TEMPORARILY (or PERMANENTLY?) CLOSED. We like this place but it's been closed for a while. Doors say it will open again Fall 2024 but it doesn't look like it's going to be anytime soon. Phone number also out of service.

Pass Del Norte is the kind of place where four old gals like us can sit, sip a margarita, and gossip -- just don't expect to be wowed by the food. It's decent, keeps you fed, but nothing to write home about. We had fun anyway, because let's be honest, we bring the party. Food? Meh. Company? Fabulous.

I got a burrito and my wife got a combo the food was overall good I thought the burrito meat was a bit too wet and the sauce was definitely too loose. we will try them again for sure as the menu does look good ad the food was not bad

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant to go to in Blaine. I have been there a number of times and always enjoyed my meal last night. I had a 2 tamale/1 chicken burrito combination plate with beans and rice and it was very tasty. The portions are large enough so that I could take some home in a to go container.

We were just in town for the day and hungry after tromping around the beaches all day. Is it always really busy? Hopefully- it's delicious. We took a walk down to the pier and back while we waited for it to open and beat all the crowds. We both had the fish and chips, which came with fries and coleslaw. I've never seen fries cut like this- as if potato jojos/wedges and twirly fries had a brain child?? Tasty though! The fish was crispy on the outside and I loved that it came with lemon AND there was malt vinegar on the table (and it came with tartar sauce too!) Perfect triple combo in my opinion and I didn't even need to ask. Coleslaw was great- not too much mayo or celery seed or anything weird. Just a good scoop of salad. I ordered scoop sauce on the side and it wasn't my favorite because I am the weirdo that doesn't like ketchup. If you like ketchup (and a touch of horseradish!) this is your sauce! It was creamy and balanced and it's popular.

Dropped in here for lunch…read more The decor was clean and modern, but there was some packaging lying around on the front tables. I ordered the cucumber salad and seafood fried rice with XO sauce, as well as tea. The tea came first, with a very nice Western style porcelaib pot and cup and saucer. Elegant! The cucumber salad had an interesting dressing, slightly sweet, but with a healthy amount of garlic. Somehow, for me, it worked. The cucumber was very fresh and served as a nice neutral base to build the flavors on. I was warned when I ordered the fried rice that it was spicy. Well, it was slightly tingly, but nothing major for my tastes. The rice was soft and loose and flavourful. Surprised by what looked like short grain rice. The rice came with some kind of whitefish, shrimp, and scallops. Also very finely diced red and green peppers, carrots, and onions. It was very flavorful, the seafood was very fresh and perfectly cooked, and tasty without being salty. I got a refill of hot water for my tea without asking, which was very appreciated. Price for one person was a bit high, but portions were large enough for sharing between two, and compared to other prices on the White Rock Beach, this wasn't too bad. A good spot for some good Chinese good!

The Mango Lassi was a creamy and refreshing delight, providing the perfect respite on a warm day. We couldn't resist trying their Signature drink, the Blue Hawaii, which was not only colourful but also served in a fun and quirky hanging basket glass. As for the appetizer, we opted for the Honey Chilli Cauliflower from their Indo-Chinese menu, and it struck the perfect balance between sweetness and spice. Of course, we couldn't leave without experiencing their renowned tandoori dishes. Thanks to the unique spices and clay oven cooking, the Malai Chicken Tikka was incredibly tender and flavoured. For the main course, we tried both the lamb and vegetarian offerings. The Tawa Lamb truly stood out with its rich blend of spices, while the Sham Savera, a spinach and cottage cheese dish, offered a unique and delicious vegetarian option.
