I used this business for wedding invitations and took lots of time to meet with them to go over exactly what was expected. My wedding invitations were not only late but multiple items were missing when they were sent out. For example: there was no ribbon, wax seal or onion skin paper. Please tell me how you send out wedding invitations unfinished? I just don't understand. The owner would only respond by email. It's two years later and I still can't believe how unprofessional this was therefore, I felt lead to leave a review to discourage others from feeling this way.

My mom, daughter, and I checked it out today and we're lucky to find a parking spot as the small lot was full and so was the side road off Government. Tip: the entrance and parking are not facing Government Street, so look for the big "FLEURTY GIRL" sign on the building then turn down the side road. I was surprised to see just how much this store has! Everything from cute LSU and Saints boutique clothes, shoes, purses, earrings, etc to hilarious coasters and dish towels. Cute items for fans of Dolly, Taylor Swift, the Golden Girls, etc. Too much to type, so my advice is if you need a gift, go to Fleurty Girl! Definitely can find something Louisiana natives will love and cherish or something to make everyone laugh. Prices seem reasonable too, so have fun shopping!

The store is located at Government Street and Terry Drive, and there is a small parking lot associated with it. Street parking is also available if there are a lot of customers when you visit. The store has all the favorites -LSU, SU, and Saints attire, body glitter, the infamous t-shirts, the door hangers, quippy housewares, earrings, socks, baby items, and so much more. Staff was really friendly and appropriately attentive. They allow you to try on items in the shared bathroom (there is a small nail salon and small hair salon also on the property). Hopefully they will start to have more Baton Rouge specific art and items in the store and adapt to the area (like they did in Bay St. Louis). Lots of their items are very New Orleans focused, but i assume with time, that could change. Looking forward to seasonal visits to check out all the things! Thanks for finally making your way to BTR!

I vowed that next time I was in Baton Rouge I'd have to visit the real deal! And I didn't break my promise to myself! I was in for such a treat! I didn't buy much but I could spend hours and hours in the store browsing their many rooms. What doesn't this store offer??? It's a wonderland of fun for ladies! You can find gifts for yourself or loved ones ranging from clothes, jewelry, houseware, lotions, purses, jewelry bags, mugs, wedding gifts, candles, LSU attire, blankets, children's clothing holiday items (depending on th holiday - as they were switching out their Christmas inventory to Mardi Gras). I'm telling you - rooms and rooms of countless option of any occasion! The employees were very helpful and answered a few questions I had about their jewelry. Mind you, a lot of their stuff is made in China (what isn't these days). Just be a smart consumer on what you are purchasing. I wish I had had more time to spend at the store, as I was visiting a friend and we were on limited time. Definitely a worthwhile place to just check out and window shop! You won't be disappointed!

Don't get me wrong, I burn incense and candles at home, but having so much scented material in paper and open containers in a small space does not make good air. It was hard for me to determine how any of the incense smelled because I could only smell The One True Scent of everything mixed together. Anyway, this place is fine and typical. Has stones, jewelry (expensive), incense and incense burners, books, tarot. Doesn't have figurines, clothing, or smoking paraphernalia like some places; whether thats good or bad is up to you. They have a decent selection of affordable gems. Didn't find anything I really wanted though; many of the crafted items were poor quality, it'd be nice if they replaced the badly made wooden boxes with used or antique ones, and maybe included some local candlemakers and other artisans.

I had two immediately assist me and several others checked in as I browsed the store. I watched different employees provide amazing assistance to the gentlemen in the store who needed a little extra help trying to find gifts for their ladies and daughters in their lives. They have a little of everything - clothes, shoes, handbags, housewares, seasonal items, jewelry, a room for baby clothes and gifts, and a large room for local sorority clothes and gifts. If you're looking for it, it's probably there. When checking out, the ladies explained the return policy in depth to every customer in line. (They have done this every time I have gone.) Customers should remember that even the seller is at the mercy of the supplier, so if they have to go by a specific brand's policy for returning items or exchanging them, it's not the fault of the small business owner. I listened to them work with a fussy customer, and they were polite and empathetic, and they explained the situation. By the end, while not ideal for immediate gratification, a resolution was in the works. That was great service! I can't wait to return after the holidays to do a little personal shopping and find some nice little happies for myself!
