I'm not really an antique shopper but the other evening Sidney P. sent me an "urgent" text along w some pics telling me I had to come by and check out the wood tables here but they were 15 min from closing so I should hurry. Sadly, I didn't see it until 30 min later cause my contractor decided to have a semi-freak out and yell at me. Crossed my fingers and came in the next day. One of the tables had sold but there were still two in stock! Really beautiful wood joints. Now to figure out how to stain or paint this bad boy. Anybody wanna help??? Lol Best of all, chris offered a great deal on top of their already insanely competitive prices and a low 10$ delivery surcharge. Handed over the cash and table was delivered less than two hours later. Wooohooo. One item down a million to go! They're doing a liquidation sale now so hopefully theyll restock w some more cool stuff! An interesting collection of furniture, arcade games, decor, furniture and even a one-eyed skeleton. Unfortunately, he was a bit out of my budget at 175 but im def gonna stop back in on occasion to check out their inventory. Came midday Sat and it was pretty easy to find free street parking in front of the shop. Really hot in there so dress accordingly.. or just shop quickly :P not a huge place so shop quickly and you can be in and out in under 15.

I drive over to Pasadena often, but for some reason had always missed this place, but it's been on my list to try. Inside is huge and filled with all sorts of great options from jewelry to clothing to books to all sorts of other things. I found a great hat by a social media brand I follow called Merch Motel in the far back and also saw a handful of other great things in the front. The staff was also polite during checkout and pricing was fair. Parking in this area is also very easy, there's a large parking garage attached with free parking. how sad. does anyone even care that this is one of the last remaining antique shops on mission in…read moresouth pas? the rest have been closed and replaced by trendy clothing boutiques, interior design crap holes and effen Bellini - the Barney's NY of baby-world. i have to frequent these places partially out of fear they may succumb to a demise not unlike the Rialto but mostly because although I can't identify the proper use of most of the utensils sold here, I still love them. the place smells of old dust, but you cant see any of it. it's quiet; they could probably use better lighting and some music. but it's filled with books, dolls, drapery, furniture, china, pictures, records, jewelry - everything. it's a hodgepodge, really, but what antique store isn't? out of my own curiosity, i'd love to be able to sit and rummage through some of the boxes and closed cabinets, but things are piled upon piles and even closed off - that's probably my only gripe. that, and the gold fish tank they have there looks a little grimy. someone needs to change their water.

I have kept it with me for years just because I felt obligated to the story. Through this info I could tell they really know their stuff. They provided details on how I could sell on my own, how to advertise, what websites to post on, how many times I should post etc....basically the tricks of their trade. They even offered to help the day of....this is with no money exchanged. They are great people who genuinely want to help and understand how to get the most money for you and how to get people in the door. In a situation such as this, where everything is overwhelming and stressful, they were the light at the end of the tunnel.

This store has a lot of antique/vintage jewelry for sale, particularly silver and semi-precious stones, as well as a good amount of costume jewelry. It also has quite a bit of home-ware, porcelain and kitchen-gadgets. Some sections can really pull you in, like old back issues of Times Magazines or other periodicals. Hodgson's is a great place to explore for an hour or so to find something unique or special for a friend or for your own home. Price-wise it's middle-of-the-road, not dirt cheap, but not super-expensive either. Worth a visit. Keep in mind that this place is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

It appears that Atomic Threshold does not respond to their customers concerns…read more   We bought a dining room table and four chairs several years ago from Atomic Threshold.  The set was used about a dozen times as we rarely entertain.  We recently moved and started to use the set again.  One of the chair legs broke horizontally just below the seat.  We called Christian Boehr in May 2020, explained the break and asked if the chair could be repaired or replaced.  He asked us to send a photo of the chair and the break, which we did.  We called, texted and emailed and never heard back.  We were surprised to be "ghosted".

We were greeted right when we came in and there was even water which was nice because it was so hot. There is a lot to see here - theres even an upstairs - but i would say this place is more for a serious buyer than a casual antiques shopper.
