My mom, daughter, and I checked it out today and we're lucky to find a parking spot as the small lot was full and so was the side road off Government. Tip: the entrance and parking are not facing Government Street, so look for the big "FLEURTY GIRL" sign on the building then turn down the side road. I was surprised to see just how much this store has! Everything from cute LSU and Saints boutique clothes, shoes, purses, earrings, etc to hilarious coasters and dish towels. Cute items for fans of Dolly, Taylor Swift, the Golden Girls, etc. Too much to type, so my advice is if you need a gift, go to Fleurty Girl! Definitely can find something Louisiana natives will love and cherish or something to make everyone laugh. Prices seem reasonable too, so have fun shopping!

My favorite store for Louisiana themed gifts! It's been a long time coming, but finally having a…read moreBaton Rouge store was worth the wait. The store is located at Government Street and Terry Drive, and there is a small parking lot associated with it. Street parking is also available if there are a lot of customers when you visit. The store has all the favorites -LSU, SU, and Saints attire, body glitter, the infamous t-shirts, the door hangers, quippy housewares, earrings, socks, baby items, and so much more. Staff was really friendly and appropriately attentive. They allow you to try on items in the shared bathroom (there is a small nail salon and small hair salon also on the property). Hopefully they will start to have more Baton Rouge specific art and items in the store and adapt to the area (like they did in Bay St. Louis). Lots of their items are very New Orleans focused, but i assume with time, that could change. Looking forward to seasonal visits to check out all the things! Thanks for finally making your way to BTR!

When I told the girl at the counter I needed an outfit for my first game day she took me under her wing. I tried outfits on with a wide price range and found a few things I liked. Prices weren't cheap, but clothing was well sorted and all items were special pieces that packed a punch; nothing boring here. Although my usual clothing selections are a bit more timeless and less bright (so I didn't buy clothing here), I thoroughly enjoyed poking around and making friends with the staff. Bought a couple vintage-reproduction pairs of glasses that I will thoroughly enjoy- quite stylish. A really fun experience. For those who like to follow my meanderings while on business travel, from my AirBNB near LSU I visited (order by Mapquest): Time Warp Boutique Pink Elephant Antiques St Vincent De Paul (CLOSED) Goodwill 3121 College, then vegan Cajun lunch at nearby Vegan Friendly Foods Purple Cow Goodwill 10778 Coursey

I was a fan of the many different locations in New York City, and this one has the same feel. What I appreciated about it is there was no obnoxious loud must pumped through the store. It was quiet with little foot traffic that day. A lot of the clothes use partially recycled materials, which is nice. I also like that they have styles for everyone - young, old, and all sizes. And the prices were pretty on point - very much like what I would have ordered online for fun "club nights." The employees were helpful and really friendly. I didn't expect to say this, but I look forward to another trip in!

The quality of the clothes looked really nice and the store was very well organized. Nestled in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and the Ruby Slipper. I kind of wish I had more time to shop because I could think of a bunch of people that I can give them items in there to. There were 2 young ladies at the register, when I walked in (helping another a customer check out), but neither of them greeted me upon walking in. For a store this small and so specialized, I was really expecting customer service to be stellar. That was a minor set back for me because I do plan on returning, if I ever need LSU Tiger clothing or memorabilia. Be sure to check them out and hope you receive a tab bit better customer service than I did.

The sidewalk sale caught my eye today, and I left there with 8 LSU pieces of clothing for $44 with tax; all $5 each but worth much more as you can imagine! I bought a pair of black yoga pants, two flowery exercise tanks, a short sleeve shirt (cuter than a regular tshirt though), a super soft long sleeve, two purple skirts for my girls, and an adorable patterned LSU dress for my 4 year old. I'm so excited I happened to be eating lunch next door at La Divina today! I will no doubt be back and will hopefully catch another sidewalk sale as they supposedly have them 2-3 times per year.
