I…read morediscovered they had overfilled my oil by 1.8 quarts when I got the next oil change and the tech at Valvoline reported the engine had 9.5 quarts of oil in the engine (they extracted the oil before putting new oil in). That's almost 25% more oil than the recommended level. My vehicle is now compromised. An overfill of this magnitude can cause oil aeration, excessive crankcase pressure, seal damage, and potential long-term harm to the turbochargers and hybrid components.

Brand new truck should be under warranty, but they are giving me a bill over $1,000 to fix a "broken wire." Shared my experience with a letter to service manager, and nobody will talk to me. I'm hoping to get my truck back sometime soon, before they charge me for more "broken wires." Watch out for these guys!!

I said I would like a new car and to look into a bigger model , well golly gee in 2 months my car is worth 7,000 dollars less. Yea, not happening. The trade in I got for my Durango was 2,000 less than it should have been and they sold it For a pretty penny. When I took my 2015 Durango in they tried to charge me 2 times for diagnostics. This place is absolutely horrible, I had bought every vehicle I owned from here and the last two should have never happened. Shame on me. After I paid for the services I went out and started my car. While in park, my car felt like it was going to die. Then when I was driving at a slow speed and then accelerated it would slightly shake. When I was driving at a normal speed my car seemed fine. I ended up bringing my car to my regular mechanic because there was fluid on my garage floor the day after my oil change, I could smell something burning and my car still felt like it was going to die at a slow speed/in park. My mechanic then notified me that there was a total of 10 quarts of oil that was added at my recent oil change on Monday. I was also informed that having this much oil could have caused my engine to blow and seize the entire engine.

I've always felt like I got a good deal on a very good, low-mileage vehicle that will last. Kudos to the service/detail crew as the used vehicles look brand new when I received it. The one time I did have an issue with the oldest vehicle I purchased, Jacobsen stood behind it and I had no issue getting it fixed under extended insurance I took out on it. These are the reasons I had continued to purchase from Jacobsen, and will continue to in the future.
