Dr Pasha and his team were incredible. Very professional atmosphere, the office itself is clean and beautiful, state of the art for sure. The filling and x-rays took less than an hour. I watched a lecture with the smart glasses they provide you with while getting the service done. Easy to make an appointment online and they open on weekends which is a huge plus. Definitely recommend. Thank you ! read more

My visit was an overall great experience! Dr Pasha and his team were extremely informative and did a great cleaning. He answered any/all questions I had and the process was seamless; from scheduling (and rescheduling) my appointment to the service itself. I'm very happy that I went there, and I look forward to going back! read more

It would be nice if their dental hygienist actually cleaned my teeth with the proper tools instead of just brushing my teeth. None of my plaque was removed! What am I even paying money out of payment for? read more

Dr. Pasha and his team are very lazy. I paid $250 out of pocket for a thorough cleaning, and they told me I had "no plaque." Well guess what? I went to a free cleaning at NYU and they had to spend about 45 minutes removing plaque and tartar from my teeth. Unbelievable. Their Polish Dental Assistant was also rude and racist. She needs to be fired. read more

All the 5 stars are well deserved. Just incredible. I've had some medical fear and phobias in my time, and spent all last night with a toothache panicking. A quick search from a local neighborhood group and I found some recommendations for a same day appointment at the end of the day. I was beyond anxious, and walked for 20 minutes before my appointment. Dread in my veins at every step. Well. Dr. Pasha was single handledly one of the best medical experiences of my life, and bar none the BEST dentist. Every single moment was calm, professional, soothing... every step was him saying, 'now I'm going to do this', reviewing everythingguilt-trip and explaining it in a remarkably calm, useful, caring manner. I had one cavity and a small gum infection to clear up (medicated toothpaste? Who knew) but tonight I am beyond relieved. (No, it's not the gas talking - I didn't need a damn thing to calm me, because this dentist's spirit was the calm I needed). He must have been a painter in a previous life because I barely felt anything, and even the cavity was fine. He didn't guilt trip me, and he and the hygienist were an absolute pairs figure-skater coordinated in a tiny space with all the instruments. I had green calming glasses on, listened to the Beatles (ha!), and walked out of there absolutely giddy with relief. Brenda, the receptionist, handed me a completed claims form - she went onto my insurance site and FILLED OUT THE CLAIM and provided an itemized receipt. I was overwhelmed and started to tear up a bit in the office, and he said, "I can see you've had some tough experiences". I thanked him for every little calming thing he and his team did - because everyone in medicine is a God and Goddess and always will be - and waltzed into the cold Brooklyn air. Every single day I as a designer try to inject joy and meaning into everything I do, and I just got told how to design the best, most delightful experience from a dentist. I hope we all find a Dr. Pasha to take care of us when we're anxious and scared and sick. I am beyond blessed tonight and incredibly thankful to have found this wonderful team. I never saw myself giving a review and smiling about a dentist, but these people deserve all the stars and more. read more

I visited Pasha Dental in Brooklyn and had a surprisingly painless experience. Dr. Pasha was honest, professional, and didn't push upsells. Highly recommended! read more

Dr. Pasha is easily the best dentist I've ever had, and I've had more than 10 at this point (lots of moving around). He's honest, kind, doesn't push procedures on you, and when you do need a procedure, he's got the skills and tools to compete with the best. read more

Dr. Pasha is simply the best medical professional I've ever dealt with. He LISTENS to his clients. He actually is involved in the cleaning and care of your teeth. He embodies the practitioner aspect of his practice..engaged in hands on healing. I recommend him to all my friends etc. read more

It's rare I feel compelled to leave a Yelp review, but this is by far the BEST dentist I've visited in my life. First of all, the office is exceptionally clean. Dr. Pasha and his staff are incredibly warm and professional. They are very thorough and always checking in throughout the process. For a normal cleaning/visit I'm usually in and out within 30 minutes. If I need any work done, they always provide me with options and never come across as pushy. Can't recommend Pasha Dental enough! read more

This guy is literally my favorite dentist out of any I have ever seen in my life - I don't get to see him regularly because of my terrible dental insurance, but when I went to see him after not having visited for 6 years, he generously accommodated me even though I am not a regular patient! on top of doing great work (which he stands by 100% even after long spans of time) and seemingly having the latest tools, he is very personable, i hope my insurance situation changes so I can return back to this dentist on the reg! read more

