I was 10 mins late after calling to let them know. They told me they didn't have enough time to give me a blowout that would take less than 20mins because they were so backed up. The staff was extremely rude and there was no warmth or empathy at all in the interaction. I would not recommend them to anyone. read more

I always have a cut but sometimes also include balayage and/or highlights or color. Always perfectly done. Staff are fun, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. She's always friendly and helps me strategize my next hair moves so we keep my hair healthy and looking exactly how I want. She is also helpful in recommending the proper products for my hair and in answering any questions I have. The receptionists are so friendly and helpful, them alone can make your day! I have been when they had two different ones but both have been fabulous and friendly. It's a super warm and welcoming environment. I have heard from numerous staff that the owner is really great about keeping the energy that way within the space and with staff, I can tell it's great! It was my first time here, and I was very nervous, as I have had a few bad experiences in Chattanooga. I came across some photos on Instagram and it said the stylist was Melanie, so that is who I scheduled my appointment with. I had no idea Melanie is a master stylist l, but it did put me more at ease. She listened to my concerns, and asked me what my end goal is with my hair. My favorite part of the experience was that she listened to what I wanted and didn't try to convince me of what she thought would be best for me. I love this salon! It's located on manufacturers road and has a parking lot right next to it so it's very convenient. There are a number of spots right next to the salon that are reserved for the salon so you don't have to pay for parking. Inside it is very neat and modern. It's always very clean. I get my hair cut by Brandi. She always does a great job, she takes her time and makes sure to understand exactly what I want every time. Yes, it's a nice salon with a pleasant atmosphere - no loud, pounding music, courteous staff, and there are bowls of chocolate scattered about - but my review is primarily for Amberjill. This is the third salon I've followed this wonderful stylist to, and I'll continue to follow her wherever she may go. She does a great job with my baby fine hair, and - unlike other places I've gone to - it still looks fantastic even after a couple of months without a cut or trim. I'm originally from NYC and used to have my hair done at some of the finest salons - Vidal Sassoon, George Michael of Madison Avenue, Kenneth's, etc. - and Amberjill is right up there with the best of them. Y'ALL. The owner BLOCKED ME FROM THEIR INSTAGRAM. She is the most immature business owner I have EVER experienced. I extensions done there, and they were INCORRECTLY PUT IN. When I went to get them taken out, I had 6 girls crowded around me at a different salon completely TAKEN ABACK about what Pasha did to my hair. They just kept saying "Oh my God" and "I've never seen anything like this" *****THE FLAKES IN THE PICTURES IS GLUE!!!!***** I brushed my hair properly and took care of my extensions, washed them regularly, rinsed them thoroughly, never fell asleep with them wet, was gentle when brushing and brushed them in sections I followed every single instruction and followed the what-not-to-do's. I was left with multiple bald spots, scabs, and my hair LITERALLY DREADLOCKED because of how closely the extensions were placed. The girls at the new salon I went to said it was 100% and completely not my fault, because i wouldn't be able to fit the brush in between the extensions due to how poorly and close together they were placed. There were multiple occasions where the extensions completely ripped out chunks of my hair. I went back twice, once when a chunk of my hair ripped out, and once in which a bead was loose and paid $10 to get a single bead fixed. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I'm filing for small claims court tomorrow to get my money back. This is completely ridiculous and unprofessional. read more

When I tell you that Alexa went above and beyond, it's a total understatement. This was the best experience I've ever had at a salon. I went in with zero expectations and left with a whole new relationship with my hair. I would have been satisfied with a quick 20 minute trim appointment, however she had me in her chair for at least an hour while she transformed my straight, frizzy hair into the most incredible, naturally curly mane. I didn't even know my hair had that potential. She is so knowledgable when it comes to natural texture, and the best part was how eager she was to share that knowledge with me. I was actually speechless when she was finished. Alexa was the main topic at my work the next day after everyone saw the drastic change in my hair. Two of my coworkers booked appointments with her right away. I truly can't recommend her enough. She's everything you could ask for in a hair stylist! read more
