We used this company for invitations/save the dates/cups etc. for my wedding coming up in May. At first I thought they were just very busy and we had a lot of time to get things going so we were very understanding. But as the process went on I think it's more of an internal organization issue. I would have to follow up excessively to receive proofs, the quality of the proofs were hit or miss, my expectation was that they were the experts in wording/stationary choices but I found myself having to request more formal wording for my black tie wedding invites... I understand mistakes happen but it was the amount of mistakes and lack of care to fix them that really drove me away from this business. The following are my main issues: The proofing process was not stream lined, edits would be left off, not a timely process. Unprofessional. No system for quality checks - wrong quantity ordered/wrong color ordered Not timely - the dates and times you would need your order were treated more like guidelines. I understand delays happen but when you pay extra for a rush order and it comes in on time but they just didn't take the time to stuff them... it feels like your order is not important. To add insult to injury, when they were completed, they did not take the time to call promptly, I had to call to check in and at that point I was told they were completely earlier. Again, I don't expect perfection but when you're paying upwards of $6000 for all of your wedding stationary/cups/etc. the expectation is for quality service/products. Once we went to pick up the order there was no time to make the order right so we are unable to use the invitations for detail pictures for the wedding as they are a completely different color than was requested. There was no time to get them reprinted before the RSVP date and it just made me very upset as the invitations were really important to me. When my mom called to try and remedy the situation we were told that the best they can do is give us 25% off and some free napkins... Respectfully, we just wanted them listen to our concerns and make things right, without cutting us off and speaking over us, as the order was not what was agreed upon. They just showed a complete lack of care. After trying to work with this business for last few months, I would highly recommend you take your business elsewhere.

As for this location, my first thing to note, if there is a large puddle in the parking lot, don't park in it. It's not rain water - there is a sewage issue and the parking lot often has flooded spots. I parked near it on my last visit, and you could smell the sewage and there was wet tissue in the puddle. Just find another spot. I can usually find what I am looking for at a decent price here. Lots of items are damaged, but you have to know what you're getting. Also, if you're buying something with words, check the spelling. An associate and I had a great laugh at a few misspelled Christmas items last year. There are usually some pretty good sales on most the things, so I'll stock up on little holiday extras here and there. They have a lot of registers, but usually only a few are open. I like the staff there mostly, everyone is pretty friendly. I also notice that, unlike the Dollar Tree next door, they actively keep people away from loitering at the doors.

This is usually in the parking lot of the Saint Joseph's Cathedral, but if the weather is bad it will instead be located on the first floor of the Galvez Parking Garage. The Arts Market is a project of the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge. It draws artists and crafts folks who work in many types of media. Woodworkers, sculptors, and painters of all sorts are commonly there. But one must also consider the soap-makers, clothing and accessory makers, those who make cards and stationary, potters, collage artist, and others! This is a great place to visit to get unique and local home decorations and gifts! The wearables are something special as well. Jewelry that is uniquely you. Things you certainly won't find at the mall or big box store. And you can feel good about buying local and supporting the artists in the Baton Rouge area!

My wedding invitations were not only late but multiple items were missing when they were sent out. For example: there was no ribbon, wax seal or onion skin paper. Please tell me how you send out wedding invitations unfinished? I just don't understand. The owner would only respond by email. It's two years later and I still can't believe how unprofessional this was therefore, I felt lead to leave a review to discourage others from feeling this way.