We have been seeing Dr. Pasha for about 10 years. We are always blown away by his gentle, honest care for our teeth, but also for us as human beings. I really couldn't mention all the ways he goes above and beyond for his clients. There's too many and I'll probably forget some. As someone who's lived a lot of different places and had many different dentists, I can say this with the upmost confidence: * Dr. Pasha is the first dentist that I have been able to trust completely. * As we started our family and added children to the mix, Dr. Pasha has worked VERY well with them for routine cleanings. He has been patient and honest about their dental care. Our family VERY HIGH RECOMMENDS Dr. Pasha. read more

My lifelong dentists retired and moved to Florida so I had to find a new practice. Dr. Pasha's staff verified my insurance coverage prior to my first appointment. The office feels comfortable. I especially loved the wallpaper in the bathroom- tropical and when you look up at the ceiling you will see monkeys drinking vodka ROTFLOL. Dr. Pasha gave me an iPod to control the music during my appointment and totally accommodated my odd request for 90's east coast gangsta rap. The check-up and cleaning were totally painless. I appreciated the orange creamsicle cleaning paste. I left the office with a goody bag containing a brand new copper quip, special toothpaste for dry mouth, a tongue scraper and some other items. Definitely exceeded my expectations. read more

His office is clean and comfortable. His staff members are kind, helpful and professional. Dr. Pasha's knowledge and charm easily disarms even the most anxious dental patient and makes a dental cleaning less intimidating and uncomfortable. His dental cleanings are gentle and thorough. Will come back again for my yearly cleaning! read more

I am so grateful I found him. This was the most enjoyable dental visit I've ever had. He was professional, kind, to the point, educational, anxiety calming, and no unnecessary small talk (maybe that was just for me but it worked for me). He provides this iPod and you choose the music for your appointment. Due to COVID, when he cleans the teeth he uses this big clear mouth separator (hard to explain)- that really made my experience great! I didn't have to focus on keeping my mouth a certain way during my cleaning. He also saw the beginnings of cavities forming, but told me he didn't plan on touching them but maybe moving forward. This was helpful for my anxiety of fillings! I can be prepared for my next/ future appointments by knowing and seeing potential problems at this original visit. Really 10/10 experience. read more

The waiting room was super quaint, clean, bright, and really artsy. Right when you walk in you see a Banksy piece which was pretty cool/welcoming. The receptionist was very helpful and knew exactly what to do. Instead of filling paperwork online, you fill it out on an iPad. I thought the office was really swanky. The colors are warm and there are other Banksy pieces on the wall scattered throughout. I almost felt like I was at Urbanoutfitters with all the different types of mirrors they had along the walls. The dental assistant (didn't get to catch her name) was very pleasant and helpful. She was also the receptionist and she took my x-rays. She was gentle with taking x-rays and I always dislike that part because that plastic piece always makes me wanna gag. Moving along.. when you think of dentists you think of scary drills and everything coming at you! Dr. Pasha was all about making the experience comfortable. First he allows you to listen to your own music by asking you what your music preference is and what to put on Pandora. When he was cleaning my teeth, I honestly couldn't even feel anything I didn't know which tooth he was working on because he wasn't stabbing at my gums. He was gentle- as other people have said in their reviews. I told him that the fluoride part was my least favorite part of cleaning- because it feels like grittiness on my teeth and I usually have a nasty mint flavor. Well, surprisingly- Pasha Dental has 9 different flavors! I chose the cake batter. Honestly, it made my experience that much better. I just moved from Las Vegas to NY and I loved my dentist there, so this office is a great transition! read more

I can't recommend this place enough!!! After graduating from college, I was no longer welcome at my pediatric dentist. The banana chair and complimentary "great smile" stickers, I was told, were for "the next generation of toothed baby mammals." All of a sudden I was forced to fend for myself; to find my own "grown up" dentist. It sucked! My first attempt was to get a cleaning from a Dentist who had a Groupon special. Holy s*** that was a big mistake. This lady nearly tore out my gums and tried to lie about finding cavities just to push additional services. I was already terrified of dentists and this certainly did not help. Eventually I moved to Brooklyn with my wife and started working for a company that offered dental benefits. We did a little research and were impressed with the reviews of for Pasha Dental. It was close by in an area with good street parking; that sealed the deal. We had no trouble booking back-to-back appointments on a Saturday morning with a few week's notice. You can tell from the moment you walk through the door that this is a patient-centric practice. The space is clean and inviting, the staff are helpful and friendly. They make everything easy with their paperless system and offer very reasonable prices for non-insurance covered procedures. Dr. Pasha is a highly competent, compassionate dental professional and a really great guy. He is sensitive to those with any level of dental anxiety and gives you free reign over the music that plays during your appointment. Your dental history is available on a computer in the room and you can see your x-rays almost immediately after they're taken. My wife and I have had about 3 or 4 cleanings and one filling repair here and couldn't imagine shlepping out pearly whites anywhere else. We've decided that, even if we move to a different borough, as long as we have teeth we will continue to go to Dr. Pasha at his stellar South Slope practice. read more

