I absolutely love The Picklr Henderson. The pricing is super reasonable compared to other places,…read morewhich makes it easy to come back regularly. What really stood out to me though is how clean and well-maintained the courts are. The whole space feels organized, welcoming, and perfect whether you're playing casually with friends or getting a serious workout in. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Henderson for movement and community. Definitely recommend checking it out if you enjoy pickleball or want a fun way to stay active.

He kindly invited me to join one of his clinics at their Henderson location. I was so estatic to play indoor pickleball. I said YES! So here I am. Thank you so much Grahm! STAFF / SERVICE: Grahm is an amazing pickleball coach! He observed everyone's plays and provided constructive feedback on their hits and movements. He was very patient with all the players. I haven't played pickleball in a while. It was great to be back on the courts, move again, and sweat a whole bunch LOL. I had so much fun! Thanks for the opportunity, Grahm! Super friendly pro shop staff. I tried on a couple unisex The Picklr brand white and black shirts and was debating on which size was best. The nice lady at the register tried on the same medium and large unisex shirts to help me decide on the shirt size. Medium was a bit snugged. Large was a better and looser fit, but a tad long. She recommended that I get the large shirt and get it hemmed. I'll see if it's worth the extra $20 to hem. Thank you miss for your help! They offer reasonable memberships or one-time visit pricings. I don't live near Henderson so it wouldn't do me any good to get a membership. However, if they open up locations in CA, I may consider it. If you frequently play pickleball, becoming a member may be worth it for you. INTERIOR / AMBIANCE: Total of 11 indoor pickleball courts. Pro shop full of merchandise, snacks, and drinks. One big room available for events or gatherings. Simple black and white themed wall decor. Very clean, well maintained, and lit interior all around. Versatile bi-level drinking fountain with hands free water bottle filling station are present for use. Lockers are available. Men and women restrooms are in the back right corner. EXTERIOR / PARKING: The Picklr Henderson is located in the Foothills Plaza. Lots of free parking. Clean and well maintained exterior. RECOMMEND THIS PLACE? Absolutely! If you're a pickleball connoisseur or someone who just started playing or someone who is thinking about playing, this spot is for you! Sign up for Grahm's clinics if you're interested in learning from the best. Happy Picklr'ing!

Residential parking across the way, and along the streets, are your best bet. Like I mentioned before, there is very little shade, unless you go by the trees, but it is a ways from the fields, and closer to the small park which is also popular. Make sure you wear sunblock and wear a hat. Also, if it is windy, there are no tall structures to block the wind. So, dress appropriately. Just a few tips. There are seven games in the flag football season. Six of the seven games are located here for the 2026 Winter season. All of the start times vary. Hubby's in his eighth season of coaching this age group. Hubby's a good coach. So, when you see poor coaching on the other end, it's sad, because it is the kids who are emulating your behavior (the adults). I am making light of this, because one boy who grabbed one of our kids' flags immediately threw it on the ground, which demonstrates poor sportsmanship.

If I could give this place stars I would give it 0 stars…read more The gym had no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot inside. It was uncomfortable for both players and spectators, and in those conditions, there is a real concern about heat-related illnesses. What made the experience even worse was the way the owner, Angela (long straight light blonde or white hair), treated us. I've never encountered a business owner who spoke to customers and children so disrespectfully. Our kids and our friends' kids were at the gym. They were being kids, and while I understand that children should follow the rules, I didn't appreciate the way Angela addressed them. She told them, "If you don't stop, you'll be out in the street." Later, when one of the kids accidentally turned off the lights, she yelled that if it happened again, there would never be kids allowed in the gym again. It wasn't the correction that bothered me--it was the tone and the way she spoke to them. Afterward, I went to the front desk to speak with a manager. I asked Angela if she was the manager, and she responded with an attitude, saying, "No, I'm the owner." She then told me I was banned from the gym, that I was never allowed back, and ordered me to leave. I was surprised by how quickly the situation escalated and felt it was handled in a very unprofessional manner. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, so I had to ask an employee, who confirmed that Angela was the owner. I believe this situation could have been handled much more respectfully. If there were concerns about the children's behavior, she could have calmly spoken with the parents instead of yelling at the kids and immediately banning customers. Professional communication goes a long way. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this gym. The lack of air conditioning was disappointing, but the owner's attitude and customer service were the biggest reasons I won't be returning.

We called to see if we could get a refund (even partial), but they explained had we called 3 days earlier they could have done that. It is on the paperwork we signed , but didn't read (I'm irritated at myself, but we trusted a friend's recommendation). We were under the impression that we could "try it out." The tryout period is apparently 7 days. We have tried emailing and calling & there is "nothing they can do." Again, the coaches are as good as any coach we have worked with, but I wish we followed our original plan. We went in with high hopes, now we are paying the price. $1,200 for TWO practices price.

Most curling clubs need to share ice with hockey/figure skating. This is a dedicated space. There are 4 sheets. They have a nice set of equipment available for use so you can simply come in and play. They do have beginner leagues available if you have the urge to commit. The staff are all volunteers and really patient. They explain the basics and help you build a base of knowledge of the game. They support all types of players. If you are unable to bend down to play, they have sticks that you can use. For those that wish to spectate, they have comfortable seating inside the ice area with blankets to keep you warm or a heated area that you can sit in. Though there is ice, it's not very cold so a sweater is a good idea. If you get cold, you can hop into the warm area. This is a great fun activity for both locals and visiting groups.

CurlVegas finally gave us the chance to try it ourselves, and consider us officially hooked. With it being over 110 degrees in the sweltering Las Vegas summer, just stepping into the facility already felt like a much-needed escape. The cold air and ice were such a welcome change from the heat outside. Brad and Nicole were wonderful instructors. They gave us great pointers and made the game easy to understand while sharing their own knowledge and love for curling. The fact that the instruction is volunteer-based through a nonprofit makes it even better. You can tell they genuinely have a passion for the sport, and that enthusiasm quickly became infectious as we started learning the techniques, rules, and strategy behind the game. The facility has four full Olympic-regulation ice sheets, all the equipment you need, and real granite stones sourced from Scotland and Wales. It really felt like we were getting the full curling experience rather than some watered-down version of it. We came in curious and left wanting to play again. Maybe with enough practice, we'll eventually try out for the national team.

While that number alone speaks volumes, that is only the tip of the ice berg. McNamara offers high performance training to every student. They are treated and respected as individuals. All are engaged, trained and challenged to be their best and are taught and expected to adhere to the optimal tennis techniques they are taught from lesson one. They are also taught theory from day one which was very impressive. This is a school where they will hit the ball over a hundred (or hundreds) of times each lesson. This is not a school to attend if the goal is to stand around with a racket and look good! Dillon is a former Team USA hockey player with an otherwise varied and background in team work and competitive sports. He offers old school coaching with cutting edge techniques. Dillon will frequently text message videos and drawings to emphasize points or provide examples. It was readily apparent that he possessed exceptional coaching skills that combined a natural ability with a strong focus on technique and theory. The kids are treated as competitive athletes and each one seems to rise to the occasion. In the end this was also a very important consideration to me. Dillon's team of assistant instructors are obviously students of his method of teaching.
