We ordered 1/2 a bushel of crabs, 5 lbs steamed spiced shrimp and 3lbs of crab legs for a small birthday party. Everything was cooked perfectly. The crabs were medium size and full of crab meat. Tons of Old Bay, just how we like them. The shrimp were large, no over cooked. Tons of spice and flavor. Crab legs were full of meat and delicious. I definitely recommend Pasadena Seafood. Our steamed crabs were worth the wait! They were true to size, meaty, seasoned just right, and fresh! We took soft crabs home to cook and clean for later and they were great too! We only recently found this gem tucked away in a neighborhood shopping strip. The customer service is as good as the seafood! We'll keep coming back! read more

I drove by your business a few days ago and read your reviews online. Today, I decided to make a purchase for my family and friends. I just moved to the area and your location is near my home. Visiting your location with excitement, I felt proud to support a local business and develop a relationship for years to come and more. However, my dreams were quickly diminished. Quite frankly, my experience was absolutely terrible. Customer service was subpar from the male at the register. From the time I walked in, he seemed annoyed at my presence. I would like to believe that most people will have questions and the task of performing your job as an employee, should not be a burdensome experience for new customers. Consumers will come to you all as the experts in your respective industry. Therefore, someone knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly should represent your business. Your employees are a reflection of your business and that responsibility is not suitable for some. Called (and they were patient and kind) to see if they had fresh soft crabs, and they did not disappoint, the price was great the crabs were huge, alive and cooked and staff was very nice and allowed me to pick the ones I preferred off the tray..... We've ordered quite a few items from here including: fried clams, steamed shrimp and crabs but the last time we ordered the crabs on special we were very dissatisfied. The crabs were small and just not of good quality. We ended up throwing quite a few of them away, which was a waste of a bushel of crabs. We are on the fence, as to whether or not we will order food again. If we do, it probably won't be crabs. read more

Just picked up medium male crabs. They were not even legal size let alone mediums! Mediums they said were 5 1/2 to 6 inches long. I called to let them know that my crabs were not mediums and they brushed me off and even got rude with me on the phone. Very disappointed with Pasadena seafood. read more

I have been getting steamed crabs and corn from this establishment for the past 2 years and I was always been completely satisfied. Today though, my wife and I were disappointed. I ordered 18 large males and they were all about 6" and light. They were not seasoned well either. The steamed Md Eastern Shore corn was not that good either. It was luke warm and I live less than 5 minutes from the restaurant. I guess I will be going back to Kent Island Seafood. read more

Attempted to call to order several pounds of shrimp at 7:40 and was asked "what time are you going to pick this up" to which I told them in approximately 20 minutes. They then told me that they were closing at 8 and I would be arriving too late. Kent Island Seafood provided much better service and much better pricing whenever I called them immediately after. Either fix your hours on your website or provide better service to your customers. There's too many seafood restaurants in Pasadena to give business to a restaurant that doesn't care about their customers. read more

Check a few places on yelp and decided on this place. We ordered 5 dozen of large crabs since they didn't have a whole bushel. Was disappointed when I remembered they never ask me what seasoning I wanted. I asked if it was old bay and they told me it's too late and they already use regular seasoning and they will see what they can do but ever confirm back so it was a surprise when we got home . But was more disappointing was after my 5 dozen of large crabs were done. I ask if they can throw in 2 rolls of the table top papers. I got a straight NO I can't do nothing for you and say it's a $1.06 a roll. I say you can't throw 2 rolls after I just spend $235? He say nope. I was wow. But the sad part was I guess their regular customer 20mins ago picked up him order and just took a couple rolls and they say it's ok. It's not about the $2.12 which my friend paid because we going back to our rental home. But most place we go to before offers or say don't worry about it because they appreciate our order. But at the end of day they don't have to give us anything but I experience most businesses want to take care of their customers. read more

I have to agree with Tobyas L. I also have had a few uncomfortable experiences with the male at the register. He doesn't welcome you, never smiles, and acts like you are annoying him. My fiancé and I came across this place on our drive down from New York to Richmond, Va. Let me first say this place is AWESOME! Ordered 2 dz Med Male crabs yesterday 8/27/15. Cost us $70. About 25% of the crabs were lite!!!! They sell lite crabs for $1 but paid a lot more and were very disappointed and will never buy from them again. Tried them because Always Best Crabs didnt answer they must have been out of crabs. read more