Pasha Dental - Pasha Dental storefront in the afternoon sun - General Dentistry Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Been coming here for six-ish years. Pasha and his staff are the best. I can't say I look forward to going to the dentist, but if I have to go - there's no other place I'd rather be. The first time I went there the hygienist was playing music, which I appreciated - I think they've continued doing that. I think NPR the last few times I was there? Down with that. They have a laser device that for dealing with cavities. Compared to the novocaine and the drill, it's a massive upgrade. Pasha has a good sense of humor which I really appreciate. Nice, thorough dude and he's not trying to rush through his patients. High marks for dentist-chair-side-manner. The Pitt and Clooney chairs are pretty funny too. Not sure if that's intentionally funny but man- I get a good laugh out of that every time. read more

Dr Pasha is an excellent dentist. Very helpful and actually knows what he's doing. Will definitely be back for more, but happily coming back. read more

My dental experience at Pasha Dental was extremely pleasant. The waiting room is clean and quite charming. (where else can you sit on George Clooney's face???) The staff is sweet and attentive. As for the Dentist himself... he answered all my questions with patience and made sure I understood all the dental terminology. (He also plays your favorite bops while he does his work on your teeth) I haven't been to a dentist in about 4 years and this was a painless and terror-free visit. Definitely looking forward to my next visit and would recommend this place for your dental needs. read more

Great experience! His office was very clean, staff very professional and Dr. Pasha very knowledgeable, honest, professional, thorough, and respectful. He has ensured that patients have a quite positive and pleasant experience from the moment one walks in. There are a lot of thoughtful planning he has implemented for the entire visit (e.g. thorough compliance with covid preventive measures, vaseline for lips before procedures/cleaning, your own selection of spotify music with the remote control handed to you, an aromatic warm towel for face wiping at the end, a goody bag, your choice of flavor for teeth polishing, etc). Above all, he is a very honest doctor. I have been recommending him to all my colleagues. I highly recommend him to anyone else as well. read more

I have to agree with the person who said his clinical skills just aren't there yet. He's such a nice guy, and the experience overall is great - I mean, it's a clean practice, well run, everyone's really professional and nice. But if you need cavities filled, I can't recommend him. I'd been having trouble with a filling he'd done - I could no longer floss and my gum was bleeding frequently. I went to another dentist recommended by my coworkers, and they said that some material was mistakenly left there when the filling was done and was irritating the gum. They also said the filling was so close to the nerve that to fix it might have to be crowned. I guess anyone can have a bad day and make a mistake. But for now I'm going elsewhere. I'm sure in ten years he'll be really great! read more

Great dentist. Very nice and attentive, have good advice and did good work. Came in to get what i thought a cavity checked out. Turned out to not be one so i got a cleaning done. I really liked the tools he used.. was none of that scraping or poking gums. Maybe it's just my case. I'll be back and recommend. read more

I haven't been on Yelp in ages and like most people I only feel compelled, for the most part, to write reviews for either extremely bad or absurdly phenomenal experiences. Fortunately my experience with Dr. Pasha falls into the latter category. It all started when I decided to move from LA to NYC via a few months touring with a friends band in Europe. Upon arrival I was a little short on funds, without any insurance, and a bit of a toothache. Thus started my search for an affordable, well reviewed dentist - I found affordable to be a much better search term than cheap when it comes to people putting their fingers in your mouth. After several internet reviews and phone calls later I found myself debating between Dr. Pasha and NYU dental school. It seemed that if all I had was a cavity it would be cheaper and faster to go to a dentist vs NYU dental. The obvious choice was to be an optimist in this situation. Plus, I found out about some pretty seedy regarding NYU online. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to catch Dr. Pasha himself on the other end of my phone call when his receptionist temporarily stepped out. Okay, long story short: Dr. Pasha gave me the best dentist experience of my life. Actually, not only that, he gave me a pretty amazing story to tell on top if it all. He tried to save my tooth but eventually it had to be extracted and we'll just say a lot happened in between. How many people walk around talking about how much they love their dentist? Definitely the only health care professional I've come across I could see myself grabbing a beer with but, you know, then things might get weird. That would be like hanging out with one of the strippers from your favorite strip club outside of work - maybe a bad metaphor but I can't think of anything else. If you have any problem that requires a dentist and you don't go to Dr. Pasha then your life will forever feel like it's missing something. I mean, just google the guy and you'll he's a suave one. Not that you need your dentist to be suave but it's a plus, right? If you're reading this Dr. Pasha, I can't thank you enough! read more

