During one of the early visits we had to tell the waitress that the seafood gumbo needed to be heated up because it was at room temperature. I'm hopeful that they read these comments because another Yelper called it tepid temperature which I agree. This shouldn't happen at all! The flavor of the gumbo was fine but wished it was slightly thicker with more ingredients. The seafood fried sampler was fantastic! Perfectly fried and clean oil. The shrimp was plump and delicious. Overall a good restaurant that needs some attention to food temperature. I wanted to watch a NFL game on Fox and the poor waitress tried to change the channel but wasn't able to. They have TV's all over the restaurant but only ESPN?! It's a pseudo sports bar with no other sports channels.

I was there to try their pizza, but my friend wasn't down to split it, so we each got an entree. He got the grilled chicken with grilled veggies from the lunch menu, and I got spaghetti and meatballs. Ugh, you could tell the noodles had been cooked in advance and held in water, rewarmed with hot water, and plated. A lot of Italian restaurants do this: cook the noodles in advance and keep them in oily water for the lunch or dinner rush, but these noodles were from the day before, at least. The sauce was watery, but the kicker was the meatballs. They were the same ones that you get in cheap frozen dinners or the $ 4 bags of meatballs at Walmart. It's an Italian restaurant; the one thing you should be able to get right is spaghetti and meatballs. Anyway, my friend's chicken was dry, and the veggies were oily and obviously frozen. The second star was for the staff; our waitress was very nice, the place was clean, and the prices. I guess you get what you pay for.
