My wedding invitations were not only late but multiple items were missing when they were sent out. For example: there was no ribbon, wax seal or onion skin paper. Please tell me how you send out wedding invitations unfinished? I just don't understand. The owner would only respond by email. It's two years later and I still can't believe how unprofessional this was therefore, I felt lead to leave a review to discourage others from feeling this way.

The store is located at Government Street and Terry Drive, and there is a small parking lot associated with it. Street parking is also available if there are a lot of customers when you visit. The store has all the favorites -LSU, SU, and Saints attire, body glitter, the infamous t-shirts, the door hangers, quippy housewares, earrings, socks, baby items, and so much more. Staff was really friendly and appropriately attentive. They allow you to try on items in the shared bathroom (there is a small nail salon and small hair salon also on the property). Hopefully they will start to have more Baton Rouge specific art and items in the store and adapt to the area (like they did in Bay St. Louis). Lots of their items are very New Orleans focused, but i assume with time, that could change. Looking forward to seasonal visits to check out all the things! There were so many great gifts and shirts for myself and my favorite people from LSU to the Saints to Mardi Gras gifts and everything in between. There are even some specific fandom swag for fans of Taylor Swift, Dolly Parton, and the Golden Girls. I must say that the new Saints "Kool-Aid" shirt was a hit with my favorite Saints fan. I'm excited for some of my new LSU swag, including my STTDB earrings and my beautiful new NOLA Nighttime print. I regularly make it to Bay St Louis/Waveland for Mardi Gras and will definitely need to seek out the Mississippi store when I'm next on the Gulf Coast.

I am always greeted with a smile and given my space to explore. Staff offers assistance with gift ideas, gives the history behind the products they carry, and are willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied. About a year ago, they moved around the corner (same building) to a bigger space, and now you can see the treasures a little better. While some items are pricey, The Queen Bee isn't charging more than you would pay to purchase them elsewhere, and items go on sale now and then, so you can find even more to take home with you. The Queen Bee supports other local businesses in the area, and now and then you will find they have items like a local baker's cookies (don't pass them up). I will continue coming back time and time again.

Well, Christmas morning when my wife opened up her gifts, she found her cloths I had bought her still in the plastic bags, plus the prices showing. Has stones, jewelry (expensive), incense and incense burners, books, tarot. Doesn't have figurines, clothing, or smoking paraphernalia like some places; whether thats good or bad is up to you. They have a decent selection of affordable gems. Didn't find anything I really wanted though; many of the crafted items were poor quality, it'd be nice if they replaced the badly made wooden boxes with used or antique ones, and maybe included some local candlemakers and other artisans.

I had two immediately assist me and several others checked in as I browsed the store. I watched different employees provide amazing assistance to the gentlemen in the store who needed a little extra help trying to find gifts for their ladies and daughters in their lives. They have a little of everything - clothes, shoes, handbags, housewares, seasonal items, jewelry, a room for baby clothes and gifts, and a large room for local sorority clothes and gifts. If you're looking for it, it's probably there. When checking out, the ladies explained the return policy in depth to every customer in line. (They have done this every time I have gone.) Customers should remember that even the seller is at the mercy of the supplier, so if they have to go by a specific brand's policy for returning items or exchanging them, it's not the fault of the small business owner. I listened to them work with a fussy customer, and they were polite and empathetic, and they explained the situation. By the end, while not ideal for immediate gratification, a resolution was in the works. That was great service! I can't wait to return after the holidays to do a little personal shopping and find some nice little happies for myself!

This left me with the impression that customer input is not valued and that concerns are met with sarcasm rather than professionalism. As much money I spend there, I felt applaud and very hurt.
