutes later to an empty waiting area, followed by a prompt seat at a table, she seemed quite "happy" to get us to our seats. See, Thom S., unlike you and your party, we arrived at the end of the dinner service--not lunch, and clearly everyone who worked for PG wanted to be somewhere else. I myself am a server at a local restaurant here in Conway, so I understand the business, and clearly we were "the last table," and we were treated as such. Grumpy, lackluster service. "Hi my name is 'mumble'," followed by a quick, oddly forceful "do you know what you want to eat??" Asked for a recommendation, upon stating it was my first time there, and received an "everything's good." Thanks. It was good; the food was great. However, I will suggest that if you do dine at Pasta Grill please arrive at the beginning of their dinner service when their servers might have a bit more life in them.
