Having dedicated two decades to training in gyms, I can confidently assert that Protogym is,…read morewithout question, my most cherished training facility. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that Protogym is built for serious athletes. The breadth of its equipment is astounding: from dumbbells reaching 200lb, Olympic barbells and lifting platforms, to specialized strongman and powerlifting gear like bands , glute-ham raises, and reverse hyper. The facility also delivers a wide range of cardio options--Airdyne bikes, Jacobs ladders, rowers, steppers, treadmills--and a fully equipped boxing area featuring 100lb and 200lb heavy bags along with a wrecking‑ball bag . The membership model is refreshingly straightforward--no inflated "Vegas" pricing here. Protogym offers secured access, no enrollment or cancellation fees, and flexible month‑to‑month plans. One group fitness class is included per month, with an option for unlimited classes available. Membership includes access to their proprietary training app, tools for nutrition consultations, and web‑based account management In my experience, the gym is never overly busy--a rarity in my extensive bodybuilding journey. Pros: * Exceptionally well-equipped for strength training, powerlifting, and functional workouts. * Great value with competitive monthly pricing and no hidden fees or long-term commitments. * Rarely crowded and pulsating with a community of serious, like-minded athletes. * Includes a fitness app and group class options in the membership. Cons (minor): * Location in Henderson may be a bit of a trek depending on where you are in Las Vegas. Would I recommend it? Without hesitation. Protogym succeeds in balancing elite-level equipment, affordability, and a dedicated, undiluted training environment. If you're serious about your training--and value both quality and community--it doesn't get much better.

I've been to multiple EōS locations and have never had anyone mention that you can't wear…read moreslippers/slides to the gym. So imagine our frustration when my fiancé and I drove 20 minutes to this Stephanie location at 6:00 AM, ready to get our workout in, only for him to be told he couldn't work out because he was wearing slippers. I completely understand having safety rules around footwear while actually exercising. What frustrated me was the inconsistent communication and enforcement. If this is a strict policy, it should be clearly communicated and consistently enforced across locations--not something you find out after driving 20 minutes to the gym and getting ready to start your workout. And honestly, I see plenty of high school and college-age members coming in wearing slides/slippers with their friends all the time, which makes the situation even more confusing. It was 6:00 AM. We made the effort to get up early, drive 20 minutes, and start our day with a workout. Being told at the door that my fiancé couldn't work out over his footwear was incredibly frustrating. What makes this even more disappointing is that we've been to multiple EōS locations and have never experienced this issue. If the rule is closed-toe athletic shoes, make it clear to members and enforce it consistently. We left frustrated--not because we don't understand safety policies, but because this could have been communicated much better. A 20-minute drive at 6 AM just to be turned away is not the way you want to start your morning. Shoutout to the front desk girl who showed no empathy. Like we're tired too, we're just waking up and just trying to set the mood for the day. Also, how you gonna turn us away but another guy walks in with sandals after us and is able to workout? Make it make sense.

I just stopped in to do my make up as I'm a girl on-the-go. sometimes I need to run into certain EOS gyms to get ready before going somewhere. That was the case today. though the parking lot seemed full coming into the actual gym seemed spacious & clean. To my surprise when I came into the women's locker room to do my make up I was greeted with lovely spa-like music versus aggressive, loud music, but you can find on the gym floor, which is to be expected but never have I been in any EOS where they were playing spa-like music so I absolutely love this touch. I actually wish other gyms would do this because some of the higher quality gym do this and it just makes your experience while being in the locker room pleasant versus loud and aggressive. Whoever is in control of the music at this location for this particular day, Kudos to you! this calming music plays a huge role in the overall experience of the guest. other location should take note.

The Vibe: Play (This is how I play in Las Vegas. )…read more The Guide: Elana Giordano * Vibe Vinyasa Class began with a choice. Choose a shape. And breathe. Then Elana dropped three sentences I won't forget. * "Your body is always listening." * "Use your breath to communicate with your body." * "Your body is listening to your thoughts." I'd heard: "Use your breath to connect to your body." I'd heard people say, "Your subconscious is listening." But never... "Use your breath to communicate with your body." Communication implies relationship. A conversation. Then came another invitation. Move however your body wants. Cat-Cow, if you'd like. Or something else. Music up. Free flow. Then music off. Elana taught a short sequence. Music up. Our turn. Again. Longer. Again. Longer still. By the final round... the sequence had moved beyond thought. Okay, Body, please remember. It did. One leg lifted. One foot stepped forward. One arm reached. The rest of me followed. (We were all in it.) The class was too. Breathing. Moving. Listening. Then... the long holds. Warrior I. Arms reaching overhead. Eyes lifted. Just as a conversation was about to start with my shoulders... Wilson Phillips started singing... Hold On. The entire room cracked up. Suddenly... five breaths with the front heel lifted... became fun. Then everything softened. Once again... we chose our own resting posture. Music up. All-4-One. "I Swear." People started humming. A few sang. Nobody seemed self-conscious. Just... happy. It felt like friends... playing. The Tribe: I've never taken another class quite like this. People talked. Laughed. Sang. Participated. Some communities meditate together. This one plays together. Space & Place: A whimsical mural greets you. Cubbies are topped with flowers & greenery. Yoga Room: Candlelit. Neon glow. Infrared heat. The artwork reflects the studio's philosophy. One framed piece tells the story of The Two Wolves: "The one you feed." Another reminds us... Yoga doesn't have to look so serious. The space is alive with... Creativity. Play. Growth. Behind the Vibe After class, I asked Elana how all this came to be. She told me she started with Bikram while studying abroad. Her practice evolved. So did she. Then... she opened a yoga studio. During a pandemic. The Takeaway: Field Note: Breath is one of the few conversations where changing your voice changes what you hear back. Great For: * Music-driven flow * Infrared heat lovers * Creative sequencing * People who want freedom inside structure * Playful adults * Anyone who thinks yoga should be fun
