From the very first communication, Bryan was professional & responsive. He was very easy to work with and dare I say "fun"! Since my husband and I are tikiphiles; it was important to us to find a bartender who was already well-versed in tiki cocktails and someone who would be willing to not only wear a Hawaiian shirt, but a lei as well. Bryan was our guy! He even had a Hawaiian shirt already! We figured out what 5 cocktails we would serve and Bryan promptly sent us the list of ingredients. During the party, Bryan was fun to engage with and all of our 50+ guests raved about his delicious cocktails! His tiki drinks & energetic attitude were the hit of our party! Bryan was also very flexible and was even willing to stay an hour longer than our agreed upon time. I cannot sat enough good things about Bryan! We will definitely hire him again for our next tiki party! A big Mahalo to you, Bryan.

From start to finish, Tara made the whole event easy for me. She was super responsive answering all the questions I had, and I appreciated her ability to provide multiple quotes depending on which options we selected. Pricing was very competitive and more than reasonable. We ordered a variety of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages in addition to charcuterie boards, mini spinach feta spanakopitas, Balinese style meatballs, caprese skewers, and grilled veggie platters. Everything tasted great, and the presentation was fantastic. The day of the event Tara and her colleague Dan arrived early to allow for ample time to set up and prepare for our event. The level of attention to detail was great, from adding our company's logo to the menu board, to bringing flowers as decorations by the food. I highly recommend working with Tara and her teak for future catering events and now have my go-to Seattle catering company!

We reached out to Seattle Bartending Co, and they worked with us nicely through PeerSpace. Of course we had the food catered from a different place and setup our own look, but the location was decent for what we needed. One con is that they stated that the event space held up to 40 folks, but they only were able to offer 25 chairs-- that was a problem. Either list 25 as the capacity or add more chairs to suit the capacity of guests. It was really problematic, and I felt bad for my standing guests.

Since many of my friends don't drink, having a mocktail bartender felt like the perfect addition. On the day of the event, she arrived early, set everything up beautifully, and served the most delicious mocktails (my favorite was the Lychee Lover!). Our guests were raving about her drinks and loved the entire experience. Overall, it was such a wonderful experience, and I hope to book with Strain & Sip again for future events. We were providing the drinks and decor (and some of the food), but we needed a bartender and wait staff. About a week before the event, they reached out to us and made sure that every detail was covered, as well as give us their individual contact info in case we needed to reach them immediately. They also worked extremely well with our wedding planner, and were very flexible when we had to shift around times and include their help in setting up the venue. Brooke (our bartender) was great about putting our drinks aside before the wedding so that other people wouldn't drink all of our favorite beverages before we got to them, and Valerie (Lead Event Staff) and AJ (Event Staff) - in addition to helping set up the venue - also attended two chafing dishes, bussed all empty cans/bottles/cups/plates, and cut the cake. I don't think I ever saw them not in motion. Everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient. Highly recommended!

She went above and beyond for us, starting with the first informational call even before we hired her, when she had researched 1920s era cocktails and cool facts. At our cocktail tasting where we met to refine the menu (which may have been as fun as the actual party), she showed up in a 1920s bartender outfit and brought delicious mixers, printed menus and ideas. When our glassware order went wonky with the rental company, Charlene only got in touch with us after she had advocated on our behalf, and when that didn't change anything she had come up with a creative and thoughtful proposal for how to get the glassware needed for the party, at no extra effort or cost from us. Blown away. I've never experienced the level of service Charlene offers before. And of course, the cocktails!! The drinks were absolutely delicious and our guests couldn't get enough.
