We just happened to be in the area and we're craving some new food, bumped into this place. And what a discovery! First of all, I loved their outdoor seating area, very cozy and warm, beautiful playlist, all in all great ambience for some wonderful conversations. We were served their welcome sourdough bread with some Chimichurri, which was a great start. It was Thursday, so we ordered their $1.50 Empanadas - one each of Corn, eggplant and spinach. All 3 were great, I personally loved the Corn empanada! Definitely coming back just for that.. we also had their Fugazza - Argentinian pizza with flavored onions and mozzarella. I thought it was a little bland but Chimichurri to the rescue again! I've read so much about their pasta, definitely gota try that next time. A little disappointed in my first visit to Pasta Connection. My husband, 6 month old daughter and myself came here tonight for dinner hoping to find a rare find and delicious Italian dinner without making the journey to Olive Garden-which we love but it's a drive for us. We were seated fairly quickly and recognized the host from another restaurant we go to alllllll the time so we got excited! Bread was brought out after about 5-10 minutes of us looking over the menu along with our drinks and then it seemed like we waited another 20 to order our food. We were so thankful for the bread and it was delicious! They were fairly busy tonight-but I do feel as though we were ignored by our waitress. She barely spoke 2 words to us-overcharged us. We ordered 1 soda 1 water and she billed us for 2 or they are incredibly cheap and charge by the glass. My husband and I both ordered Fettuccine Alfredo. This is where it goes downhill the most. It was buttery noodles with a milky cheese sauce. It tasted like something I made at home as a kid. It was like Mac and cheese TBH and no flavor of Alfredo AT ALL. No fresh grated Parmesan either as the menu states. Just the chalky stuff you buy in the grocery isle next to the pasta. No flavor at all. We tried one more time with desert and tried the Tiramisu and it was pretty bad too. Chalky and bitter. Even when I ordered it the waitress acted shocked we wanted something else because we had to flag her down haha. Just pretty weird for us. The waitress literally never came to talk to us. Just tried to hurry us out. Very much lacking in the customer service department. Sadly I couldn't get her name since she pretty much never showed her face but she had black hair pulled up. She didn't even say bye or ask us if we needed anything after that. Only waitress I'm guessing. Customer service here is absolutely terrible. Came here for a birthday dinner, saw the wonderful reviews and thought we would try this place out! We ordered one fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, one cannelloni di carne, and a bolognese. Our food took about 55 minutes to come out (which a wait is expected with fresh pasta) but a table came in of about 8-10 people 10 minutes after we ordered, they were obviously regulars because our server lit up when she saw them and ran over to them to chat. They ordered with her and their food all came out about 20 minutes later. So we had to sit there and watch them all eat while our three entrees were still not out. 20 minutes after they get their food, ours arrived. The cannelloni di carne was so horrible and inedible. The meat tasted rancid and rotten, one bite and we were almost sick. We kept trying to flag down our server, Aurora, but she was busy conversing with her co worker behind the counter. When we finally got someone's attention they had her come over and we very politely explained how the entree tasted like something was rotten and she responded with a dirty look and walked away, still leaving the entree on the table. The fettuccine Alfredo was actually very very good but it's hard to enjoy when the person you're with can't even get his food down because of a bad meat. We asked her again if we could maybe swap it out for something else or have it removed and she said "no you need to pay for your food" then proceeded to ask me "cash or card". I didn't even have a bill or total yet? Also the bolognese entree wasn't out still, we had asked if maybe they could pack it to go so we could just take it and leave, but we never got it. We decided enough is enough and we left hungry with no third entree packed to go or compensation for an inedible meal. I will never be returning. read more

The sauces are flavorful They also have really good GF options, which makes me really happy. Yes, they have GF pasta! The staff here is extremely friendly and helpful! And it is so nice to come in and see the same faces every time we come here. The owners are the kindest people ever. Really! This place is great for large group! We had a reservation for 20, and our table was ready when we arrived. The restaurant is spacious, and we were all comfortably seated in one long table. It took a little while for them to start taking our orders as they were busy tending to other patrons. However, they definitely redeemed themselves by separating our checks as we ordered making the process much more smooth at the end. After ordering, complimentary bread was served. The bread was fresh and warm with a fluffy interior. The chimichurri was a nice complement to the bread. During this visit, I was able to try the Creamy Pesto Tortellini and Fettuccine Alla Fantasia. The portions were great for both dishes, and the sauces were creamy but on the bland side. For the tortellini, it comes with a side salad with your choice of dressing. The salad was a fresh balance to the carb heavy dishes. The fettuccine also had a unique slippery texture which made the dish a little less heavy. Overall, the food was average but appreciate that all the dishes were hot and made to order. Service was friendly and attentive as our water was consistently filled. Definitely a family friendly environment, and I would come back to try their Argentinean dishes. read more