Dr. Pasha and his team are absolutely amazing! A few weeks ago, I came to Pasha Dental after I broke half of one of my front teeth. That same day, Dr. Pasha was able to put in a temporary crown until the real crown was ready. Last night (at 8 pm----yes, 8PM! -hes SUPER ACCOMMODATING!!!), Dr. Pasha put in my permanent crown without a hitch and also shaved down my other front tooth to align with the new one. It looks and feels great!! Pasha is super flexible and goes above and beyond. The office is very accommodating and all staff are very responsive. Another plus is they are up-to-date with modern technology. You receive email/text reminders about your appointments and you can schedule them online! No real paper forms to fill out! What!? Yes! You can definitely rely on this guy for all of your general dentistry needs. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I definitely would. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! If you are looking for a great dentist and are like myself, rely on reviews from others, look no further and call his office ASAP! read more

Dr. Pasha is great and pretty affordable as far as dentistry goes. He's a gentle dentist but his personality makes me just want to hang out with the guy. And he knows his stuff, especially as easy going as he is. Gave me the full details on some minor dental work and his honest opinion and gave me time to decide myself if the cost was worth it. Honestly, one of the best finds in my neighborhood. You'd walk right past his office if you didn't hear about it like I did from a friend. Check him out. Sad to be moving away and not keeping him as my dentist. read more

I have been going to Dr. Pasha for 4 years now and have no complaints. Every time I schedule an appointment parking is not a problem and I am in the doctors chair within 5 minutes (I don't think I have ever waited long). The receptionist is very sweet and has you in and out in no time. Dr. Pasha is very attentive and always starts every visit with asking you "What you would like to listen to on Pandora?" (never fails). He is super attentive and explains everything very thoroughly every time i'm there. Also, the office and equipment are new and very clean. I highly recommend if you are looking for a good dentist in the neighborhood, I have been to a few bad ones which looked to do work in my mouth every time I was there. I'm glad I finally found a dentist that i'm not afraid to go to! **Be sure to checkout the George Clooney and Brad Pitt chairs in the reception area, I still have no idea why those are there ?!? read more

I live in the neighborhood and noticed this dental office while it was being remodeled. The clean modern interior and bright colored walls with stenciled artwork were certainly inviting so I decided to make an appointment for my 7 year old daughter. And what's even better is they take my insurance! (which you'll come to find when you do your research that not a lot of dental offices do!) I walked in on a Friday to make the appointment, they made the appointment for the following Monday, and when we went in on Monday, we didn't wait long at all including the procedural intake process, which by the way is completely paperless (yay trees!) The best part of the visit was our experience with Dr. Pasha. While this isn't a pediatric dental office, it is fully equipped with things to make children feel comfortable like animal shaped tooth polishers, flavored fluoride and goody bags at the end of the visit! Dr. Pasha himself was very gentle and personable, answered all of my questions and didn't try to cash in on every cavity (and there were a few!). Will definitely come back here for all of our dental needs. Time to schedule appointments for my husband and me! read more

My boyfriend needed a tooth removed & recommended by a friend this is where we came... & we both felt very comfortable and were very please with how he proceeded with the procedure. Very quick but the job was well done. I myself have a fear of dentist and I know I have a few cavities and I think I finally found a dentist who I am confident and not so much afraid of! The staff as well were very welcoming and sweet! Great office, great neighborhood and very clean! Overall, I can definitely say we will be coming up for future dental visits!!! read more

I hate going to the dentist due to childhood trauma and I'm extremely nervous even if it's a regular cleaning. I reluctantly booked an appointment with Dr Pasha's office partly because it's around the corner from my house, partly because I really needed to get all the pieces of various food stuck in my teeth for months due to my poor flossing habits. And lo and behold there was no judgment from this doctor at all! I was so happy with him and his staff. First of all there's no wait at all. Second, Dr Pasha is not a pushy salesman. As long as it doesn't bother you or him, he won't recommend unnecessary dental work and I trust him and his staff completely. I had to go back again because of some pain in my jaw and Dr Pasha said to wait a month as it was likely due to stress and night grinding. Pain went away after a couple of weeks, as he had predicted and I wasn't charged! Third, he'll let you pick his own music - he doesn't judge you for your taste in it either. And last but not least, he's pretty cute! A honest, calm, patient and gentle dentist is rare to find and I'm slowly becoming less and less of an anti-dentite :) read more

