Very helpful with balloons and gets the job done quick. Lopez has great customer service skills!

Prices are ridiculous. Selection needs a drastic update, because they really don't carry any trendy items one needs, considering fast fashion IS big business. read more

First off, it's a local store. I love supporting local when i can. I do enjoy shopping at Party Time. It's slightly more pricey than the stuff you can find online, but they have so much stuff. I love all the themed party things and the various holiday finds. I tend to pop over here for work event things and for fun events I host. And sometimes, it's just nice to go in and browse, hoping for future inspiration. Service is like anywhere else, spotty. I have had some rather crabby service and some amazingly friendly service. While I have never ordered any balloons from them, while there yesterday, i saw a couple picking up some amazing creations from them - some balloon arches as well as some other fun decorative designs. They have a special area for balloon pick up to make it easier. I'll continue to shop here for my immediate needs. read more

I had a great experience ordering online from Party Time. I live in Southern California and could not find a specifc "Toad" costumer my son wanted anywhere. I ordered it from Party Time and not only it was a great price but it arrived really well packed and faster than I expected. They also had awesome customer service, I emailed them and quickly got an answer from Wendy. I would definitely buy from them again! read more

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE COSTUMER SERVICE!!! After I SPECIFICALLY asked if items could be returned and the check out lady SPECIFICALLY said yes, just keep my receipt now they are not excepting returns on "wearables"! Then make sure your store clerks DON'T TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THAT THEY CAN RETURN ITEMS. Everything I purchased could be considered wearable! It's not like she was answering yes for only some of my purchases! She said I could return everything I bought. Absolutely RIDICULOUS! read more

Customer service is very disappointing. Wide selection of inventory but just be sure you want it before you buy it. I get that there's a return policy, but they are unwavering even on non-seasonal, non-perishable items & then rude about it too! Hey management, here's a friendly tip: build your loyal customer base by being just a little bit flexible! read more

This party is store is alright. They have a lot of beads of all colors of you are gonna be in a parade. And if you need napkins and plates they have them in all colors. I was disappointed in the bachelorette section. I went to get some games and they didn't have much of a selection. There isn't a big selection for most of the different party themes. The workers aren't too friendly either. They do have costumes as well, but it's hard to return them if it doesn't work out. read more

I am in party stores quite often, so I find myself in one at least once a quarter. This one seems to be a local business with a lot of great offerings, but mostly a lot of the same party needs that you see in those mega party stores. The customer service here has been hit and miss, sometimes terrible and sometimes fantastic. This last time that I went, it was just probably the worst. A while back, I picked up a pamphlet on a kids cupcake decorating class. So, one morning, my daughter and I decided to attend a session. Upon arrival, we were told that we had to RSVP for the event. There was NOWHERE on the pamphlet that said that it was a requirement. When I went to one of the employees/possible manager, he was speechless! He did not offer me anything, not even an apology or anything to correct the situation. Oh yeah, he did say, "the website might say it". Of course, I was like, "what is the point of having a pamphlet"? The information should have said to call to reserver a spot. Anyway, that was the last straw, I don't think I will be back here ever again. read more

I usually come here to buy my baking hobby stuff. It's like bake hobby heaven to me. The store is clean and the staff are usually friendly.

This used to be my favorite store, but things have changed. I've bought bulk rolls of ribbon that matched the bows because I wrap a lot of presents. The bows are now a different shade from the bulk ribbon..... ? Why? Now I have a ton of ribbon that doesn't match anything. Today I went to get wrapping paper and there is a small area in the front of the store with a few rolls of wrapping paper - all standard, nothing cute, unique, or fun. I started to get red & white wrapping paper, but alas, the red stripes do not match the red bows - nor my bulk roll of ribbon at home. I tried the blue & white striped paper, but alas again, it does not match the blue bows nor the bulk roll of ribbon at home. This is a huge store and is missing an opportunity to be the elite wrapping supplier in Baton Rouge. But wrapping paper/ribbons/bows are not coordinated, and the selection is extremely small and non-interesting. While the store has a lot of other great party supplies, the wrapping opportunities are very disappointing. read more

Just as many of the other reviews mentioned, the staff members are very unfriendly. Upon returning items (in the originally packaging with the original receipt within the specified timeframe), the staff member (who was the manager) pushed the return form at me and said "sign it." I asked if I could get a copy of the receipt for the return for which she stated "no" and turned away. My gosh, just poor customer service. I would shop here more often if I didn't have to interact with the staff members. They ruin this store. read more

Party Time is a great go-to store for all your costume, parade, or party needs. I like the color coded sections because it's easier to navigate through all of the stuff on the walls. They have a lot of party favors and party decorations, invitations and party planning supplies, and themed costumes and accessories. The costume purchases are non-refundable, and with that being said make sure it's something you won't mind keeping. read more

