We had a great experience with Bay Area Wall Mounts, and I especially want to recognize our…read moretechnician, Ismat, who was courteous, professional, punctual, and clearly experienced with this type of installation. Before choosing a company, I compared several TV mounting businesses on both Yelp and Google. I ultimately decided on Bay Area Wall Mounts because of their established reviews and the photos of their previous work, and I'm glad I did. Ismat installed our 65" LG C6 TV along with an LG S95TR soundbar above our fireplace and mantel. I was initially unsure whether the fireplace and mantel would make the installation more difficult, but he handled it without any issues and made sure everything was centered, level, and positioned properly. One of the biggest things I wanted was a clean installation with no visible cords. They were able to create a power bridge system that concealed the wiring and routed everything to a nearby outlet. They also left us with additional connectivity so we can add two more HDMI devices in the future. The finished setup looks very clean and professional. The price was fair, although perhaps a little on the higher side compared with some options I looked at. That said, I would rather pay for quality workmanship and have the job done correctly than simply choose the cheapest option, especially when mounting an expensive TV above a fireplace. Overall, I'm very happy with the finished result and the quality of the installation. I wouldn't hesitate to use Bay Area Wall Mounts again for any future TV mounting needs, and I would definitely recommend Ismat and the team.

We have been so pleased with our new surround sound. 3 years and it's still one of our favorite things we've done. When our Frame TV's backlight died (do not recommend), we were so happy with his work the first time around, we didn't bother calling anyone else. Rob and Alex are very friendly. They are extremely knowledgeable and do excellent work. It is always a good price as well. We also did a fireplace build-out so one of the speakers had to be removed for that. We had them move the speaker and mount our new (and much better) TV. Highly recommend working with these guys!

Exceptional craftsmanship, professionalism, and care…read more I had two TVs mounted today -- my new 77" Samsung and my existing 65" Sony Bravia -- and I couldn't be happier with the service. The installations were not exactly straightforward. The main TV was going over an original brick fireplace, and I chose a pull-down mount, which requires much more precision and skill than a standard TV mount. I'm the daughter of a long line of carpenters, so I tend to notice how someone approaches their work. From the moment Jay arrived, I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable and skilled. He took the time to prepare properly, worked confidently and carefully, and I could immediately relax knowing that everything was going to be mounted securely and correctly. Watching someone who truly knows what they're doing is such a pleasure. He was also incredibly clean and respectful of my home. His wife worked alongside him throughout the installation, and the two of them were exceptionally efficient without ever making the work feel rushed. He was also wonderfully resourceful. I had planned to purchase a separate bracket for my soundbar, but he found an elegant way to attach it using the existing TV mount, saving me about $90 while actually giving me a cleaner-looking installation. I really appreciated that he wasn't just there to install things -- he was thinking about the best solution for my setup. The entire experience was professional, thoughtful, efficient, and beautifully done. Both TVs look fantastic, everything feels extremely secure, and the work area was left spotless. Highly recommend. It's rare to find someone who combines technical skill, craftsmanship, efficiency, and genuine care for the finished result. I would absolutely use him again.

They came through on time, and knocked the job out in a little over an hour. I opted for conduit vs a recessed cable run, but it looks super clean and professional, as I envisioned. Should I decide to go in-wall in the future, I will definitely call them back to take on the job.

Title: Beware of Scam…read more I reached out to this handyman for a small drywall installation project. We agreed on a price between $800-$900, and set a date for the work to begin. Everything seemed fine until the day before the appointment, when he suddenly asked me to send $250 via Zelle for materials. I had never met him before and wasn't comfortable prepaying a stranger. I politely offered to meet him at Home Depot and pay for the materials directly, but he declined and canceled the job. If someone cancels a project just because you won't send money in advance, that's a red flag. Be cautious.

We had an outlet fairly near the TV, and wanted the cable to be invisible, but what with the Pro's cable not being rated to go inside the wall, and the location of the studs, it was complicated. Anthony talked us through the options, and periodically showed us what he'd found inside the wall and what that meant for the installation plan. Often when I hire home-service professionals, I feel nervous because they don't really explain what they're doing or why it's the best solution; but I felt like I could trust Anthony completely.
