Very rude management, I had came in to return a costume and threw out the paper cover thinking I wouldn't need to return the costume. Turns out the costume fit me HUGE so I called beforehand to see if they would accept the return without the paper cover. Spoke to a male manager and he said it's part of the costume so all they could do was give me store credit which was fine with me..made my way over there and went to the register lady called him over because she couldn't scan anything to process the return he had asked if I called and I told him yes and he said "okay well that paper is part of the costume so we can do a full return what did you do with the paper?" I was kinda confused why he was talking to me like if I was arguing with him asking for a return I had told him on the phone I was fine with store credit lol. I had then told him it got tossed because I originally wasn't planning on returning the item. He then said "ok well I'm gonna do this for this time but next time you can't be tossing items" I think he said some customer service classes because I wasn't planning on arguing over a $30 costume I'm never one to complain but Mr manager came at me aggressively for no reason That is all lol do what you must with the review read more

I was ready to pay for my items at the register when the two girls in the helium area saw me. One of them was filling the balloons talking to the other while the other girl read the text messages on her phone. I waited patiently and they continued to ignore there was anyone at the register. I asked them are you girls able to help me. One of them replied yes I'll be right there with an annoyed tone. Her name is Julie and proceeded to check my items by tossing them around as if it bothered her to do her job. This stores customer service has become mediocre to say the least. I wouldn't be surprised if this store ends up closed in our area due to their lack of customer service and leadership from management. read more

Well I normally really like this store but today I was angry when walking out. Now I could care less of peoples preferences and such however when a store will sell gay pride balloons but nothing for Veterans Day thats when its an issue. Tried to order a balloon bouquet for my great grand daughters 1st birthday. They won't take a credit card over the phone. They won't deliver to the local area. They didn't have half of the items I'd wanted to order. So, I was told to go the the web site to use my credit card. At checkout I couldn't get past the collection of email request or signing up for notices. Totally lacked service norms and didn't seem to care if I made an order or not. I've been going to this store for numerous occasions. Recently, I've been planning a gender reveal party, and a graduation party within days of each other. For the grad party, I went in to order balloons yesterday and kept changing my mind on what I wanted to do (colors, sizes, best deals... I was THAT woman)... I believe his name was Scott- the employee- was very helpful and even though it's a super busy season for PC, he helped me with decisions and even after I placed my order, I called back and changed my mind AGAIN on the balloon colors. He was understandable & made sure the changes will be made for pickup time! I'm only giving 4 stars for now but will likely change it if all goes right this weekend :) read more

Inefficiency at it's best. If you would like to get balloons, feel free to wait. You cannot call in an order but you can wait for a long time while a cashier man's the balloons, the customer's at her register and run's back to the isles when needed. read more

Just left party city, after my very first time going, and couldn't be more disappointed with my experience! I was trying to get 18 of my own balloons filled up, I was told they had a limit of 12, that's fine, so my friend went to the back of the line for the other 6. As they begin filling up the balloons I payed for, one pops. Not a SINGLE employee apologizes or even offers a refund or replacement. No one acknowledged it, I then asked if they could replace it and DANIELLE (was wearing a side ways blue beanie) says "no sorry we could only refund however much ONE balloon would have been." When I'm handed my balloons, no one offered a refund a replacement NOTHING. After I clearly stated that I had expected one. Not to mention, Danielle was all alone on the register with a decent line and she CLEARLY doesn't handle pressure well because her attitude was absolutely horrid. I will NOT be coming back to this store, I'd rather spend my money on my own helium tank. read more

Possibly the rudest salespeople I've encountered in a long time. The store is big, colorful, and a bit overwhelming. My 6 year picked up a Halloween decoration to show me and the rudest employee interrupted her and told her that if we weren't going to buy that, she needed to put that back where she got it. Excuse me? Number one- of course we'd put it back where we found it. Number two- I'm standing right there, talk to me, the adult, not the six year old. You're not in charge of teachable moments, I am. Number three- I worked in retail for years, and I've shopped in retail stores even longer and I've never been approached by an employee telling me that we need to put the item in our hands back where we found it if we weren't going to buy it, well I tell you what, we sure as hell aren't going to buy it, or anything else, now. This is why brick and mortar stores are closing up, people are tired of dealing with rude employees. Why should I give your store my hard earned money when you employ people who obviously aren't that happy to have a job. Amazon prime has two day shipping, I'll give them my money instead. read more

Super annoyed.. wasted time and money buying a huge balloon that deflated complete with in hrs. After checking it I realized it was never properly tied at the end they just wrapped the string around it, obviously not good enough. Called them and explained the situation only to have the girl tell me it probably deflated cuz a few hours had passed by not because it wasn't tied properly ... umm yeah ok oh and she ended the conversation with well we can't do anything for you because we are out of helium ... read more

Went to buy a morph suit advertised at $24.99 (all suits were advertised that price) and the item rang up at $34.99. After the manager verified the false advertising, they sold me the suit for the price it was advertised. Unfortunately, the suit was too small, so when I went back to exchange it (about 45 minutes later) ALL suits were advertised at $34.99. The manager said the different sized suit cost more because it was larger. I told her an hour ago, all the suits were $24.99. It's messed up they wouldn't honor the price I originally bought the item at. Will not be shopping her again. read more

I got $45 worth of things there and had a bowl break and I went to exchange it for one that wasn't broken and the sales clerk, a grown man, was not allowed to perform exchanges only the managers can which took a while.
