I returned the costume to the store today (10/13) and asked for a refund since there was not another costume in my size. I was told that I could not return the costume due to the store only has a 10 day return policy (bought 10/3). Well according to my calculations 10/3-10/13 is TEN DAYS!!! The employee had nothing to say other than, "I wasn't here when you bought it" I stated to her that that has nothing to do with selling a costume that is torn and not wearable. Some other guy that worked there stepped in and said we have signs all over that say no refunds or exchanges as he points to a sign that about 3ft. off of the ground behind glass. I replied to him by stating, "you expect me to be able to read a sign that is 3ft. off of the ground? that is at a child's height not at an adult level". I got no response from him. Once again I asked for a refund and was told that I would not be able to return the costume for a refund. The manager just shrugged her shoulders and said sorry in a cynical manner. Now I am out $64.94 and still don't have a costume. What a great way to do business. Well Done!!

As I questioned where my chairs went and why they were moved she rudely interrupted me and pointed to her business to let me know she owned the business that was behind the chair setup. City sidewalks do not work that way MA'AM. I hope she feels really good about the example she set on Monday before parade scattering our toddler's chairs to the street. Don't complain that mine were set out early either, your husband (Chris Wilson) told me he set your chairs up at 9am. 45 minute difference from when we went. In all the years I've set up, I've never had this problem. I'm all for supporting local small businesses but will not be supporting Beatwear who thinks they're entitled to the city sidewalk.

If that was the only hitch we could deal with but immediately the male working that day started telling my emotional fiancé that he'll just take her to court before she could even try to possibly find another dress in that store or anything. He said he'll take her to court, just kept saying that. He was SO rude to her. He was trying to pressure her into keeping the dress and talking down to her. In the end he didn't refund all of her money because he said "now he has a dress nobody could buy"..... The lady (I assume the owner/manager but really have no clue) greeted us & told us that we would have to wait a few because there was another bride. We only waited less than 5 min before she began to help me. She asked me when my wedding was, my budget & what kind of dress style I was interested in. I explained to her I was looking for two kinds: short or lacey but nothing too fancy because the venue is casual. Like the previous reviewer, I too was really disappointed in their short dress selection. She right off the bat informed me that they don't really have short dresses in the shop, but directed me to pretty small selection for my budget. Sads. Quickly she picked out 4 that she thought I would like & encouraged us to look around as they found a fitting room for me. From there, she traded me off to one of the sales ladies (i had my own which was quite nice) as she went to help customers in the front. She often came back to check up on the both of us, giving input - I thought she & the sales lady i had were both really nice. The actual experience I had was cool. I didnt feel uncomfortable or pressured or anything negative. They have a cool mirror set up so you can fully see yourself & brightly lit. Of the 4 i tried, i liked 1. It was nothing that I even thought i would like, but I did. Problem is that I didnt LOVE it . But it gave me hope, & at $385, not that bad. You give them your name, phone # on a card with the dress you liked on it for their files. I'm not sure whether I should expect a telemarketer like call in a few weeks or what, or if it's really just in case I end up coming back :) Overall, my experience was pleasant, buuuut there wasn't a lot to choose from in my budget or any that really wowed me.

I loved how she told me there was no pressure in booking when I told her I was still shopping around. I also asked if she could get Princess Aurora's pink dress since I saw she only had the iridescent blue dress on her website and she said yes and was very accommodating. When she arrived she was the sweetest and stayed in character the whole time. My daughter loved her and so did the rest of the children. All the adults loved her and asked where I found her and I was of course more than happy to let them know. They loved how professional, sweet, patient, and great she was with the kiddos. He was kind, warm and took his time to get through each kid in making really unique balloons. He is worth every penny and more. He answered every call, was on time and even confirmed with me prior to the event. I had a short time to pull it together and having him calmed every bit of anxiousness knowing he was so reliable. After his performance I had many many compliments! I found him on Yelp so I felt it was only right to share the experience.