I love, love, love Pasha, and this is big for me to say because I have always hated going to the dentist... well, it's more like, I've always been terrified of the dentist. Since I started seeing him (yesterday was the third time), I actually look forward to it - Ok, I look forward to the goody bags and the variety of flavorful polishing pastes - but I don't mind going to get my teeth clean. It does not hurt, I don't bleed and my gums are not sore afterwards. His receptionist is a sweetheart, and he is the nicest, kindest and sweetest person. They always make me feel so comfortable and relaxed. Pasha has definitely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I don't know what will happen if I ever have to leave NYC - Guess I'll be driving long distances or taking flights just to get my teeth checked! - I'm serious. read more

I had an outstanding experience with Dr. Pasha - I recommend him to anyone and everyone! I had the beginnings of a dental emergency and I was able to get an appointment right away. I have major dental phobia, so being new to the city I was concerned about the quality of dentist I went to see - I am so glad I happened to find Dr. Pasha!!! Since the office did not take my insurance, he gave me a great referral for the work I needed to have done. He was very attentive, respectful, and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and gave me all the information I needed. I read one review in which the person referred to their experience as "fantastic". I thought, wow, I have never used that word in any sort of association with dental work - however, after having an appointment I have to agree. read more

Let me start out by saying normally I hate going to the dentist, it gives me anxiety. This is probably the first time I really did not mind being there. Dr Pasha was very helpful, he answered all my questions. I told him I was worried about my one tooth which he took extra time to look at, turns out it was fine. On top of him being super nice and taking extra time to make sure he checks everything well, you can pick your own pandora station while you are getting worked on and the decor is super awesome. He was also affordable, which is great, considering I don't have insurance. I will be going back there the next time I need to visit a dentist that is for sure. read more

It's really hard to find a great dentist. When I moved to Park Slope I was so sad to leave my old dentist and so scared to find a new one! I am so happy yelp led me to Dr. Pasha. Let me list the reasons why I love my new dentist: Late hours - I was able to make an appointment at 5:00. Super clean and cool office - Pristine, peaceful, and trendy. They even have an espresso maker (if you want to get one last teeth stain in before your cleaning). Also, they are eco-friendly, so all of the "paperwork" is done on iPads. Lastly, Dr. Pasha plays your favorite music on Pandora during your cleaning. Dr. Pasha himself - He's professional, friendly, and just a really good damn dentist. He does everything except the X-rays... I loved my last dentist but I literally saw her for 5 minutes when she counted my teeth with that little tool. The dentist hygienist did everything else. Not Dr. Pasha - he gets down and dirty with his patients. I also have super sensitive teeth and normally DREAD cleaning.... But Dr. Pasha was soooo gentle and used only water pressure - no scraping. My teeth were sparkling and happy. read more

I never write reviews but Dr Pasha is ridiculous..... in a good way. Cleanliness - The Place is always clean and modern. The Bathroom has all this fancy stuff and includes Hand Towels that are washed as its better for the environment. Customer Service - Dr Pasha is definitely a super smart guy but he's not an alpha. He's super calm and patient. He's just someone you feel so comfortable around. He doesn't judge you. He isn't selling you anything and is not pushy. Skill- I had a few cavities on Xray. I immediately was scared shitless for the drilling about the happen. Instead he says that he actually the FIRST doctor in Brooklyn to remove cavities by LASER. 20 minutes later all the cavities were gone without any needles or pain. If you have a cavity and you go elsewhere after reading this - Thats on you. The guy is super gentle and I have never felt pain once in his chair. Wait time - He under books on purpose so theres no waits. Been going to him years and I have never waited to see him. He would rather make less money than make his customers wait. Who does that? The Experience - Dr Pasha Is constantly finding new ways to improve your experience. He's ridiculous....in a good way. You start by walking into this modern and super clean place. The waiting room is stocked with Free Cappuccino and Organic beverages and a huge TV for you to use as you please. Super cool waiting room but again theres really no wait so your not there long. You walk into Dr Pasha's room and he gives you Noise Canceling Headphones and you get to pick music to listen to while he works. He is super gentle in the chair. Then before you know it he's offering you a warm towel on your way out. It's like being in a spa. Dr Pasha is the one Doctor we look forward to going to. Just a great experience with him every-time we go. read more

Dr. Pasha is THE BEST! So much better than any dentist I've ever had in my life. I've recommended him to several friends and they all gush and rave about the guy.