See all

Management is unbearably rude and unaccommodating. I asked about an item from the website and was treated with derision. I can't help but think the color of my skin factored into my treatment as I was basically mocked. 0/10 - do not shop here. read more

They don't fill up balloons from other businesses. Nor will they inflate balloons over 24". Bizarre rule. I'd be filling up everyones balloons if I ran that business. read more

There's no telling if what you order online will actually be in stock and the management are complete jerks. Order from them with extreme caution...or just from somewhere else. Additionally the prices are consistently higher than other places. I wanted to.support local business but these guys just don't do things the right way. read more

A bit expensive, not a ton of choices. Service is friendly, most of the time. You can find better deals online. If you order through their out of date website, it's not always well stocked. Best of luck. Party City is right around the corner. read more

Party Time on bluebonnet was advertising for 30% off of St. Patrick's day costumes and accessories. I went to check out with a green wig and they would not honor the sale. The wig was on the aisle with all of the 30% off items and even had a sign right next to it with the sale info. I mentioned this to the employee who got her supervisor involved and they were both unpleasant and rude. That is not 1 but 2 employees that rude and unpleasant. Next time I'll just go to another party store. read more

The return policy is terrible! I will never shop there again! I spend a good bit trying to stop local vs. online and I expect great customer service in return! Nope not at party time! I tried to return cake pans, and plastic items I hadn't used for my sons bday party. All we're in the original wrapping and purchased 3 days ago! No refund and no exchange or store credit. No where on the receipt did it specify the items that we're trying to be returned. I will never shop there again. Especially spending $500+ a year on crap for birthdays, school, etc. I will do online shopping and go to Michaels and hobby lobby from no on. The owner also needs to get a new manager and staff because they are lazy and extremely rude! read more

I found this place accidentally online when I was trying to order party supplies online. They have a well developed online store but the actual store is so much better! I was trying to find Frozen decorations and they were very helpful. They didn't mind going to look for items when I called in to check availability. They held items for me and I was able to pick them up, no problem. Everyone was very helpful and I'll definitely use them in the future for my party needs. read more

great selection except for the fact that i bought their fairly expensive gogo boots for a disco party and they only sold me one boot in the box. when i called they said that they close in 7 minutes so there isn't anything they can do. make sure to check the box because they sure as heck won't. read more

There's all kinds of party supplies. My 4 yrs. old granddaughter wanted a Frozen theme party. They had all kinds of things to pick from. I over bought not knowing what we would need. I asked about the return policy & it seems lenient enough. I was able to return the extra items. Friendly & helpful staff. I would shop there again. read more

Their return policy is absurd. Tried to return a toddler Halloween costume the day after we purchased and they would not accept. It was never taken out of the original packaging, with the exception being the employee who opened it so my son could try it on for size. The cashier told me she mentioned the no return policy to me, but I kindly disagreed. She said, "remember, I asked if you had tried it on?" To which I replied, "yes, you asked me that, but you did not tell me I could not return it. If I had known the policy, I would not have purchased it". She told me to speak with the GM the next morning, but he was short and offered no assistance. I have been using this store for years, but will no longer be going. There are more friendly options in town and cheaper options online. They mention customer service, but they do not know what customer service is. Beware of their online sales also...you can order a costume and checkout without one mention of their policy alerting you before your purchase. Overall, a bad experience and one they did not try to make right. Not the way to run a family business in these days where customers are foregoing in-store purchases for the ease and pricing of online sales. read more

It's a shame there are no returns on costume accessories. My daughter's Elsa shoes fell apart before she went trick-or-treating!... Needless to say, a very disappointed Elsa. :( read more

The worst NO service ever! Not that busy. Workers standing in cluster asked for assistance within the cluster. Worker stomped off saying give me a minute she will be there. Went to area where I requested assistance. Same worker passes me twice. Once with the ladder she would need to reach item requested, but did not stop, or acknowledge me. Then the second time she passes me to assist someone who just walked on the isle. Then I remembered why I stopped coming to this particular store in the beginning! Thanks for the reminder. I WILL NEVER FORGET AGAIN! read more

Party Time has everything you could want - costumes, decorations, invitations, etc. They are a bit pricey, the employees are not helpful and in fact are downright rude. And their return policy is AWFUL. I tried to return several items that I'd had for less than 24-hours, all unopened in the original packaging, and with my original receipt in hand. They refused. When I argued and complained all I got was "sorry" as the so-called manager turned his back on me and walked away. Actually I tried to only give this 2-1/2 stars but your system wouldn't let me. It's not worth 3 full stars. read more