I am the biggest carbs lover and when I saw pasta connection I knew I had to try it out. Although I ordered for takeout, the quality of food wasn't any less. I ordered the paglia e fieno for something different and it did not disappoint me. The pasta was cooked Al dente, the cream was just enough, the sausage paired so well with the pasta and mushrooms were cooked perfectly. Not only that but they also included a piece of baguette. I guess I'm the biggest party pooper of all then by the looks of it. We've only had breakfast here and it sucked. I had an omelet and they topped it with Kraft singles. Disgusting!! I had to scrape it off. Hubby had corned beef hash which was also very average at best. The toast was just awful. It was soggy and mushy. Utterly disappointing. Lil guy's pancakes were also not fluffy, but rather, gummy and pasty. The menu said that the hash browns were crispy, but that was a lie. I guess I should've asked for EXTRA crispy. The bacon was the only thing that was done right -- crispy! without my having to ask for it to be crispy. Service was so-so. This is such a hidden gem. The staff is extremely sociable, energetic, and always making sure your visit is absolutely perfect. The food... is AMAZING. Head chef is a rockstar. Their empanadas are amazing and their antipasto is sooo tasty, the green beans in it are a perfect touch to such a classic dish. My favorite dish is the polenta, I used to have it as a kid growing up in a Sicilian household and it's INCREDIBLE with their Argentinian chorizo sausage. Meat Lasagna = melt in your mouth, dreaminess. And their steak is charred to perfection. You can seriously taste the quality in every bite and it is completely worth it. We decided on breakfast at Pasta Connection based on great recommendations. Wow.......we had delicious meals!!! The Egg Florentine was full of veggies and perfect amount of melted cheese and the steak and eggs my husband had were perfectly prepared...medium rare and scrambled with a great side of the house breakfast potatoes. The building did not invite us in as much as all the great reviews and recommendations. Our server was Aurora and she was so personable, helpful with A+ service. My family and I have finally returned here again after a long hiatus. I was craving chimichurri with bread, and I knew this place would not disappoint. We arrived fairly late for dinner, but service here was pretty quick. They were just busy and rightly so. The bread was fresh and still warm, so it was delicious with butter and a generous layer of chimichurri. We shared calamari as an appetizer (also didn't disappoint, perfectly seasoned, great drizzled with lemon & with tomato sauce). I ordered the seafood paella (huge portion, worth sharing if you're not super hungry), my hubby ordered the Pampa steak (highly recommend, no need for steak sauce, is that tasty), my Ma had her usual tutti mare (seafood pasta, which has a generous portion of seafood), and the kids shared spaghetti (normal but not the highlight of the evening). We were so full that we didnt have enough room for dessert (highly recommend the flan). Servers are incredibly attentive and accommodating. This place is easy to miss if you're not looking for it specifically, and the parking is behind the restaurant. I'd gladly return here again. read more

I had hoped to be able provide a better review for Pasta Connection. It is close by and I love Italian/Argentine food and fresh pasta. The staff is friendly enough and attentive, but some of the dishes I have ordered were disappointing. Chicken Marsala - I have enjoyed many meals of Chicken Marsala and this was not one of them. This is one occasion where less is more. The Marsala wine taste was so intense as to make the dish almost uneatable. Whether too much wine was used or the alcohol was not sufficiently cooked off, I do not know. I did not return the dish, but I also ate very little of it. I would not order it again. Chicken Alfredo - I did not try this, but the person who ordered it seemed pleased with the dish. Calamari - Excellent Spaghetti Bolognese (take out) - This was OK. I had ordered empanadas as well and the order may have sat too long before being provided to me. 10 minutes later when I ate it at home the fresh pasta was unremarkable. Fresh pasta done well is heavenly. This pasta and sauce was just OK. Beef Empanadas (take out). The empanadas were good, but not as good as the Empanada Place, previously just down the street, but recently out of business. Make sure that they vent the take out container, otherwise they will steam in transit, which is not a good thing. BTW, there are special prices for empanadas on Thursdays. Will I go to the pasta connection again. Yes for wine, calamari and empanadas. I wish they upped their game. read more

My friend Stacy & I used to come here after donating blood (excellent excuse for eating well!), but we haven't been here since COVID started. Oh my gosh - we've missed this place and their amazing breakfast so much! We were there at 8:30 this (Saturday) morning, and it was very quiet. Coffee was poured, and orders were placed. Our favorite - The Hangover Special, with added avocado, their amazing home fries, English muffins, and a side of bacon for me, ham for Stacy. By the time we got our order (in no time at all), more people were strolling in. The food is as amazing as ever, the staff is still attentive and nice, and we will be back! I need to get over for the dinners - they have so many amazing choices! Important tip - I missed the entrance the first time I passed because there have been some changes. The outside is going through some alterations - it's now painted white with a blue trim & the picture of the baby with the bowl of pasta on his head is not inside the covered entrance. It needs a little landscaping love, but the inside is still the same, and they have patio dining in the back area that looks very nice. read more

I love this place! Been coming for 20 years. This is not a hip and trendy "It" place like its neighbor down the street, Social, but they do make all the pasta in house. As they are an Italian/Argentine restaurant, you can also get empanadas. I usually get the beef filled agnolotti(they look like big tortellini) with a red sauce with mushrooms. The pasta is slightly softer than al dente, but not mushy and still fantastic. The entree comes with a salad and also add an empanada for $2.5 cause they're so damn good. I ordered a sandwich, fettuccine Alfredo and an appetizer via Grubhub. The grub hub driver delivered the food, but only the sandwich and app. No fettuccine. So i called Pasta Connection and the man who answered was so kind, polite and tried to help me out. I explained i was missing a dish and he proceeded to ask the chefs in Spanish, not realizing i Can understand. I heard a man say in Spanish that there could have possibly been a mixup and to talk to Maria. I'd assume he was talking about my pasta cause then the guy on the phone asked "it was spinach right?" As in spinach noodles. And yes it was. They weren't sure what to do so they put Maria on the phone. I explained to Maria the situation and she said that the driver probably stole it. She was rude and inpatient, as if the phone call was bothering her. I asked politely how to rectify the situation and she said "i don't know what to tell you" and that "it happens all the time." I got the Paglia E Fieno and it was superb. The texture of the noodles were perfect, fresh and not too eggy. The sauce was not bland at all but not too salty either. It paired extremely well with the sausage and mushrooms. AND IT WAS CHEAPER THAN 20 DOLLARS! I also got the Calamari and that was fantastic as well. Crispy and the red sauce provided was great to dip it in. Both servings were super large. I was able to share it with my boyfriend and still be full.
