I guess it's an old ballroom and while it was a bit grungy (can't fault them we dropped in unexpectedly), it's got such great architectural details. I hope this is where our party ends up.

Think high tea with scones and tidbit plates with the chandeliers brightly lit. Unfortunately, it wasn't set up like this, but it doesn't hurt to visualize, right? When I went, the venue was set up with rows of chairs and 2 grand pianos up front. Still quite lovely. It definitely could use a few updates, but not too many because it will take away from the historical feel of the space. I am not sure what else this space is most used for, but it's nice to know that it exists because I'd love to let more people know about it! It's definitely a hidden gem in downtown Baton Rouge.
