Door to access

No star at all I'm asking for a partial refund Not getting it Stepped in their dogs crap 2x Asked for clean linens... was supposed to stay 16 days. I'm 6 days in. They told me to take sheets and towels to a laundry mat. The door is busted. I have to zip tie it. The poor maintenance guy tried to fix. Not his fault cheap doors. No parking if you have large vehicles. I'm going back to my previous booking. They're welcoming me with open arms. They canceled a family trip to their home to accommodate me. Those are my people. I'll be out about 2800$. Meanwhile I'm cleaning the Mojo Room Paso Robles. I'm removing all trash cause you gotta walk up a hill. Customer service?

Gross.

We made coffee, eggs and toast in the kitchenette every morning and were sent off by Lulu and Pono (the two ranch dogs) before we left for our daily activities. The house is in close proximity to many of the Paso wineries, 30 min to Morro Bay, and 10 minutes to downtown Paso Robles which made it easy to take mid afternoon naps before the next activity. The last day we drank our wine in the Saloon and loved all the interesting artifacts and history. We can't wait to come back in the fall for another visit!

We were in room 201, and it was very quiet. The breakfast was complimentary but not that exciting. Had a cocktail in the outside bar, and it was very nice with all the fires. A lovely place to stay and we will definitely stay again when we visit Paso Robles again.

From the outside, it's rather unassuming, but once you go in the front doors, the inner real beauty of this location is revealed. The courtyard is simply amazing, and like a bubble in space and time that offers a refuge from the outside world. In the evening the fireplaces are burning with hardwood every night and they offer fresh made s'mores to hotel guests. There's actually a s'mores menu. The whole environment is almost like something from a movie. They've also got a wonderful library that is tastefully appointed with many wonderful and interesting different books to read. It definitely invites you to sit down and snuggle by the fire with a good book. Such a cozy feeling! You can also select some candy for a snack. The rooms themselves are also beautiful and the bedding looks nice. Though I will say for me personally the pillows were really uncomfortable, and they had a rough spun duvet which smelled musty on the inside like it hadn't been washed in quite awhile. It looked and smelled like they were washing the sheets and the blanket but not the duvet itself. They also offer breakfast in the morning, but it's a little bit later than some other places so if you have to get an early start, then you probably won't be able to catch it. Overall I really enjoyed the stay and would say this experience is really good for the boutique traveler that is looking for a peaceful, unhurried trip.

From the moment we…read morearrived, we were welcomed by Lisa Peach, who is one of the kindest, warmest people we've ever met. She immediately made us feel at home with her gentle spirit and genuine hospitality. We later met Rob, Lisa's husband, who was just as kind and welcoming. Lisa was especially sweet with our daughter--she spent time showing her around the farm, baking together in the kitchen, and exploring the beautiful herb garden. It meant so much to us to see that connection. The entire property is peaceful and stunning, with gentle rolling hills, goats, chickens, and cows (though we didn't spot the cows this time!). We also had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast most days with their wonderful chef, Dominique, who made such delicious food--everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. It was the perfect way to start each day. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations--from the thoughtful details throughout the property, to the calm, rejuvenating atmosphere. Kindred Oak Farm is a hidden gem that we will always hold close to our hearts. Thank you, Lisa and Rob, for a stay filled with kindness, connection, and unforgettable memories.

It was sweet that they both came to meet us, and give us a tour of the cottage and grounds to be sure that we were comfortable. It felt like we were visiting family or friends and we truly felt at home. The cottage looks like it is from a fairy tale and it is as perfect inside as it is outside. No detail has been overlooked to be sure that the guests have everything (and more!) that they need. Sitting right amidst the beautiful vineyards, it is like looking at a postcard. Every inch of the cottage is immaculate and looks brand new. The interior has been done tastefully with great attention to detail. From the high quality appliances and furniture to the smallest details in the bathroom. Seriously, nothing has been overlooked! This quiet and serene location is just close enough to restaurants, shopping and wine tasting but you will feel like you are "walking in the clouds". The cottage is equipped with everything needed to make a special getaway perfect. What a gem this place is! We will surely be back...

We stayed at another converted motel in Paso on our last visit (Farmhouse - which we loved) but we wanted to be a bit closer to the square so we decided to try Stables Inn. Now you do get exactly what it looks like in their photos - which is fine. But just the quality of everything isn't the best. The rooms are small and the bedding and finishes are just not great quality. The bathroom very tiny, no working exhaust fan and the room itself just had one tiny window so it just felt a bit claustrophobic for two people. The staff experience was a bit mixed and could use some polishing. The positives: You are walking distance to the square. There is an interior common area which is a nice lounge. The weather out was awful so we escaped and hung out in the lounge for a bit to get out of our room. They do have an outside common area as well but you're literally on the side of a main road on an 'island' in the middle of the parking lot. I am not sure even in good weather I'd feel comfortable sitting there. If being walking distance to the square is a priority, and you aren't spending much time in your room this might be fine for you. We ended up staying our third night at the Farmhouse Motel which is just a bit further down the road and couldn't recommend it more. Everything is so well done and priced very comparably.
